“Love the homey atmosphere! You can tell everything is homemade with love patty melt on rye was delicious as was the hash skillet and eggs over hash. The seasonal pumpkin pancake was also great 10/10 would recommend and come again. Street parking only so keep your eyes peeled for a spot.“

“This was my first time here I live out of state currently and I have alpha gal syndrome so I am allergic to mammal. This place we decided to try it out and man oh man! This was my first time eating in a restaurant in a LONG time!!! Absolutely amazing food! It all looks and smells delicious! The staff is very friendly! I highly recommend this place! The menu can be found online and the paper menu in-house is clearly marked with possible allergen information! 10/10.“

“An excellent Massachusetts wedding venue! I'm a wedding photographer and had the pleasure of photographing one of my couple's weddings at Grove. I love it so much that I had to write a venue guide about it on my website.
Everything was great, from visiting one partner in Briar Barn Inn (where they were getting ready) right up until the dance party portion of the reception.
The staff were very kind (to the couple and to the vendors) and everything ran smoothly. I was particularly impressed by how they handled plan changes: this wedding took place during the first storm of the season, so I just had to get the couple outside for some snow pictures. This was no problem though, which was great.
I highly recommend Grove at Briar Barn Inn for your wedding. This cozy venue will take care of you on your big day!“

“Will always recommend Lil Devils. We order delivery via DoorDash and their chicken finger plates w fries and cheese pizzas are our favorites. We were pleasantly surprised at how GREAT their pizza is. Some of the best in the area. Chicken fingers are sooo good w the spicy sweet Thai sauce for dipping. Go get yourself an order or two!“
“Love the vibe of Notch, and of course, the BEER! The owner and staff are great, attentive, and always there with a smile. Yoy got to try the pretzel and look for special events like the monthly meat raffle! I appreciate their policy of 21+ at night, kids are great, but sometimes not all the time! Speaking of kids, I especially appreciate the staff encouraging parents to be attentive to their kids during earlier hours so they aren't running around unregulated. Kids need to behave in public places like this!“

“I just experienced exceptional customer service! To top it off I got to enjoy a generously filled lobster roll, on a grilled bun, along with fresh chips and a delightful pickle! Today is Tuesday, so it was less than $15! I am so grateful that I treated myself at Surfside tonight, after a long work day!

“It is so wonderful to hear that the Agawam Diner is still in business. I grew up in Portsmouth, NH and from 1975?-1989, my mother had to take me for a periodic checkup to an allergy physician in Danvers and most every time on the way back home we would stop at the diner to have something to eat. I am now 55 and living in Florida, but I will never my several visits to the Agawam Diner. For those that haven't eaten there yet, do yourself a favor and stop in. You will not be disappointed“

“We met some friends to celebrate our friend's birthday. We sat out on the deck with a lovely view. The waitress was very accommodating having made a suggestion when I could not eat the vegetables offered due to dietary restrictions. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed their meals. The only negative was that it was a very very warm evening and there were no fans or AC on the deck or even in the inside dining room. So we were all a bit uncomfortable. However, we managed to enjoy our meals and would return again on a cooler evening.“

“Ipswich Ale Brewery in Ipswich, MA for a flight+ & a pint of some delicious New England suds. This was my first trip here so I was like a kid in a candy store except there was no candy, just a bunch of craft beer. I hadn't tried anything from these guys either, but saw they were only 45min from where I moved recently so I figured I'd make the trip. I had no idea that they had been in operation since 1991, making them the Massachusetts North Shores oldest brewery. They have a bunch of different styles, with ales seemingly being the main focus, but I figured I would try as many as I could. This job is hard, but somebody has to do it. 🍻🍻🔥💪☘
The first taster in my flight of four was the AMERICAN LAGER that I personally thought was excellent & a above average lager for sure. My second 4oz taster was the IPSWICH PILSNER that was another good light offering from these guys. Definitely off to a good start beer wise here so far. The third taster was the BLUEBERRY SHANDY that was just okay, but I'm not big into shandy's or radler's, I may just need to find the right one. The last 4oz I scooped was the CRANBERRY BERET Fruited Sour which was a average sour, I enjoyed it more than the shandy though. I then grabbed a pint of the flagship IPA simply named IPA, a above average delicious offering as far as American IPAs go. I finished off my visit with another 4oz taster of the HELLBOUND Barleywine, a yummy barleywine packed with tons of flavor & notes raisins & caramel. 🍻🍺🔥☘☘
I got a cheeseburger for lunch with tots (one of my many weaknesses) as a side to soak up the beer. The burger was good, but nothing crazy that I would go out of my way for again if I returned to the area. All the usual seating options with a big bar, hightops, tables & patio. The bartender was super friendly & sociable letting us know what was most popular beers were & the beers he personally liked himself. Plenty of beer to go as well for home or tastings with friends. Well worth checking out if you're in the area, they have a style of beer for everyone. 🍻🍻🔥☘✌♥️🍺

“Anytime we are traveling North we have to make a stop here. I LOVE their themed ciders we came in October specifically for their Pocus flight and this past July for their Shark flight to celebrate shark week. We never leave without taking home a pack or two. It is kind of hard to find parking but we make it work. There is no food here but sometimes they have food trucks or you can bring your own food and eat it at the patio.“

“In my opinion, Siam Delight has The Best Thai food on the NorthShore! We usually do Take-Out but have dined in many times and our waitresses have always been very kind & efficient. The food is always hot, fresh, plentiful & delicious. I especially like their red curry & tofu dish. Their prices too are very reasonable. If you're craving Thai food, you must try Siam Delight! :)“

“What can I say other than magical?! We were fortunate enough to host my son’s 11th birthday party in the back room (The kids loved the secret hidden entrance through the bookcase). Tons of great games for all ages and the food was fantastic! Literally everything we had was gourmet quality and up to my foodie 11 year-old’s standards. We will definitely be back if not just for the food!“

“This place is such a treat. We stopped in on a whim after much deliberation about what to eat in Salem, and we’re so happy we did. The owner, Ray, acquired Adea’s a few years back and the addition of Jamaican menu items to the mediterranean offerings really is the highlight, in my opinion. My boyfriend got the Jerk Chicken plate and I got Escoveitch fish. Both dishes were incredible, and you can obviously tell the passion and appreciation Chef Ray has for his food. It was all so good: Crispy fish skin, peas and rice, and delicious house-made jerk sauce that blew us away. Places like this are few and far between, so do yourself a favor and sit down in this place!“

“Cala’s is the Bee’s Knees! I am blown away with the quality of food and especially the service! Golden nachos COVERED in tender pulled pork and fresh cheese, chicken tenders are hand battered and well seasoned, hand cut french fries cooked to perfection. Food and service have been superb, consistent, and dependable. Definitely a regular spot for us.“
