“My hubby is the manager at Antons cleaners next door to liberty and when I come in with him on early days etc etc, I always- I mean ALWAYS people!- get us liberty bell for lunch. It’s the best roast beef sandwich you can find and it’s consistently made the same way so you can expect that high quality with every order honestly. Their online ordering is smooth and simple and they’re super safe upon pickup and following any and every Covid precaution there is! My wife and I both got a full breakfast and a side of bacon and pancakes for only 28 bucks. It would have been roughly 40+ anywhere else. Food was fantastic as well!

And the service was even better than the food if you can imagine that!

Atmosphere may not be up your alley, it's an older spot and looks like such but once you walk in you'll either smile and sit down and have a great breakfast with incredible service, or you'll miss out lol

Either way Ernie's has become me and my wife's new favorite spot for breakfast (when we're lazy lol) on weekends!“

“We stumbled upon Half & Half while searching for a place to get breakfast and stopped in with our 2 yo. Very cute interior with a friendly staff and delicious food. My wife absolutely loved her avocado toast with eggs and my breakfast sandwich was perfectly grilled. We ordered chocolate chip pancakes for our son who also chomped on my home fries and fresh fruit from my wife’s plate. The person who waited on us (the owner?) was exceptionally friendly and stopped off to talk through all of the various types of butter on the table (no, seriously, like four different kinds and all equally amazing!). We will definitely be back for lunch — and more butter.“

“I "cried" when my fave VEGAN or VEGETARIAN "GO-to" eat-in place closed all their locations around Boston. That was sadly & formerly GrainMaker .. (gone now) However DiG has grown on me as their deFACTO replacement for all FRESH VEGGIES and otherwise ALL FRESH MEAL VEGAN or VEGETERIAN eats and eat-in place! This is becoming my greatly reccomended "hidden vegan and veggie gem" in Boston with LOTS of locations. They have 3 locations thus far in Boston and 2 in Cambridge. I hav ONLY visited their downtown location thus far! Just as formerly with GrainMaker, DiG is as close to authentic home cooked! & genuinely HEALTHY! AND fresh meals that you can get to. Always fresh veggies, steamed & otherwise. --(they also serve a variety of proteins, as in variety of meats and fish, but i stay vegan. I have NEVER tried any of their meats or fish here.. ONLY their veggies and seasoned TOFU on occasion.. more oft than not, i do not even get their TOFU as a protein and opt to feast on JUST their steamed or boiled or baked veggies, bases. like rice and excellent mixed veggie salads sides!) Have been frequenting it for about 2 years since 2023 now, but held off on reviewing it until i was SURE of my experiences here. Decided to review it today bcs "it's time". I spoke to the very customer service oriented and responsibve supervisor here at this location, his name is DiJuan and was served by Adonis today and he was also very accommodating (after i explained i eat vegan) and on showing me my MANY fresh veggie choices, bases, proteins (including delish prepared Tofu) and PLENTY of heavenly veggie sides, all preped like you'd expect to find in a Thanksgiving grand day family meal. (AND they do this EVERY DAY!! ) This is HEALTHY eats and quite tasty and delish! See my posted pic w this review of my choice of eats today. In short, just today, i started with very little brown rice as my base and added 2 types of their fresh salad, Cannellini Beans w dill & greens along with their steamed or boiled Kale greens and added also a sweet potato that had been steamed & also steamed brocolli. I LUV eating fresh, healthy, TASTY and "homemade style" (as in NOT processed!!). I added their Garlic dressing to top it off. It came to something like 10+ bucks (B4 tax)! Unheard of !! for a BIG & FULLY portioned full veggie plate like this! BIG PORTION of a FULL PLATE! -- i declined, as usual to get any protein with my meal today, is why, STiLL i got a HUGE portioned plate! ( I normally HAVE2 order 2 - 3 separate orders and combine them, at HoneyGrow, anuther fave local "vegan" franchise in Boston, in order to get filled up if i'm only eating OMAD, as in One-meal-a-Day, in order to get full elsewhere usually!). They have a FAMILY (feeds4) option after 3pm every day that feeds 4-5 people (adults not kids) for like $43. QUITE A BARGAIN for something like this. AND it look like a Thankgiving day meal to top it off! --(formerly anuther non-vegan place "had this", now gone, called Boston Market. However they LOADED their side protions and even base meal with SO MUCH SALT, yuck! so that was ALL you could taste. THEY supposedly made home made, but found out NOT SO!!, theirs was loaded with processed sh*t, like their supposedly home-made mashed potatoes were the powder kind, loaded with pseudo milk and SALT, YUCK!!) NOT SO ! with this place.. DiG is 180 degrees fr tht.. This is truly GREAT tasting REAL and "home-prepped" veggies. They are winning me over from my other 2 "go-to's" "vegan-ish" franchises in Boston whcih have steadily been declining for various reasons, those being Bon-Me (their employees, over at Bon-Me for last 2-3 years it seems at ALL locations i have tried, simply do not undertsand nor speak english for the most part, their food WEN i can get it ordered the way i want it, is generally good, oft times its taken over 2 returned plates in order to get it prepared the way i orderd it.. v“

The sandwiches are like no other sandwiches. The focaccia is home made. The ingredients are fresh, seasonal and locally sourced. It’s not just a sandwich, it’s sandwich art!

There are some rules, such as no eating inside, but they enhance the experience: Davis Sq. is a delightful place to eat outside.

We have yet to eat every item on the menu, but nothing has disappointed so far. Excellent coffee and kombucha are also on offer.“

“I booked an early dinner for my husband and I and two other couples. We were all walking towards Boston Common to see Commonwealth Shakespeare's production of As You Like It after dinner. The location of Blu is perfect for seeing theater in Boston. The food is always so good. My friends and I commented on how we enjoy having multiple options on the menu that we really want to try. “After 3 days of lackluster customer service at car rentals, hotels and restaurants (the kind where you have to track down silverware and plates to consume the food that has been placed in front of you) our experience here deserved a fabulous review. From the time we were greeted, to being seated and on our way out the door late on a Monday night, the experience was marvelous! Our server, Nate made great recommendations and was enthusiastic about our order, unobtrusively kept the water glasses filled and had the delicate balance of checking on us mastered.The unexpected star of our meal was the roasted beet and faro salad, although the pretzel and poutine were not far behind. The food was so good we even forgot about the beautiful cocktails we were having. Although we arrived an hour before closing, we were never rushed. Two weary travelers were cared for, served fabulous cocktails and delicious food in a timely manner so that we could return to our room to get ready for a morning flight. Highly recommend this establishment.“

My food was promptly provided and the level of taste and satisfaction is unmatched. No other Heathy restaurants in the Seaport area can hold a match to DOG food and service. I am not impressed easily as I have never ever written a Seaport review but I would being doing DIG an injustice by NOT giving credit where credit is due.
