“We had the best lunch catered by La Qchara last Saturday for a group of friends from 4 countries (including Colombia and Venezuela). Everyone loved the food, particularly our friends from Colombia and Venezuela. They said the food was fantastic! Emily was so nice when she delivered the food, and it was right on time. My husband and I had brunch at moonshine 152 last weekend and told friends about it. Next thing you know, the four of us were in there around noon time today having brunch again. We shared three starters, alongside sharing all four entrées and everything, I mean everything was to die for! Ms Asia herself delivered some of our plates and she is just as delightful as she is talented. Needless to say, dinner is amazing here as well. The vibe in the restaurant is so easy and you can tell that the staff get along very well together. What I can't believe is how this place wasn't fully packed today or last weekend even. Definitely a good amount of patrons, but I've had brunch at places that are hard to get into and left much less satisfied.“

We ordered two pizzas, the burrata salad, and a charcuterie board, and everything hit the mark. The pizzas were perfectly cooked, great crust and flavor, the burrata was fresh and creamy, and the charcuterie board was exactly what you’d hope for—quality meats and cheeses done right.

Food came out quick, service was friendly and efficient, and the overall vibe was casual but lively.

Bottom line: food was mad good, everyone left happy, and I’d absolutely come back.“

“Service was quick and effecient. Wait staff gave me a great recommendation for lunch. The short rib curry was delicious; came with rice. Dining area was small, but single seats long the window were open. Price for the entree was $22, but short ribs don't come cheap. The meat fell off the bones, and it made a tasty curry! There were also peas and peppers in the curry. Spice level was perfect, big flavor, not heat.“

Poe-lenta at the Time Out Market in 401 Park is a place that really impressed me. The portions were exactly right, filling without being overwhelming, and the flavors came together beautifully. Every bite felt balanced and carefully prepared, turning a simple dish into something memorable.

The service was outstanding. My food was ready within two minutes, which is incredibly fast, and the staff were genuinely kind and attentive. They even took the time to show me photos of the different meals before I ordered, which made the whole process much easier and more enjoyable. That kind of personal touch made the visit feel special.

One thing to keep in mind is that they only accept card payments, no cash, but for me that was a small detail in an otherwise excellent experience.

Was just traveling through Salem on vacation in September & glad I found this place. Highly recommend. My wife absolutely loved her avocado toast with eggs and my breakfast sandwich was perfectly grilled. We ordered chocolate chip pancakes for our son who also chomped on my home fries and fresh fruit from my wife’s plate. The person who waited on us (the owner?) was exceptionally friendly and stopped off to talk through all of the various types of butter on the table (no, seriously, like four different kinds and all equally amazing!). We will definitely be back for lunch — and more butter.“

“My wife and I ate there recently the meal was phenomenal. I had the double cut veal with a mushroom demi. The veal was so tender and juicy, it was the best I have ever had. My wife had the seafood alfredo and has not stopped talking about it since. Staff was friendly and very knowledgeable about the menu. The chef even stopped by the table to check in on things.
