Right across the side street from The Commons at Worcester City Hall! Yes! We New Englanders know how to party! _____, her husband _____, pal _____, and yours truly (all of us Leominsterites) made merry at the best middle eastern establishment around! (It’s been a favorite of mine for some time!) Oversized containers piled high with falafel, kibbeh, egg plant, grape leaves, rice, vegetables, as well as beef and chicken (all separated for the veggies among us, ahem!), hummus, tahini, pita bread, baklava, etc. etc.! All in the wonderful Shawarma Palace! When I worked in Saudi Arabia (Riyadh) in the 1980s, I fell in love with the orange-and-lemon-flavored shawarmas along Al Baatha Street, the central traditional thoroughfare at the time. Today, we all got to replicate those flavors at the Shawarma Palace! Hurray and hurrah!“

Flights of waffles, pancakes and french-toast, eggs-benedict (Irish) with corned beef hash and what had to be a homemade english muffin, bagel breakfast egg & cheese sandwich and junior breakfast with CRISPY BACON - they asked how you want it regular or crispy. “Absolutely NOT !!! We ordered our food before 3 other customers who came in to eat in like us . I ordered a chicken salad my husband ordered a cheeseburger sub waited 20 mins still no food but the other 3 customers got their food one had a pizza one had chicken finger dinner and one had a steak and cheese. All of which were as quick as our order but i believe a pizza and fried chicken wings should of taken longer then a cheeseburger 🍔“

“i took my 11m old here for the first time today, it was my favorite pizza place growing up and it’s still amazing after all these years. i was so pleased to find out they still sold the house dressing in a container so obviously i bought some. the pizza was phenomenal and my salad was perfect, the veggies were perfect and fresh, no imperfections on the lettuce, all in all i was more than pleased coming back for my first time in years. thank you to the amazing staff for another amazing meal.“

“Bought a 4 pack at the local grocery. They had been stocking at the store for a short time. Had purchased their selection then realized the beer was flat and a waste. Spent almost $20 for a 4 pack to throw it away. Sent them a courtesy email that I was a bit disappointed and they should check the inventory at that store. Shawn responded a few days later and apologized and asked if I was near their brewery, and he would replace my purchase and offer me a T-Shirt and asked what store I purchased and if I had any photos. Sent him all the info and photos. He has not followed up on his promise.“

I recently made the mistake of going to McDonald’s just for the playground on a rainy day, and wow… it really made me appreciate Chick-fil-A even more.
The staff here are on another level—so professional, well-trained, polite, and genuinely kind. The food quality is consistently excellent, and the entire place is always spotless, bright, and beautifully maintained.
They go above and beyond with thoughtful details too. On one visit, they gave my daughter a plush cow, which made her day, and the new balloons are such a fun touch for kids. Even the bathrooms stand out—with sanitizing napkins, mints, and mouthwash available. It’s those little things that really set this place apart.
The only small downside is that I wish the play area were a bit bigger—but honestly, everything else is so great that it hardly matters.

We went there because they are a small business that supported the No Kings rally on October 18th and we wanted to show them our support. The pizza was absolutely delicious. “Olive Garden food is a nostalgic classic for our family and always hits the spot, but I felt compelled to review this specific location because of the fantastic service! Both the manager and our server were very attentive, friendly, and kind to our kids. We went during a busy time, and you would never have guessed how crowded it was based on the quality of their service.“

“I want to make some suggestions rather than saying I do or don’t recommend this place. I’m familiar with Pepper’s, and I like to support hard-working chefs, especially when they use local farms and vendors. The overall concept of self-service is fine, but I preferred the table service of the old restaurant. It felt a little more closed in, and I also don’t like the paper plates, cups, and plastic utensils. Real utensils were available, though. The salad choices looked really healthy and colorful, and the menu was certainly varied enough. I saw a frittata being served and it was the size of a half piece of pie, though it looked good. My friends and I opted for soup and grilled cheese sandwiches, thinking they would be more like upscale comfort food. Two of us had the bacon-tomato version, the other had the mushroom. Since they were pre-made, then popped in a convection oven, they were more like melted cheese on dry, light toast, versus the buttery, golden goodness that makes a grilled cheese what its name implies. The portion was small and the fillings meager. If the idea was to make it a healthier grilled cheese, even a drizzle of olive oil might help. The soup was luke-warm, but tasty enough. We shared a dessert bar, which was delicious, with black coffee, which didn’t taste fresh like it had ben sitting a while. Be forewarned that if you pay by credit card, an automatic 15 percent tip is added, though you have the option to change it up or down, if you happen to notice it. There wasn’t much service involved, and you clear your own table. My portion alone, which included the sandwich with chips, a cup of soup, dessert bar, and coffee, plus added tip came to just under twenty dollars. I would give it another shot, but there is room for improvement. We all agreed that the dining experience was at a grade of about C+. Wishing you success in the future... Hope this helps.“

“Celebrating my wife's birthday . Requested a bottle of chilled Chardonnay be at the table when we arrive. It was not . In fact they never even recognized my wife's birthday. My wife ordered Shrimp Scampi and they initially brought her the wrong meal. The correct meal was brought out very quickly. Our waiter was very good. The experience just fell short of my expectations. Not sure we'll revisit.“

I got a small coffee and cherry pastry and a toasty seat by the fire. The whole place was clean and bright, the staff friendly and ready, despite the early hour and the storm.
