“We brought three generations to Special Teas to fulfill my mother’s wish to have tea with her daughters and granddaughter. It was a lovely way to spend a fall afternoon. The service was fantastic and staff were very attentive. The variety in teas allowed everyone in our group the opportunity to experience unique tea flavors. “We went today, I wanted a peppermint coffee, but wasn’t sure exactly what I wanted. When I ordered a peppermint cold brew, the employee (I wish I got his name!) guided me through how to make it the tastiest version of what I wanted. When we pulled up to the drive thru window, he waited for me to taste it to make sure it was exactly what I wanted. It was EXACTLY perfect. Kudos to him, this made my day and I hope more people are blessed with his excellent customer service.“

“MOTW has the best chai in the city. I love the soft, creamy, silky texture of their Yemeni chai. I love the way they decorated the 38th st location, very inclusive and powerful pictures. Great spot to get some work or reading done. Also love their prayer or meditation area. It’s such a wonderful coffee shop. Usually Raadia is there when we go and she’s such a kind and friendly soul, always so helpful and customer focused.“

“We visited this great location during a “road trip” from Florida. We were greeted by Travis who was very welcoming and took the time to answer my questions about a couple of items on their menu without making me feel rushed. Since we couldn’t decide, we tried many items including their Oatmeal (the best we’ve had during our travels), Quiche (excellent), Avocado Toast (superior flavor), Summer Toast (great mixture of flavors with great blueberries), Chai Tea (just right), Peach Lemonade (very refreshing) and great coffee. Bolton Bean will be our “must go” place when in the area in the future.“

“My wife and I took our 3 year old daughter to check out this new coffee shop after it came up in a Google search. Let me say I had not met the couple that owns the shop before today, and yet I have never felt so invested in wanting to see a new shop succeed as much as I did this one! The owners are a lovely young couple, extremely friendly, and accommodating. They love what they do and it shows in the quality of the food. I ordered the Pi (egg sandwich) and a cold brew coffee. Both were excellent. They roast their own coffee beans and it had just the right amount of roasted coffee flavor. There were a dozen other things I wanted to try, including the creme brulee cheescake, the baklava cheese cake, and the Greek pies. My wife got a hot coffee with almond milk, mocha and peppermint. I like my coffee creamy, and this was the first coffee with almond milk that tasted good to me. I have found my new favorite coffee shop in the area. Whatever you're doing, drop it and visit Coffee & Pi now!“

I went through the drive thru and I had to wait a little longer, but she came to the window and let me know that the Bold coffee was just finishing brewing (anyone who complains about a little wait for fresh coffee is someone I will never understand, lol). I also ordered a bacon, egg and cheese sandwich, and the bacon was crisp, and there was plenty of it!! Wish I lived closer, I would drive thru all the time.I did not go in, and it is a Honey Dew inside a gas station, but DeeDee's service was so great, she earned the 5 stars for 'atmosphere'“
