“The type of breakfast sandwich that really gets me out of bed on a weekend. Would love for them to open a location in back bay (please) but I'm willing to traverse multiple blocks for this. It can get super busy but I ordered online ahead of time. No seating but could easily sit on a stoop or the curb or a bench nearby because it's in a cute neighborhood too. The Fancy sandwich is a top 2 contender for my favorite breakfast sandwiches in Boston“

“I was getting some work done on my car nearby and needed to kill a half hour or so. Kind of hidden/not super noticable from the outside, very cute pharmacy counter inside with a lot of cheap breakfast options. They are cash only (there's an ATM, $2 fee at time of posting).
I just got scrambled eggs with bacon and toast, SUPER reasonably priced, mostly older folks were there, eating and chatting or playing Keno.
The other patrons and the staff were all super chatty and kind. I honestly had a delightful time, if I lived closer I'd find excuses to come by all the time, great vibes.“

“Not sure how I didn’t know about this place before, but glad I decided to try it out! Menu options are great and I love that they have lots of sugar free syrup options. Got the avocado toast with egg and feta, so fresh and yummy. Good music too.“

Coming from the diner capital of the world, I can confidently say this place would stand out even back home. Their take on Eggs Benedict was outstanding; the hollandaise sauce was next-level and hard to put into words — truly top-tier!“

“Haven’t been here in YEARS, still the gem in Roxbury. This Black owned breakfast spot allows you to pull up and enjoy a home cooked breakfast with affordable and reasonable prices. I would absolutely recommend this spot. The sweet tea was too sweet so they made me half and half which was good!
Wish the place was a little updated but with prices like this I will definitely be back 🙂👍🏾“

“This place is a true local gem, our breakfast was delicious, I was really torn between finishing mine or eating the breakfast potatoes on my husband’s plate.. both were so delicious!! Highly recommend, the ladies serving are amazing!“
“I have been going to Maryann's for a while. Its a local breakfast and lunch place. All the food is cooked to order by Bob the Owner. I usually go for Breakfast but Lunch items are available as well. It is usually a 1 person operation except for Saturdays when Georgia usually works as a Server. Coffee is freshly brewed and very tasty. it is cash only but the gas station across the road has an ATM. Give them a try.“

“The BYO lox bagel. Btw not an issue at all that the toppings were on the side. It was 10/10 the best I’ve ever had. Came with the right amount of everything so if you wanted more or less, it was up to you. Ofc onion, tomato and capers. Suggest with jalapeño cheddar and scallion CC. Cant wait to show my sister this place. I know she’d love it too.“

“Went for breakfast food tastes great, large portions and is a nice homey feel place. Quick service and attentive. The coffee is good, menu is big and is not like every other Cafe. There are some creative options. Im looking forward to my next visit!“

“When I lived in Dorchester, I could hardly believe how old this is. Build 84 years before this became a country outstanding! There are a lot of historical buildings in Boston, they are a must-see when you visit. Just try to street clear of the Mass ave nonsense.“
