“We made reservations online for the Omaska. It was $300 which broke down to $120 per person with tip and tax. The tables were perfectly space out. They gave us a 2 hour limit which was enough time for the 12 course Omaska. Presentation on everything was amazing. Each course was fresh and delicious in their own way. It was hard to hear the man over his mask so I couldn't get any names. We had uni, tuna belly, scallops, and more. All the Courses were small but packed with favor. You can take there was attention to detail in the ingredients and presentation. Definitely, worth the money was a special event like a birthday. Would definitely come back“

“We’ve been coming here for close to 4 years. I used to live down the street but now make the 35 minute commute from Ashland just to get the food here.

The chicken pad Thai, seafood drunken noodles, red curry, and so many things are UNMATCHED. The service is always quick and extremely friendly.

Would recommend everyone to come here for take out or dine in.“

“Dropped in for dinner on a whim - so glad we did! The owner (daughter of Ruk Mae) seated us and made some suggestions, so we tried a few appetizers and split an entree. “This is the best Thai food I have ever had. It is fresh, clean, immaculate. The taste is meticulously perfect. I have eaten here probably close to one hundred times and have never been disappointed. The chive dumplings are my favorite and my boyfriend loves the chicken skewers with a sauce that I try to steal every time! “Little Spoon is a Thai restaurant tucked into a corner of Main Street in Needham with a cozy, welcoming atmosphere that makes it easy to settle into for a relaxed dinner. The space has a cute, unique quality to it and the menu covers a wide range of Thai dishes including ramen, curries, noodles, and rice dishes, which gives a table with different preferences plenty of directions to go.

The pad see ew and basil fried rice are both solid orders that cover familiar ground competently. The noodles on the pad see ew have decent wok character and the basil fried rice is well seasoned and aromatic, though neither dish pushed beyond what you would expect from a good neighborhood Thai spot. The mango sticky rice is a satisfying finish and the sticky rice texture is on point, though the mango itself can vary depending on the season. The Thai tea is well made and a natural complement to the spicier dishes on the table.

Across everything we ordered the food was consistently good without being particularly memorable, landing in that comfortable range where you leave satisfied but not necessarily thinking about it the next day. For a weeknight dinner close to home it works well and the portion sizes are reasonable for the price. The menu is large enough that there is probably a higher ceiling to explore on return visits with some of the more distinctive options like the khao soi, tamarind wings, or crispy duck.

Service and pickup accuracy have been inconsistent based on different visits, so dining in tends to produce a smoother experience than ordering out. As a neighborhood Thai option in Needham it fills the gap well enough.“

“So I noticed that Newton has a restaurant called Coconut Cafe, and I thought it would be funny to get a picture of a Lime Bike inside the front door, because “you put the Lime in the Coconut” and all that, so I went over there today, and the place turns out to be pretty nice and I was already feeling like this wouldn’t be a particularly polite (or funny) joke, but anyway the closest Lime Bike I could find was about a block away, and when I tried picking it up to bring it over to Coconut Cafe to maybe get a “put the lime *by* the coconut” photo instead, the bike started talking to me, saying “PLEASE PAY ME A DOLLAR AND YOU CAN RIDE ME! PLEASE PUT ME DOWN OR I WILL CALL THE POLICE! THIS IS YOUR SECOND WARNING, I AM ABOUT TO CALL THE POLICE.” and I decided that this stupid joke wasn’t worth getting arrested for and at that point I was too annoyed to pay the dollar to unlock the bike to ride it a grand total of about 30 feet for a joke photo that the owner of the shop would justifiably get mad at me for anyway, so I left the bike there and just had lunch instead (Bangkok-style veggie pad thai, they told me it would take 15 minutes but then it was ready in about 1.5 minutes, so that was nice) and it was delicious. “Tiny hole in the wall. They primarily do takeout. There are two tables that seat a total of 6 and four chairs for people waiting for their order. The food was pretty good and came quickly. There is NO air conditioning.

Parking: On street parking, but it's free. It's on a heavily travelled street, so you may have a hard time finding a spot.“

I Ordered on grubhub and unknowingly i made a mistake on my order and they called me to clarify if thats what i wanted and fixed the order for me instead of just shipping out to me like most restaurants do. The customer service was enough for me to give them a review but the food also was just as good. Will recommend.“

“By far the best chinese around. They blow away China Town a million times over. Always fresh, always frinedly and never experencied anything but fresh food here. This is the type of place where you know what you pay for is top quality and they are always open. Ming she is so friendly and happy the hospitality here is top notch.
