The swordfish was cooked to perfection with a flavorful blackened crust that added a delightful smoky touch. The jambalaya was a true taste of New Orleans, with a harmonious blend of spices you could differentiate, comes w/ tender shrimp, and savory sausage. Ohhh my gwwaad! The portions were generous, and the presentation was visually appealing. Everything matched well. The service was friendly and attentive, adding to the overall enjoyable dining experience. I highly recommend trying the seared blackened swordfish and jambalaya dish at Joe's. “Food was very good, always is. Very dark atmosphere, music was all base sounding, not easy on the ears. The restaurant is extremely noisy. Wish they would do something to absorb all the noise, but when the bar area takes up that much space it's going to be very noisy. Waitress didn't check in with us until we pushed our plates aside.“

“Amazing, historic, locally-owned Mattapoisett hot spot serving amazing seafood and sushi. Legit, city-level quality with friendly and local staff. It is a must-do experience but be prepared to wait - it is definitely worth it. They have an excellent take out operation as well however.“

“Good Food I was very pleasantly surprised by this inconspicuous little restaurant. It was really hard to decide what to order. There were so many choices-pizza, pasta, seafood, steak, prime rib and some unexpected dishes like lobster ravioli. I had deliciously creamy clam chowder loaded with potatoes and tender clams, perfectly cooked scallops and warm bread pudding loaded with whipped cream. Everything was delicious, and our waitress was attentive and friendly. Prices are quite reasonable. Definitely worth the drive. Thanks“

“Came here every week with my family growing up as a kid and is always a go-to for catering platters but truthfully I realized it had been a few years since we had dined in. Decided upon End Zone last Saturday night and I was SO impressed. The clam chowder is the best in the area, consistently, tasted exactly how I remembered! I ordered the fish tacos and we all know how disappointing they can be if not done well, they have them down to a science they were truly delicious and I’d reorder any day. BF had the Portuguese steak tips, perfection. Thanks guys, we really enjoyed our meals and our server was clearly a veteran, totally experienced and professional. “My photo explains itself. Food so good I couldn’t even leave it alone before I took a few bites! My gf and I went on a nice late night date in the middle of the week to celebrate her new job and this place did everything perfect. Servers were very laid back and relaxed, but accommodating at the same time. Our alcoholic drinks were made perfectly and the food was to die for. We will definitely be back soon and this place deserves more business! I’d give them 6 stars if I could!“

“First time. I had the seafood platter. Really good portion size. The scallops, clams, fish and shrimp were battered and cooked to perfection. All of it tasted really fresh, the scallops and clams had that sweetness that only comes from fresh seafood. Definitely a do over. There were several things on the menu that I would like to try. Many customers seem to be local regulars and I find it to be a friendly place. Every food item I have ordered has been fantastic. Their burgers are very good but their seafood is some of the freshest tasting that I have found in the New Bedford area. Most dishes are served with either fries or tater tots and they are great too.“

“I was out and about last night and was really hungry so I decided to go grab a bite to eat. I thought I haven't been to Kool Kone since I was a teenager and I haven't lived in the area in over 25 years . I was pleasantly surprised with how fresh the food was and how fresh the Cole Slaw was too. I ordered the Seafood Platter with a Large drink ( market value prices ) 37.00 I will say it's very well worth the money. The only thing I didn't like was there was no obvious trash receptacle but luckily a few nice customers said they go outside. Other than that everything was amazing. You do get your monies worth with the prices they charge“

“Security guard and receiving manager were pleasant as i sat here for 6+ hours trying to wait for my reefer to drop to -10 in 90+degree heat! Heads up make sure your reefer trailer is at -10 or colder BEFORE you get here or you will sit outside the gate waiting before even being allowed to back into the door! Business sits on a one way that ends at the water so you can't turn around til you hit the dock. Docks are a little tight but can be negotiated. Really Just make sure that temp is right!“
