“Jen Ju is one of my favorite spots in Newburyport. I love the variety of flavors offered on their menu. My personal favorite is the Taro Milk Tea with Lychee Pearls, but their tea pumps are also worth a try. In addition to their drinks, they also sell various international snacks and cute boba-themed gifts.“

This place has plenty of indoor and outdoor seating, and one single occupancy bathroom. I did not scrutinize the snack case, but the bars and whatnot looked vegan. I wouldn't be surprised if they had vegan ice cream in the ice cream case, but I didn't ask.“

“So much more than Bagels. I love the chicken salad sandwich on a sesame bagel with onion and cucumbers. Or you can go with an egg sandwich, or my second go-to, the Lox bagel with capers, red onion, and tomato. If you are carb conscience, ask for it "scooped" and they will spoon out the bagel so you get mostly crust with what seems like more filling! You can even grill or toast your bagel sandwich in butter or plain and make it crispy. Great place, with great owners, and a good value, win.“

My sister took me there for my birthday and before I knew it the entire restaurant, patrons and staff, were singing Happy Birthday to me. A special place for sure!! “Can't believe I've lived in Andover since 1983 and have never been here. The adventure began with the aroma of chocolate when you walk in - amazing. I did a quick jog through the candy store and vowed to take my granddaughters here during their next visit. Next ordered lunch: chicken BLT which was so fresh. Bacon was crispy and they remembered to not add guacamole. Next came the sundae: their list in-house of flavors that are made on site doesn't match the online list (butter crunch ) but the substituted butter pecan was delicious. My only complaint of the day was that the rich, flavorful butterscotch sauce was room temp and not at all heated. All staff were friendly and attentive. Everything felt nostalgic which was so nice. I'll be back.“

It’s crazy that somehow transparency is being spun as a bad thing in some of these reviews. Any way I could go on and on about the cost of running a small business, but most people don’t care bc they aren’t in the arena. Their primary concern is the extra .45 their croissant costs.We are regulars. We order for our family and our clients. Everything is exceptional. I particularly love the salmon toast, almond croissant, tapos for a quick sweet, any of their counter sandwiches, grain bowl and the chick pea soup! I’m sure my kids have their favorites too. And my husband will eat literally everything there. Heading over this afternoon and hope to grab 2 of the homemade chicken pot pies for family dinner!When my mother reached end of life, their quiches were the only thing she would eat. I would grab a coffee and 2 quiche on the way to hospice and be sure she ate something amazing with me. The hospice staff was not happy with me but that didn’t phase me one bit. “I decided to bring a dozen bagels to work for a party. I'm thankful for order ahead. Also the fact that they open so early when I'm driving by at 6am heading towards 95 is so convenient. The staff were super nice and had my order ready when I arrived. Several people asked where I got the bagels from so I know the taste and quality is top notch. I got almost one of every flavor and had them sliced for convenience. I also did a plain and a garlic and herbs cream cheese. So delicious! Maybe one of the best bagel places in the Merrimack Valley.“
“OK not to be dramatic but I would eat here every single day if I could afford it. I have literally driven here from Swampscott through downtown Salem during rush hour when I am craving an açaí bowl because I refuse to go anywhere else -- like, hands down the best bowls on the north shore. Close second is The Juicery in Salem. SoBol never skimps on anything & everything is soooo fresh and delicious every time, without fail. When I go in, it's usually teenagers working and they are very friendly and positive which I feel is rare these days, they are not sitting on their phones and being rude, they are genuinely customer-oriented and that speaks to the owner of the store and their ability to staff young people in the workforce. The store is always clean and there's always parking. The options for add-ons are more than any other place in the area--shout out to their cookie butter, it's heavenly and I always get extra. I rave about this place and if I didn't work full time and have a business already, I would probably work here LOL. Can't wait until the next time I get a coconut bowl with plant protein blended in, extra goji berries and extra cookie butter!“
