“I want to make some suggestions rather than saying I do or don’t recommend this place. I’m familiar with Pepper’s, and I like to support hard-working chefs, especially when they use local farms and vendors. The overall concept of self-service is fine, but I preferred the table service of the old restaurant. It felt a little more closed in, and I also don’t like the paper plates, cups, and plastic utensils. Real utensils were available, though. The salad choices looked really healthy and colorful, and the menu was certainly varied enough. I saw a frittata being served and it was the size of a half piece of pie, though it looked good. My friends and I opted for soup and grilled cheese sandwiches, thinking they would be more like upscale comfort food. Two of us had the bacon-tomato version, the other had the mushroom. Since they were pre-made, then popped in a convection oven, they were more like melted cheese on dry, light toast, versus the buttery, golden goodness that makes a grilled cheese what its name implies. The portion was small and the fillings meager. If the idea was to make it a healthier grilled cheese, even a drizzle of olive oil might help. The soup was luke-warm, but tasty enough. We shared a dessert bar, which was delicious, with black coffee, which didn’t taste fresh like it had ben sitting a while. Be forewarned that if you pay by credit card, an automatic 15 percent tip is added, though you have the option to change it up or down, if you happen to notice it. There wasn’t much service involved, and you clear your own table. My portion alone, which included the sandwich with chips, a cup of soup, dessert bar, and coffee, plus added tip came to just under twenty dollars. I would give it another shot, but there is room for improvement. We all agreed that the dining experience was at a grade of about C+. Wishing you success in the future... Hope this helps.“

“well i have not been to an applebee's in many years but decided to try....i was pleasantly pleased...ate at the bar and service was friendly and efficient....drinks (theirs, off the menu) were good....pretzels as an app were excellent and both of us enjoyed our meals, we had the big cluck chicken sandwich with a side caesar (which was far larger than i expected) and the cheese burger ( cooked as ordered)...both were very good....inside was pleasant and got pretty busy after a while....liked it!!“

“I order pickle hause deli frequently & every single time the quality is amazing. Salads are nice & fresh, chicken salad is DELICIOUS i almost always have to get a pound of it. And i’ve never had any issues. I typically order through door dash & have never had an issue when customizing my order, and it always arrives exactly the way it should. I’ve seen some reviews say they didn’t receive order correctly and things of that nature, but maybe if you like your order so custom, call ! “I live like an hour and a half away from this restaurant, I was here for a hotel stay, and we(my family and I) went here for dinner, and it was the best food we’ve ever had. My brother had the steak and it had butter on it that was just mouthwatering. My mom had cheese burger sliders and she said that the serving was perfect, and they were just overall delicious. My dad had the ribs, and he said they were the best ribs he’s ever, and each rib had a lot more meat on it than he had expected. Both me and my father had the Cajuns sides(fries/tater tots) and they were perfectly seasoned. Me and my sister had the Mac and cheese, I couldn’t finish it the portion was so big, but my sisters was a smaller portion and it was perfect for her because she finished all but like three bites. Not only was the food delicious but the wait staff was incredible. They were so polite and on top of things, and our drinks were always full. One of the wait staff, I didn’t get her name, had moved around the table to be near my brother when he ordered because he was a little nervous. The food came out very quickly and the atmosphere was incredible, as well as the fact that the place was over all very clean. Honestly the best dining experience I’ve ever had.

Kid-friendliness: My little sister wanted the Mac and cheese, but it only had the adult size, but they gave her a smaller portion for a less price, amazing for her.“

When they driver hadn’t shown up 45 mins after the expected delivery time and the owner of the first pizza shop telling me “it’s not his problem” and hanging up the phone on me.. I called Dean Park in a panic because at this point I had a class of 20 hangry preschoolers that needed to eat and get to sleep. They not only made my 5 pizzas in 15 mins but gave my son a free bag of chips for his birthday!! The pizza was delicious as always but nothing compares to their customer service!! “Went here with my family for dinner on 1-16-2025. Haven't been to a LongHorn Streakhouse, In a few years. The first thing we noticed was that their bread changed. Completely different bread extremely different. The bread from before was like a Dark Rye or Pumpernickel or Somewhat of a Sweet Tea and was absolutely delicious. This bread had little to no flavor and was extremely hard to cut also ( NO BUTTER KNIFE'S) in the entire restaurant. Found that to be quite strange. Our meal was ok. The steaks were quite a bit tougher meat and a little more seasoned than I remembered. However, they were cooked to order. The overall experience was find for my family just lacking those few things. It was not quite the same as it once was from a few years back.“

“the food was great however our waitress was not. the place wasn't busy at all and there were at least 2 other servers. after we finished eating it took over 20 minutes before we saw her again to ask for boxes and ice cream. when she finally came to us it would be another 20 minutes before we finally got tired of waiting and my husband got our own boxes and asked for the check. add more wait time and we decided to go up to the front where the waitress finally decided it was a good time to make our ice creams. we told her to just make them to go. the entire time we were there it was 2 hours! they did however take 25% off our bill so that was nice. I had 2 kids with me so they were getting very antsy as well. overall not a good experience.“

We all ordered something different, Haddock Fish Tacos (there were four) Baked Haddock with Rice Pilaf, Shrimp Scampi with Linguine and Seafood Saute & Angel Hair. This restaurant used to be a staple of ours. In fact, I still say it has one of the best Chicken Parm of any restaurant. In the last few years though, it has consistently been incrementally dropping in satisfaction and has hit the tipping point of causing an update.

It started years ago when they changed from offering a wonderful basket of Greek bread and dipping oil to two rolls and some butter. Then they started playing around with the plating. Sandwiches on bare metal trays, Chicken Parm and Pene on a wooden plate once, ect.

The other day, what should have been a simple Turkey Club came out as a Turkey Sandwich. Turkey Club... white bread, toasted, layered, cut in quarters. Every place in the world knows how to make it. It's beauty is in its simplicity. It doesn't need to be "fancy". My wife got a Steak and Cheese Sandwich. Another dish every corner Pizza Shop can do relatively well. This was way overly cheesed (didn't know that was possible) with cuts of steak instead of shaved. And small cuts like they went out of their way to dice the steak while it was frozen to then thaw and use.

It seems like every time we go in now and every new dish we try we always end up saying, "It would have been great, except....". It's like they got a new chef who wants to try a new fancy thing or fad but forgets the basics of what made the food great to begin with.

I hope them success because as the Manor (now their function side), it was always special when I ate there. Now their "Excepts..." are killing them like a thousand cuts. Get back to your roots, get the basics right, and please, put a French Dip Sandwich on your menu.“
