I was there with 10 friends, and Critical Mass Rock Band was absolutely rocking the house. Overall, it's an awesome place with unbelievably delicious burgers!“

Reservations are recommended and the place was full within the first hour of operation. It can be a little noisy, but that's to be expected for an restaurant that is as popular as Romaine's. “I want to make some suggestions rather than saying I do or don’t recommend this place. I’m familiar with Pepper’s, and I like to support hard-working chefs, especially when they use local farms and vendors. The overall concept of self-service is fine, but I preferred the table service of the old restaurant. It felt a little more closed in, and I also don’t like the paper plates, cups, and plastic utensils. Real utensils were available, though. The salad choices looked really healthy and colorful, and the menu was certainly varied enough. I saw a frittata being served and it was the size of a half piece of pie, though it looked good. My friends and I opted for soup and grilled cheese sandwiches, thinking they would be more like upscale comfort food. Two of us had the bacon-tomato version, the other had the mushroom. Since they were pre-made, then popped in a convection oven, they were more like melted cheese on dry, light toast, versus the buttery, golden goodness that makes a grilled cheese what its name implies. The portion was small and the fillings meager. If the idea was to make it a healthier grilled cheese, even a drizzle of olive oil might help. The soup was luke-warm, but tasty enough. We shared a dessert bar, which was delicious, with black coffee, which didn’t taste fresh like it had ben sitting a while. Be forewarned that if you pay by credit card, an automatic 15 percent tip is added, though you have the option to change it up or down, if you happen to notice it. There wasn’t much service involved, and you clear your own table. My portion alone, which included the sandwich with chips, a cup of soup, dessert bar, and coffee, plus added tip came to just under twenty dollars. I would give it another shot, but there is room for improvement. We all agreed that the dining experience was at a grade of about C+. Wishing you success in the future... Hope this helps.“

“I took my bestie here tonight and had the ABSOLUTE best time!!! The food was amazing (we both use the gluten free menu!!!) the atmosphere was so wonderful and the service was just so beyond!!! Amara was truly one of the BEST servers I’ve ever had-so very kind and attentive and helpful with making everything so perfect and then I believe her name was Camille-came to let us stay longer allowing our wonderful Amara to go home-something I thought was just so very thoughtful & kind-our family has been in the food industry for years and these ladies along with the manager were among the very best I’ve ever had the pleasure of being served by!!! 100% will be back and I give this my highest recommendation!!!“

I got the 2 Way Combo with fried clams and haddock. It was Outstanding!! Usually with fried food at other places I take two bites and I’m done….Nope not today!! The Food, the Service and the atmosphere was PERFECT!! I mean when the owner says can I get you an extra tartar sauce for the table and he brings the whole bottle?? “We brought three generations to Special Teas to fulfill my mother’s wish to have tea with her daughters and granddaughter. It was a lovely way to spend a fall afternoon. The service was fantastic and staff were very attentive. The variety in teas allowed everyone in our group the opportunity to experience unique tea flavors. “well i have not been to an applebee's in many years but decided to try....i was pleasantly pleased...ate at the bar and service was friendly and efficient....drinks (theirs, off the menu) were good....pretzels as an app were excellent and both of us enjoyed our meals, we had the big cluck chicken sandwich with a side caesar (which was far larger than i expected) and the cheese burger ( cooked as ordered)...both were very good....inside was pleasant and got pretty busy after a while....liked it!!“

“I just wanted to give a huge shoutout to a place we all know and love… Dean Park Pizza!! 🍕 I had ordered pizza from another shop in town for my son’s birthday party at school today because they had the option for delivery. When they driver hadn’t shown up 45 mins after the expected delivery time and the owner of the first pizza shop telling me “it’s not his problem” and hanging up the phone on me.. I called Dean Park in a panic because at this point I had a class of 20 hangry preschoolers that needed to eat and get to sleep. They not only made my 5 pizzas in 15 mins but gave my son a free bag of chips for his birthday!! The pizza was delicious as always but nothing compares to their customer service!! Completely different bread extremely different. The bread from before was like a Dark Rye or Pumpernickel or Somewhat of a Sweet Tea and was absolutely delicious. This bread had little to no flavor and was extremely hard to cut also ( NO BUTTER KNIFE'S) in the entire restaurant. Found that to be quite strange. Our meal was ok. The steaks were quite a bit tougher meat and a little more seasoned than I remembered. However, they were cooked to order. The overall experience was find for my family just lacking those few things. It was not quite the same as it once was from a few years back.“

“the food was great however our waitress was not. the place wasn't busy at all and there were at least 2 other servers. after we finished eating it took over 20 minutes before we saw her again to ask for boxes and ice cream. when she finally came to us it would be another 20 minutes before we finally got tired of waiting and my husband got our own boxes and asked for the check. add more wait time and we decided to go up to the front where the waitress finally decided it was a good time to make our ice creams. we told her to just make them to go. the entire time we were there it was 2 hours! they did however take 25% off our bill so that was nice. I had 2 kids with me so they were getting very antsy as well. overall not a good experience.“

“Visited Oli’s Italian Eatery today Sunday October 20th, 2024 with sister-in-laws and a cousin. Arrived for noon, seated in back, the restaurant was clean and spotless. We all ordered something different, Haddock Fish Tacos (there were four) Baked Haddock with Rice Pilaf, Shrimp Scampi with Linguine and Seafood Saute & Angel Hair.
