“I’m visiting from Illinois. Pizza King was recommended by a staff member at The DoubleTree. The restaurant was easy to find and the staff at Pizza King were friendly and very helpful. I ordered the Healthy Pizza. It was ready in 15 minutes, tasted great, and it was reasonably priced!!! I would definitely recommend this pizza shop and I would stop again the next time I was in town.“

“Our waitress was very pleasant and observant; offered refills, checked in with us often, and packed our extra food for us. The menu had a great selection and the food itself was hot and flavorful. The interior of the restaurant had a contemporary, clean, classic an artistic feel. Music was jazzy and classic as well and went great with the meal. Overall, great menu items and kind atmosphere!“

“I love the 50/50. Every time my husband brings me to his hometown, we have to stop there. Not your normal egg place. The menu has surprising options such as homemade corn beef hash and eggs , stuffed French toast. I went for an omelette stuffed with chili and cheese. Back home we called that a stretch. Hard to find on a menu. It is a great diner full of friendly locals. It was Memorial Day and they were closing early. However when 2 veterans arrived at closing, they seated them. I thought that was very respectful.“

“Mike’s pizza was an obvious choice when staying for a couple days at Great Wolf Lodge. It was less than 10 minutes from the facility, had an easy online order option, and was a fraction of the inflated-resort pricing at the park. Our large order, right before close, was executed to perfection. The owner met me at the counter, and had a pleasant conversation about the history of his shop, and how long he’d been operating out of that building. The atmosphere was great, and I would absolutely go back if we come to town again.
The food was spectacular and the portions were phenomenal. We had a couple specialty pizzas, a couple orders of boneless chicken, and jalapeño poppers. Everything was great when we first got it, and was just as good cold the next morning when we finished the leftovers we had.“

“Out of towner here visiting for a long weekend. Ordered a small cheese pizza and small margarita pizza. Both delicious and well worth the price some reviewers are griping about. I ordered online and my food was ready when expected. The gentleman working the front (presumably the owner?) was also very kind to my daughter and I. I'd absolutely come back here again. 10/10“

“I just had the meatball sandwich and potato salad. Honest review....the meatballs are AMAZING, the bread was very fresh and delicious. Very messy to eat but worth every napkin used!! The potato salad had a bit more mayo than I like but it had a nice flavor and was really good. The price is very reasonable for the portion size and quality of food.“

“I'm a Midwesterner up in Massachusetts for work, so I've consumed my fair amount of Chicken Bacon Ranch pizzas. I am very very glad to say that Athens Pizza & Grill absolutely did it justice. “I want to make some suggestions rather than saying I do or don’t recommend this place. I’m familiar with Pepper’s, and I like to support hard-working chefs, especially when they use local farms and vendors. The overall concept of self-service is fine, but I preferred the table service of the old restaurant. It felt a little more closed in, and I also don’t like the paper plates, cups, and plastic utensils. Real utensils were available, though. The salad choices looked really healthy and colorful, and the menu was certainly varied enough. I saw a frittata being served and it was the size of a half piece of pie, though it looked good. My friends and I opted for soup and grilled cheese sandwiches, thinking they would be more like upscale comfort food. Two of us had the bacon-tomato version, the other had the mushroom. Since they were pre-made, then popped in a convection oven, they were more like melted cheese on dry, light toast, versus the buttery, golden goodness that makes a grilled cheese what its name implies. The portion was small and the fillings meager. If the idea was to make it a healthier grilled cheese, even a drizzle of olive oil might help. The soup was luke-warm, but tasty enough. We shared a dessert bar, which was delicious, with black coffee, which didn’t taste fresh like it had ben sitting a while. Be forewarned that if you pay by credit card, an automatic 15 percent tip is added, though you have the option to change it up or down, if you happen to notice it. There wasn’t much service involved, and you clear your own table. My portion alone, which included the sandwich with chips, a cup of soup, dessert bar, and coffee, plus added tip came to just under twenty dollars. I would give it another shot, but there is room for improvement. We all agreed that the dining experience was at a grade of about C+. Wishing you success in the future... Hope this helps.“

“I get lunch here a few times a week as I work close by. I only have a 30 min lunch so I always order through the app and use the super convenient curbside pickup. I never have an issue with my food or service. Today my lettuce in my salad was pretty rotten. I called to let them know so they could toss what they had left and wouldn’t have any other complaints. Manager offered to refund my money and I said no. Not a big deal. 10 minutes later the manger was at my work dropping off coupon cards for me! What incredible service! She is the manager and she is running food for curbside, answering phones, AND driving to peoples work to make orders right?!?!? Someone give this woman a raise! And everyone reading this please be nice to your food service workers. They are feeding us during a global pandemic. Thank you!“
