“We visited from out of state and felt so welcomed by the staff here. The Gal was working alone but still talked with us the entire time while she flipped dough by hand and made pizzas, calzones and subs. The calzones were huge and so delicious! Our Air bnb wasn’t ready for a couple of hours so she was nice enough to let us keep our luggage behind the counter so we didn’t have to it around. We will definitely be going back!“

“Luigi the GM is a very GM/ human and his team is friendly , fast and very good . This is a great store , with fresh , quick , great subs . Also a charitable , good company chain . “Haven't been to this place in years but, boy sm I glad I did. Got a steak onion and cheese sub at 8 AM, because I could order that at what would be other shops " Breakfast only" time. Nice soft roll ,steak NOT chopped to oblivious gravel like other shops. This spot IS the spot for a steak and cheese . I'm gonna go back and try all the ol standards again done right. Kudos. Can't wait to try a simple hit dog. Believe it or not, people screw that up . But according to the reviews I've seen, they're done just right. It's really nice to know that these non pretentecious simply good food places still do exist.“

“One of the best sub sandwiches you will ever have.
Service is fast. Food is great quality. You get a great value here. The subs are about 50% larger than most other places nearby and it is about a dollar cheaper. There is not much room to eat and the stools are very wobbly. That does not matter much since almost all the customers are grab and go.

Very well constructed sandwich, only thing I will say is … it’s a greasy sandwich the bottom bread was very greasy while eating. Best Italian ever, most delicious meatball sub, The bread was soft but with enough perfect crust making steak bomb the one I've searched for but never found since Keyser's closed so many years ago. “My wife brought me home a Teriyaki Chicken sub from Charleys. I never heard of this place but my wife was out with her girlfriend. When I tell you it was one of the most delicious subs I have ever had (and I am in my 50s). It was a good sized (medium) sub with great flavor and two sliced pickles inside with lots of cheese. I definitely have to try the Cheese steak next. Kudos to this place for taking common sub sandwiches to a much higher level.“

“Went on a Sunday lunch. Got the traditional 1/4lb of pastrami, was quite good. Don't think pastrami can get much better. If you want NYC delicassen flavor, ask to reduce whatever salty sauce they put in. Overall worth it given downtown Boston (13$), plus you don't have to tip.

Tonight, we ordered subs and sat down to eat them. We didn't realize it, but it got late. We left at 9:15pm. The place closed at 9pm. They did not rush us out. Instead, they allowed us to eat and relax. As soon as we left, the table was wiped, lights shut and door locked. Thank you Subway for providing a great customer service experience. That's rare nowadays.“

“This place is excellent! How lucky am I to work so close to this shipping container. The bread is always so fresh and the sandwiches are scooby doo and shaggy sized large. I really wish they would come up with a rewards or point system for employees at the design center who come here almost daily. It’s for sure burning a hole in my pocket and I know that’s 100% my problem but a free sandwich after say maybe 10 purchased sandwiches would make a lot of sense in my opinion.“

“Charlie’s Philly Steaks has gained a new fan. Honestly I’ve been to this place a few times and every time they have gotten better. Not only did I get a solid Philly BBQ Steak Sub I also got loaded fries for FREE. The Sub was delish and the heat of peppers and the sweetness of the BBQ made the sub taste like Heaven .
