“I wish I could give this restaurant 6 starts! My bf and I went to cape cod for a week long work trip and we’re not able to find many good restaurants to eat at - that is until we found this one. The entire experience was PHENOMENAL. The host was so kind and sat us for our res early. Our server Taylor L was so kind, knowledgeable, cheerful and positive. So helpful and on top of everything. The food was all delicious and so fresh! Will be back again next time we’re on the cape!!“
“I planned a trip to the vineyard last July for 20 people. We went to the Barn Bowl & Bistro one evening for dinner and bowling. We reserved three lanes, which was perfect -- plenty of room for bowling and food. I was nervous about ordering food for such a large group, but the staff did an amazing job. All the orders were correct and the food came out quickly. The staff was exceptionally friendly and professional and even offered to take a photo of our group, which was no easy task.“

It made our return to a beloved island just that much more special!Vegetarian options: Though we are primarily pescatarian, the people dining next to us requested a vegetarian option and the kitchen and staff was wonderfully accommodating. The vegetables in the dishes we ordered were delicious and I loved the “island greens pancake” which was flavorful and added a nice dimension to the entree. A great evening all around!“
“We really enjoy visiting Offshore Ale Company when we are on the Vineyard. We love its warm, casual and inviting atmosphere. The vegan options aren’t extensive, but there are enough. This time we had a great pizza which they veganized by leaving off the cheese. This is one of our favorite places.“
“This review is based on our experience having dinner in November 2023.The Sweet Life was a truly surprise, an amazing hidden gem in Oak Bluffs, MV. The kitchen is audacious, their dishes show a genuine desire to take risks and whoever is in charge is delivering.Portions are correct, enough. Every ingredient has a purpose, each one has its moment in the journey. The grilled octopus resembles an interpretation of the Spanish dish pulpo a la gallega. The ricotta cavatelli is like if you were eating pasta with a hint of key lime pie. The anchovies in the mafalde, shout here we are!, but just at the right moment. And then, at the very end, you think all is over, the chocolate budino blows your head off.The service is attentive, simple, gracious. The ambiance, just like you'd expect from a place like this in MV. There's a disconnection with the 3-star menu and the rest of the place (not a complaint! is more like a compliment). You don't need the up-scale snobby set-up to deliver a fantastic experience.“

“Our family's go-to spot for a quick, filling meal. Winston's has great value (huge portions), great variety (always interesting rotating specials) and great service (consistently friendly). They have accommodated us with large breakfast sandwich orders, and they've made our day with fresh baked goods. They are efficient in the kitchen and have our order turned around quickly consistently, and their wide menu caters to large groups who have different tastes. A must-try and an unbeatable location too.“
“The service was fantastic. I do not remember the lady's name that helped us but she was great! She was working the cashier and was very helpful and a kind human being. One of the girls on the team left their grilled cheese there and someone from pie in the sky brought the grilled cheese to the boat we were on and gave It to us. “We really enjoyed our food here! We came during the busy season in August, but that was no issue. We made reservations well in advance. The food was good, fresh. They also had gluten free cake, which was fantastic. I also appreciated they had multiple gluten free desserts and they also had all gluten free options labels throughout the menu. “Visited Martha’s Vineyard in summer of 2022 and this place was so good! My favourite spot on the island. We tried various different lobster rolls all over MV but this was our favourite. Chunks of lobster meat! I dream of it.Would love to visit again soon.“
“Delightful small lunch spot right on Main Street. Service is always amazing, everyone that works there is friendly and helpful. The food is delicious with lots of interesting selections, some of the best sandwiches around. There are lots of great vegetarian options and always new daily specials to try. I love that the restaurant serves everything in compostable containers, there are only two bins for waste - recycling and compostables.Vegetarian options: There are lots of good vegetarian options, and sandwiches like the Mother Clucker can be made with tofu instead of chicken. The falafel wrap, The Devine, is amazing.“
“Came here in a cold and rainy night. Rockfish made up for everything. It has 50% taco night. Did not sound as exciting initially. But oh, the food is sooo good! We had cod taco, Cajun shrimp taco, and lobster taco. All strongly recommended. Everything deserves a 5 star. The house special margaritas are super good too. Even without the 50% off still 5 stars.“
“YUM. I loves me a good breakfast. This little diner serves up a breakfast that satisfies those morning hunger pangs. I ordered the classic breakfast of fluffy pancakes, savory sausage links, eggs over easy and real home fries - not those stringy things - I'm talking real chunks of potatoes. The pancakes were light and fluffy. The sausage was juicy and perfectly cooked and the eggs were perfectly cooked. I wonder if the corned beef hash is home made? We will definitely return.“

We were not sure if we were supposed to seat ourselves or wait. We wandered into the game room then back to the bar side before being seated.Facility- One room is a small dive bar with bar seating and tables. The adjoining room is a game room with pool tables and some games. The restrooms are located between the rooms.What we got:STUFFED QUAHOG $8 - it was Tasty(Chopped clam, linguica, ritz cracker with drawn butter and lemon wedge) I made mine spicy. Spicy was still very mildLOBSTER BISQUE$13/cup- left something to be desiredCRUNCHY COD FISH AND CHIPS $22-(Deep fried cod fillet battered in cornflakes and almonds, served french fries and coleslaw.) Service is excellent too, Kamila was very welcoming and giving us detailed explanations about how she makes all the mixers for her cocktails from scratch. “A very good place to eat in Falmouth. For years it had been the go to restaurant in West Falmouth. I give it 4s rather than 5s on food and atmosphere. While the food is good the selection is not very deep and the prices are on the high end. The atmosphere has always been cozy but the noise level can inhibit conversation, particilarly on the often busy summer evenings.“
“The best! Celebrated my birthday here. Got a late dinner reservation and had cocktails and a bunch of appetizers with my sis and cousin. Crab rolls to due for! Charred cabbage a must. Lamb meatballs yummy! Street corn, house fries, shrimp! On the nearby table someone ordered the bouillabaisse which looked spectacular. Will have the next time I'm there for sure. A must visit in MV.“
