“We had a very delicious dinner here when we were visiting and staying in Salem. The atmosphere was great and I have to give a big shout out to our waitress Rachel, who was a total sweetheart and very accommodating, as well as Tori, who took over as our waitress when Rachel's shift was over. This is the best place to eat in Salem and highly recommend it to anyone who loves seafood! Thank you again Turners!!“

“I used this place for lunch on a weekday. My husband and I enjoyed raw oysters, pizza, and tacos. We tried three different kinds of raw oysters, and all of them were fresh, flavorful, and excellent.

There was a mistake with the bill, but when we asked them to check it, the staff responded right away, so I rated the service a 5.

Being able to enjoy delicious food while looking out at the ocean made it a great memory. I think the atmosphere would feel different again in the evening or at night.“

“We love the landing; the staff is very knowledgeable and friendly. The food is always fresh, creative and served hot and in a timely manner no matter how busy the restaurant becomes. And...Robert Simonelli seems to be always there making sure every patron is satisfied and happy and all is well. That's very important that the boss cares enough to be there checking on things, be seen by the patrons and show he cares.“

“Been going here since the late 70’s. One of the best roast beef seafood restaurants on the north shore. I moved from Peabody to Florida in 2018 and wish we had a roast beef seafood place that was even half as good. I still visit Peabody once a year and this is always on my list of places to go. Food is still great. Yes it may not be the cheapest but you get what you pay for and I think they are fair, everywhere prices have increased, I would rather pay a little more and keep the quality. Love this place.“

“The service was very good and the food was overall enjoyable. The atmosphere in the back room could use some improvement, but it didn't take away too much from the experience. We especially loved the oyster appetizer special—everything else was great as well, with the exception of the duck special, which was much too sweet for our taste. Overall, we had a good experience and would definitely come back.“

“I have no problem making the statement for all to read...This is the best pizza I ever had. I decided to get a steak sub today and it was the best sub I ever had. “My girls and I attempted to eat at the Salem retreat on our first morning of our trip. We waited 20 minutes for a table after watching 7-10 people be seat AFTER we were given a buzzer to wait. We left and came to Dotty & Rays. We got a table as soon as we walked in, had water brought over immediately, drink and food orders promptly taken. The food was fantastic. We had one part of our order missing and once they realized the issue, it was remedied with speed and courtesy. Everyone was very friendly and renewed our experience in Salem. We enjoyed it some much we came back this morning. This is the place to come to a good meal and pleasant experience to start your day. Come to Dotty and Rays!“

“Hit this place for lunch on a midweek April afternoon and found it almost empty. The waitstaff was fine, and the fish and chips were delicious and hot. (The local haddock is always tasty) My friend said her tuna melt was good but not great. Nice water view.“

“We just had our (late) Valentine's dinner here. It was such a great night. Food was delicious (I had scallops and my husband had fried clams) but the best part was the service! Alberto was the best server we have had since going to this location. I would go back just to see him again. Also the manager on duty (i did not get her name and im sorry) was so attentive. The homemade pastas that you bite into and your teeth feel that little firmness,😃, the flavors that your palate starts taking on, your brain instantly wants MORE! As you savor (and possibly moan a bit to loud lol) the incredible flavors of something as simple as carbonara, w/prosciutto, red onions & Romano cheese. Every visit, including take-out has been 💯% spot on! Mentioning take out, we recently dined outside, and watched the grubbers (grub hub) mad dashes in and out multiple times! We recognized at least 3 drivers, non stop pickup and drop orders, repeatedly! Thank you so much Little Store for your incredible hard work (when no one wants to work and think they should get everything free🤬🤬🤬) You are what America is built on! From the front of the house to last dish washed, you are all a generous team, so it appears from the outside. Great Job! P.S.Your freshness is duly noted!!! There are desserts, lemon mascarpone 🍰 cheesecake (can’t remember if it’s cake or cheesecake…red, red, wine..) Just stupid delicious at the end of a fantastic meal!! “The best trifecta! Food, beverages, service. We always sit at the bar and they have such a nice line of beers on tap. The wine pour is solid and the cocktails appear to be the number one seller.
I’ve had several menu items, but always swing back to their Caesar with swordfish. The others are very good; salmon with vegetables, cod cheeks, steak & cheese, eggplant Parmesan, chicken wings, potato skins, deviled eggs pretty much everything was really good. Busy place during dinner hour, but we usually go early like 3:30-4pm and always get a seat at the bar.“

“I went there last night for my first time to enjoy some Nigerian food and it turned out to be a private event comedy show however I was able to purchase tickets and sit at the bar and I felt very comfortable and I say that because I was the only Caucasian in there lol but the atmosphere was friendly fun and the cook was very accommodating considering I had shown up later in the night I would definitely recommend this place and I hope it survives and thrives. Thank you for a great night after a series of unfortunate events.“

“We like the Serenitee Group Restaurants, including 15 Walnut. The menu has been changed since our last visit, and we found two delicious entrees - the special Steak au Poivre, which was perfectly plated and prepared, and the green curry spiced Roasted Salmon, which was imaginatively seasoned and perfectly cooked. The casual setting is conducive to easy conversation, and the sports screens are unobtrusive., but allow sports fans to keep track of the action. We'll return!“

It was superb and I will definitely be back but I was disappointed they didn't include gravy for my double order of mashed. I will be specific next time. I gotta try the prime rib too, I never had a bad steak there.“
