“The best restaurant for non tourist food on the Outer Cape“

“We tried The Canteen for the first time on this trip, and it was a massive hit. The star of the show was the Connecticut-style lobster roll—served warm with butter, it was easily the best one we had in P-Town. Even better, it’s a total bargain at just $30. Fantastic food and a great stop with seating on the beach. We will definitely be back!“

“Was there today for lunch and had such an amazing experience! We were seated upstairs on the deck and Pav was our server. He was so pleasant, knowledgeable and just really nice, he definitely made our experience great.

We had the colossal shrimp, mussels, lobster bisque and linguine with pesto and everything was so delicious. And the colossal shrimp were exactly as Pav said, amazing!!

He was also very charming and even though it was busy he still spent plenty of time with us and made sure we had everything we needed. The view and the vibe are great too.

Overall probably the best experience we had in Provincetown and we went to quite a few places over the weekend. Definitely recommend and we will be back!“

“We’ve been coming to Provincetown for years and have walked by Central Station countless times, but somehow never stopped in—until now! We’re so glad we finally did. The food was excellent! We had the bourbon sirloin tips, scallops piccata, and seafood scampi, and everyone absolutely loved their meal. Great food, great experience, and definitely a place we’ll be coming back to. The recommendation for a pairing wine was perfect, and also went well with the chocolate mousse cake. But the music pumping out in the background was annoying, putting out the same endless beat and androidal vocals, taking away some of the pleasure of our meal.“

The restaurant serves breakfast sandwiches all day, pizza, a variety of other sandwiches as well as ice cream and related refreshing sweet! The area is clean and neat, well maintained and owners are on premises. A very friendly place to stop to refresh.“

We were warmly greeted by a friendly bar keep, seated by a welcoming, accommodating host and our server was knowledgeable, helpful and friendly as well. The food, THE FOOD... AMAZING! Best coconut shrimp EVER! Delicious grilled chicken sandwich with the best sweet potato fries I've ever had. My husband had the Alley Club sandwich with handcut fries and he raved about all of it! Don't walk by this wonderful spot... it's well worth your time and hard earned money.“

“My husband and I went to Moby’s tonight for our first time as we are down the cape celebrating our 35th wedding anniversary. When we walked in we were a little overwhelmed with what to order and a very friendly employee approached us and asked if she could help. So informative and sweet! Our food was out of this world. New staff still learning the ropes, which is understandable, but at least a dozen other sandwiches got made for people ordering •after• us before we got our four. Hope this process improves considerably in the next few weeks...“

Waitress forgot about us a few times but the place was pretty busy and all the staff has augustitis. Its august and theyre tired.
All the windows have opaque curtains. For a restraunt on the ocean it was odd.
Id certainly reccomend going there and intend to go again sometime next week. See you all there“
