“Having dined at Basil Restaurant last night, I must say the ambiance was top-notch. The dim lighting and cozy seating made for a pleasant atmosphere. However, the service was a bit slow, as it took quite some time for our food to arrive. Nonetheless, when the dishes finally made their way to our table, they were delicious. I particularly enjoyed the basil-infused pasta, which was bursting with flavor. The prices were reasonable considering the quality of the food, but I do wish the portions were a tad larger. Overall, Basil Restaurant offers a decent dining experience with room for improvement in service efficiency.“

“Had a great dinner with family on my birthday! The restaurant was packed with happy diners and the staff was extra accommodating as we waited a few mins for our table to be cleared and reset. “I'll admit it -- we are those people. The ones who weren't going to go out on Valentine's Day until we decided we were. And it turns out we weren't the only ones. The place is frequented by regulars for sure with a bar on one side and a slightly more formal sit down dining room on the other. When we arrived we waited for about 10 minutes and were seated at a high top near the bar area. During this time another couple got frustrated with the single waitress to be seen after she dropped off some food to them. This couple was not empathetic at all and then expressed that to the waitress in a condescending tone on what was probably one of the busiest nights there. The same woman was our waitress and it was clear she was running around from dining room to bar room without a single moment to catch her breath. She did great! Obviously the kitchen was swamped too but we knew to adjust our expectations accordingly for timing. Food was delicious, incredible value. Calamari was a generous portion and could definitely be a small family appetizer on its own. My husband commented that you will not find a steak for less than $35 in the area and I think this one was $25 or so? Truffle fries were excellent. I got the bolognese and it was comforting and a big portion. We'll definitely come back on a less busy night but overall it was a good experience!“

She came and asked again can she get me something different I explain to her why Im willing to keep it . As I just came back from a mission in South Africa. And saw some many people without food. And it breaks my heart to waste food. She understood my feeling and allow me to take the food to give to a homeless person. Then, Dami convinced me to get a different pasta dish name Fettuccine alla Bolognese. This was so good and I was very happy that she convince me to try it. ?? So my sister enjoyed Arancini ball dish with pink vodka sauce which was amazing. We both will order this next time we come. My sister main dish was salmon with a creamy rice sauce and artichokes. She said it was good. After eating all this...We decided on cannolis and tiramisu as our dessert. Then, Dami the manger came out with a big dessert platter. That surprised us with cannolis had a delicious creamy inside, and tiramisu was delicious. Which is one of my favorite dessert. She also add a slice of cheesecake with a blueberry sauce. Yummy Yummy! “Went on the weekend for brunch. Called ahead for reservations. When we arrived, most of the tables had reservation signs. Filled up as we were there. They have a good size bar as overflow seating but no bartender on duty, just regular wait staff. Reservations are a good idea.The Corned Beef Hash Benny was great. You get a choice of English Muffins or Hash Browns. I got it on the Hash Browns. It's different but delicious. The odd thing is that you get home fries, too. Potato everywhere. Maybe with Hash Browns, you could have a non-potato side?Parking: They don't have their own parking lot. But if you look on their website, they show at least 3 parking lots very close by that allow Brickhouse Cafe customers to park for free.“

It has a homey feel to it. The gentleman sat us very quickly and we were greeted immediately. Water was served with warm bread and garlic oil to start, which is one of my favorite things here. My fiancé ordered the Tagliatelle con Salsiccia e Pollo. It's one of my favorite dishes, I only wish it came with more of that pasta! This time I tried the Pollo Mediterranean. The chicken and eggplant was great with the ricotta. I wish the pasta was tossed in the sauce as it was a little bland on its own but better once mixed in.
