“I recommend anything but the calzones. I’ve ordered food a bunch of times from Franco’s, a few times in person and 3 times via Grubhub. All 3 times I ordered through Grubhub I chose a calzone. The first time the calzone was cooked fantastically, but the last 2 times it was raw dough in the middle where the folds are. The last time I ordered a calzone which happened to be raw in the middle I just threw it away because I didn’t have time to make a complaint. I ordered another calzone tonight hoping it was just a fluke (New cook? Just super busy and overlooked? Whatever, we all make mistakes NBD) since everything else in my order was perfect. When it arrived I checked the calzone and it was raw again. I made the decision to call the restaurant to let them know and to see if I could send it back for something different. The man on the phone told me I was wrong and that he cooked it himself and it wasn’t raw because “he checked”. I told him it most certainly was raw and that I was hoping for an exchange. He said he couldn’t do anything for me and I’d have to call Grubhub about that. He said I’d have to go in person to exchange it. I said “okay fine I guess I’ll call Grubhub” and then he said something I couldn’t understand and hung up on me. I’m really disappointed. I frequent Franco’s for karaoke and spend money at the bar and restaurant often enough to expect a fair exchange and some decent customer service when I need it. I asked for his help and he offered me nothing. Order anything else but the calzones unless you like your dough to be raw, I guess? I HIGHLY recommend the jalapeño poppers though. They’re always perfect and a surprisingly good size.“

“Roger's Pub is on the Babson College campus so it's a small out of the way place that I think you will like. The food is a step above your everyday pub food. The staff is great and it's a really great place to hold a catered event. Check it out. You will be surprised.“

“Went out for suppa Friday night.Sat at bar and we had our beers and menu within a few minutes.Our cocktail server was named Emily.She was very friendly and energetic.We ordered the fresh cut buffalo chicken tenders.They were juicy, tender and pulled apart easily.Just enough heat to tickle ur tongue ,but not too hot to produce beads of sweat on your forehead.The Onion soup had lots of sweet onions, giving it a thick consistency and had two large croutons topped with Irish cheddar cheese. $7 dollars for this crock of soup,it was delicious.For entree ,I got beer battered fish.The haddock came out as a whole fillet.The batter was golden brown with a nice thin crust.The fish had a great flavor and flaky texture definitely fresh.It was so good.Came with coleslaw and a huge pile of fries.I saw a couple of pizzas come by me and they looked tempting for next visit.So over all it was a delicious suppa , service was excellent and the newly renovated place looks great.If you like to support your local neighborhood family run restaurants ,I would highly recommend! “When my uncle passed away, he left clear instructions that he did NOT want a traditional memorial service. He wanted his friends to get together and have beers. Joe and the other owners COULD NOT have been more accommodating. They helped every step of the way through this challenging time. They are incredible people, and I could not be happier with how the event turned out. I will be a lifelong supporter of Distraction, as will every single person who attended that evening. I can not thank them enough.“

“Cook in Needham is my favorite place for brunch every weekend. Dinner and Lunch here are also fantastic. The food is outstanding but what it makes more special is the service and kindness from the staff. Johnny is the absolute best and he has always taken great care of us and remembered us. “Looking for dinner options along Moody Street and this was an easy choice. I've been to Dallas and had a fun evening in their Deep Ellum neighborhood so why would I skip the opportunity to try it again.

Lots of options here, considering we have meat eaters, pescatarians and kosher eaters in the group tonight. We started off with a plate of their pickles and they were fabulous. With it, beers! Including a draft German beer for me and a tin of a non-alcoholic for Mrs. K.

For main, I chose the Italian sandwich and it was fabulous. Well loaded and very tasty if perhaps a little messy. But that's what napkins are for. Mrs. K. chose the grilled cheese and said it was excellent.

Great service here and we had a fabulous evening. Five stars!“

“Hogan has made Napper Tandy, Roslindale, a very community friendly place, from his friendly, witty banter to adding atmosphere with special lighting and with flowers adorning the bar.
Morgana, one of the mixologists, is very talented creating interesting and fun cocktails.
I feel like Norm from Cheers when I go to Napper because they remember my special cocktail and don’t even ask what I’m drinking.

“My wife and I live close by and really love this place. Great food (including delicious daily specials), a very nice rotating selection of draft beers, and reasonably priced mocktails. The kitchen closes late, which is also a big plus. What we most love, however, is the atmosphere. The staff has always been very welcoming and nice to us. In fact, we had to evacuate our building quite late after a fire broke out a few weeks ago and they kindly offered to shelter us until we found somewhere to spend the night. No wonder why we keep coming back :)“

“This is our local establishment, and we have been here regularly. The food is consistently good with ample portions. Enjoyable soundtrack 1960s. Most recently, we arrived at 6:15, didn't get the menu or water for 20 minutes (there was only one other table dining). But the place was freezing - everyone in the place was wearing coats, one woman wore mittens between bites!“

“Third time here and it’s an absolute gem. The burger is consistently delicious and the beer selection is excellent.
Their service is on point and here’s why:

Brian M our server was on top of it on a busy Saturday night, quick and attentive, I noticed the price of my Buffalo Trace was different on the printed menu from the online menu, I didn’t mind the price difference bc I was happy to pay it (it was a great old fashioned) but after I pointed out the price difference…he thanked me for letting them know and comped my drink! It wasn’t necessary at all but I really appreciate that kind of response.
Secondly, I ordered the fish and chips, which is the best fish and chips I’ve ever had (shout out to the kitchen staff!) But the fish portion was a little small. I’m assuming the manager clocked it, came over and said that’s a small piece of fish let me get you another one. She came out with a piece of fish twice the size. That’s good service!
It’s cozy, quality and exactly what you want on a cold night or a hot day. Good people, great food and drinks. Thank you Publick House !“

“Had breakfast here. The building architecture blew my mind. Thick old fashioned adornments round the interior doors were astonishing. Booths seemed to have come from a prohibition era bar. Chandeliers with soft lighting complimented the atmosphere. Can only imagine the feels come night time. Food was good, walked up to the window & told them so before leaving. If you're into Bloody Mary's, their house mix was nothing to write home about. Plenty of parking available & if you feel unsafe to drive, rent a room at the lovely Seacoast Inn across the street.

He was very knowledgeable about my allergy. Through a little bit of small talk with Brandon, we shared with him a situation that we were going through. Tavern in the Square in Burlington and Brandon went so far above and beyond for my husband and myself when they didn’t have to. I have not stopped telling people the story of the most thoughtful and kind people we have ever had the pleasure to cross paths with.
