“Great food and great service! I even got gluten free chicken parm and spaghetti which was excellent! They have a wonderful food and drink menu. Our server Jess was was excellent as well. The manager Nick greeted us when we came in and found us a great table by the window. So the bottom line is, this is a great restaurant and I'm so happy we found this little gem! We will be back!”

“I have lived in the Boston-esque area for twelve years and have eaten so many good meals, but the fish tacos here are the only meal I needed to have before my upcoming move out west(ern MA). Cocktails are fun and creative, service is 13/10, the XL portions of fries that require to-go boxes are the only fries I’ve ever found to reheat well, and if you’re lucky, Steve will be tending bar. I love going at the slightly quieter times but I’ll never gatekeep the euphoria experienced by a meal here. Bonus perks: Max & Chelsea have the best senses of humor, the murals on the patio are always amazing, the beer and wine selection are vast (also the mocktails!), and the decor always feels like your favorite “I Spy” book.”

“My husband and I love coming to banh mi cafe, it’s one of our neighborhood go-to’s. It’s especially great to pick up a banh mi for a little picnic across the street, or by the library, which is advised bc they only have three counter seats.

Everyone here at banh mi cafe is efficient and welcoming, so service is quick. You can easily order at the kiosk if you’re feeling antisocial, the the staff are open to answering questions too. I usually go with the standard deli meat sandwich which is phenomenal. I tried their bbq pork and their lemongrass tofu last night. Both were super tasty, but I’m always nostalgic for a traditional banh mi personally. However, the lemongrass tofu was honestly a sleeper hit. It’s really flavorful and has such a nice contrasting texture against their French bread. Highly recommend it here! Their fresh rolls are also fantastic—extremely crisp, I think they add chive in it? It’s great, whatever it is lol. I will say, in the dozens of times I’ve been, they have only sold out of bread once after 6/6:30pm, but when I tell you I was absolutely devastated…so get there early if you can!”

There was an event on this day, but this did not affect the service time, there were a lot of people and i want to say thank you to Dmitry, sorry if i misspelled your name, this is a waiter in a black shirt who helped me with the choice from the menu, especially with dessert it was delicious, very good service! I will definitely return to you. Thanks to the owner of this restaurant for such staff I will recommend this restaurant to everyone!”

“The quality of the food was pretty good. The House Lo Mein with hand-pulled noodles was tasty (not very different from chow fun I’ve had elsewhere, though, in both flavor and composition). General Gao’s chicken was small pieces of white meat, which I appreciated versus the poor-quality bits rolled into balls of batter you usually get. And the vegetarian dumplings came with a delicious dipping sauce. But these 3 items, delivered, cost me $50. $50?! For two takeout entrees and an appetizer?”

“Been coming here for yrs. but a first trimester morning where all I craved was cherry jam and feta cheese brought me back here after years of not coming over from Cambridge.

This place has all the comfort foods of Turkey - desserts, jams, olives (BLACK OLIVES YUM), and has some other random European things like Nutella.

Truly my favorite little middle eastern spot and they have fresh simit as well.

“This is the second time in one week my friend and I have chosen this restaurant as our destination for food, drinks, and merriment and we were not disappointed.The staff is a delight, both times we were greeted with a warm smile and they were very knowledgeable recommending dishes and levels of spice. The naan bread is delicious and the appetizers and entrees we ordered were amazing as well bursting with so much flavor. The cocktails were crafted with precision and so much passion from the wonderful bartender. The live music is great! We definitely recommend Chulo restaurant and plan on returning again and again!”

“My local sports bar! So many televisions, so much seating, too! They have cheap beer and free popcorn. They have a seasonal food and cocktail list and their seasonal food specials are some of my favorites! Their korean fried chicken sandwich lives rent free in my head.”

“We came here MULTIPLE times and it’s become our go-to for brunch! A great local mom and pop run diner in Watertown. We had omelets, lattes, breakfast tacos, chilaquiles, etc. and always enjoyed ourselves.
Dining area inside is small but cozy and quaint, perfect for anyone willing to smoosh themselves in during busy hours. Otherwise there’s plenty of outside seating and on a nice day, it’s the best.
We saw the same hard working people every time we went. It’s clear they’re a local spot and well worth investing in.
My favorite part is you see all ages at this diner- newborn babies, high school dates, families, to senior groups chatting over coffee.”

“Finally tried this local legend! We're so glad we did. Got a Sicilian pie - cooked to perfection, fresh ingredients, yummy sauce, cheese, pepperoni, and an amazing crust. This is genuine pizza. The kind that is rare now. The Arancini was delicious too. The best part - how well everything heated the next day - few pizzas are so delicious second day now. They're so thin, charred, dry. This Sicilian pie heated up beautifully on day 2. It's the pizza of many people's childhoods - authentic! And the staff could not be nicer, helpful, friendly. A+”

“I discovered this restaurant by the amazing smell, always a good sign. I did a take out order, with the Mirze Gasemi and Kebob-E-Soltani. Both were very tasty, tender, with a wonderful combination of spices, they came with the rice which was airy and perfectly cooked.

They have only a few tables but they are nicely set up with white table cloths and the atmosphere is of an elevated place but cozy and very comfortable. The noise level is also very low, no loud music, which makes it excellent for carrying out a conversation without having to shout to be heard. We’ll definitely go there to dine out.”

Greeted warmly, seated quickly in a buzzing atmosphere with nice decor. There's a bar, high tops, booths and tables by the windows. We've had Diego A. as our server multiple times and he is fabulous! Plenty of cocktails or beer to choose from - excellent margarita's btw. The food is delish - nice menu of options and if you have a question or special food requirement, it's not a problem at all. Very reasonably priced too. It's definately part of our restaurant rotation when we want a nice dining experience and terrific food. Kudos to the entire management and staff!”

“Oct2022: 4⭐: I would recommend visiting this location if you are shopping in the location. I was in the department store shopping and came across this location. Some of my family members decided to try the specialty drinks. I got tea, they each selected a coffee of some kind. They were happy to receive the drink and enjoyed the beverage. We are on vacation in the area and selected some pastries as well. The personnel were fine during our visit. The drinks and pastries were pretty good too.”

“We order food to go from this place very often and it’s always 10/10! Burritos (have tried chicken, steak and pork) are so good and their birria tacos are some of the best I’ve ever had. Service is always great and they are very friendly!”

“my usual go to starbucks on the weekends although this morning I wasn't very happy with having to wait 10-15 min for my drinks after my food order came out very quickly. the place wasn't even busy! 5 people behind the place and only one person making drinks one person taking orders one person making food orders. the other two walking around aimlessly. the barista making the drinks decided it was a good time to make himself an espresso as he started making my refreshers and when he drank it it dribbled from his mouth all over his shirt so he had to stop what he was doing to go clean up. not even a sorry about the wait after he put my drinks on the bar for pick up. also why are employees parking in the 2-hour customer parking spots, the signage suggests those are for customers only who I going to be there for 2 hours or less. considering it's a very small parking lot for customers I don't think employees should be parking there and taking up the space.”

“We’ve been coming here since the pandemic where we first got take out. The food is always great with good level of Sichuan numbing spice which complements the food flavor. Our favorite dishes are the mapo tofu, twice cooked pork, mala fish, and chengdu spicy chicken. Best to eat in! The owners are very nice and always welcoming. Highly recommend!”
