“I have lived in the Boston-esque area for twelve years and have eaten so many good meals, but the fish tacos here are the only meal I needed to have before my upcoming move out west(ern MA). Cocktails are fun and creative, service is 13/10, the XL portions of fries that require to-go boxes are the only fries I’ve ever found to reheat well, and if you’re lucky, Steve will be tending bar. I love going at the slightly quieter times but I’ll never gatekeep the euphoria experienced by a meal here. Bonus perks: Max & Chelsea have the best senses of humor, the murals on the patio are always amazing, the beer and wine selection are vast (also the mocktails!), and the decor always feels like your favorite “I Spy” book.”

“My husband and I love coming to banh mi cafe, it’s one of our neighborhood go-to’s. It’s especially great to pick up a banh mi for a little picnic across the street, or by the library, which is advised bc they only have three counter seats.

Everyone here at banh mi cafe is efficient and welcoming, so service is quick. You can easily order at the kiosk if you’re feeling antisocial, the the staff are open to answering questions too. I usually go with the standard deli meat sandwich which is phenomenal. I tried their bbq pork and their lemongrass tofu last night. Both were super tasty, but I’m always nostalgic for a traditional banh mi personally. However, the lemongrass tofu was honestly a sleeper hit. It’s really flavorful and has such a nice contrasting texture against their French bread. Highly recommend it here! Their fresh rolls are also fantastic—extremely crisp, I think they add chive in it? It’s great, whatever it is lol. I will say, in the dozens of times I’ve been, they have only sold out of bread once after 6/6:30pm, but when I tell you I was absolutely devastated…so get there early if you can!”

There was an event on this day, but this did not affect the service time, there were a lot of people and i want to say thank you to Dmitry, sorry if i misspelled your name, this is a waiter in a black shirt who helped me with the choice from the menu, especially with dessert it was delicious, very good service! “Great food and great service! I even got gluten free chicken parm and spaghetti which was excellent! They have a wonderful food and drink menu. Our server Jess was was excellent as well. The manager Nick greeted us when we came in and found us a great table by the window. So the bottom line is, this is a great restaurant and I'm so happy we found this little gem! We will be back!”

“Thank you for coming to Arsenal Yards!!! What a nice edition to this family friendly area. My family and I have been pleasantly surprised by Mighty Squirrel and have visited this place many times.

First, I love the ambiance of this place. It’s so big and open. I love their outdoor space. I’ve only been here in the summer, so I’ll be interested to see how they’ll use their space in the wintertime.

Second, the beers and other beverages are so yummy!!! I love that you can get small versions on most of the beers. I also love that they serve coffee and fresh juices. What a treat for any occasion. Their food is pretty good too … especially their fish tacos. They are craveable and better than most taco places!!! I do wish, however, they had some flatbread options. That would really make this place amazinggggg!!!

And last and most importantly, their service is impeccable. They get pretty busy but have always tried to accommodate seating. I also superrrrr appreciate that they are baby/toddler/kid friendly. Like … so patient and no dirty looks. You’d be surprised how many places automatically judge you when they see a stroller pull up. This really makes this place shine and stand out cuz honestly, who needs a a drink with a nice vibe more than moms and dads of kiddos.”

There is a nice positive vibe for the atmosphere, it's quiet but you feel free to talk.
There is plenty of off street parking and if the lot is full, there is on street parking available free of charge. I would definitely have a coffee here again, if I were in the area.”

“Chennai Eats is a hidden gem for anyone craving truly authentic South Indian flavors. The food is consistently fresh and bursting with the kind of taste that instantly transports you back home to India. Their appetizers, especially the idly and vada are spot on. It’s rare to find that level of authenticity for South Indian food here in Boston.

The biryanis are rich, aromatic, and satisfying. I have tried a few varieties so far and can’t wait to get my hands on their Hyderabadi Dum Biryani once it’s back in stock.

Prices are reasonable, though I do wish the portion sizes were a bit more generous. Still, the quality makes it worth every penny. The space itself is cozy with limited seating, so it can get crowded during peak hours.

My only gripe is with their online ordering system. The website estimates 20–30 minutes for pickup, but during busy lunch or dinner hours, it often takes longer once you arrive. I understand the rush, but it would be great if the wait times were updated more accurately to reflect real-time demand.

“I highly recommend Greg’s restaurant. My best friend from high school Nikki who 41 and I who 41 love to go here . We go frequently. Our favorite. Nikki is in love with the summer picnic salad and literally gets it every single time we go. She knows she likes it so she goes with it kind of like Sheldon on the Big Bang theory. I love this salmon dinner , salmon bowl , grilled chicken dinner , Their veggie burger , the crunchy Chinese chicken salad and both quinoa salads . We went last night and Nikki had piece of strawberry shortcake. It was huge and so good she said . They are noted for their desserts. Bear desserts and meals around! Nikki also loves their clam chowder. Last night dining down in the pub section where we love to go we had the sweetest waitress Britney who said she remembers us cause we go a lot. We’ve had another young lady waitress with glasses couple tones who’s sweet too and a young handsome male waiter who’s awesome too. Greg’s makes best pickles too. Greg’s great place to get a great meal and dessert! We go to the East providence location on Pawtucket Ave.”

“This is the second time in one week my friend and I have chosen this restaurant as our destination for food, drinks, and merriment and we were not disappointed.The staff is a delight, both times we were greeted with a warm smile and they were very knowledgeable recommending dishes and levels of spice. I swung by with a friend for Sunday afternoon football, and we had a fantastic experience. The atmosphere was very cozy and perfect for football: not too loud at all, and there were plenty of TVs showing the Pats game & RedZone to be easily viewed from any seats in the joint. The fellow patrons were delightful to hang out with for a few hours, very fun and there were many regulars. The service was fast, friendly, and made us feel like regulars on our first visit.

Prices were extremely reasonable. The food surpassed expectations (especially the fries, they're as good as they look in everyone's pictures)! There was also a great draft beer selection, and the bartender absolutely nailed it serving in chilled glasses.

“Atmosphere here is great! I go every weekend to this location after rowing on the Charles. The atmosphere is wonderful and the staff are very kind! The boba tea is delicious- I recommend the grapefruit green tea or milk tea which are both refreshing. The grapefruit green tea is especially perfectly sweet! I recommend the N3. Spicy Hot Oil Seared Noodles. This was one of the best hand pulled noodles I've had. 11/10.

The Kung Pao Chicken came with either white rice or fried rice and a soup (we chose egg drop soup). There were more veggies than shrimp, and although the shrimp was good the veggies were a bit hard.

Regardless, definitely a great authentic restaurant for hand pulled noodles.”

“Finally tried this local legend! We're so glad we did. Got a Sicilian pie - cooked to perfection, fresh ingredients, yummy sauce, cheese, pepperoni, and an amazing crust. This is genuine pizza. The kind that is rare now. The Arancini was delicious too. The best part - how well everything heated the next day - few pizzas are so delicious second day now. They're so thin, charred, dry. This Sicilian pie heated up beautifully on day 2. It's the pizza of many people's childhoods - authentic! And the staff could not be nicer, helpful, friendly. A+”

It is greek style pizza (cooked in pan with a lip and the cheese is a little different)with a nice crunchy side of the crust. But not too crispy. Counter service was prompt and professional. I imagine most of their business is to go cuz they only have a few seats but we ate in and although it wasn't the Taj mahal it was more than adequate. I am definitely going to get a pizza from them again and I may have it delivered to my house 😁”

Kebabs _looked_ 10/10 but tasted 6/10. Texture / tenderness / quality was 10/10. But felt underseasoned, not as flavorful as I'd hoped.

On the plus side though, I wasn't parched later at night (which means the kebabs weren't doused with salt/sodium, which explains the lack of flavor). So - healthy but somewhat flavorless?”

Came back to my favorite Chinese restaurant. We ordered our usuals: West Lake beef soup, bok choy, and Yang Chow fried rice. But this time, we tried the sizzling steak with black pepper sauce. The steak was super tender, but the sauce was bland. We also ordered the double-cooked pork. This was good but not what I expected. It wasn't made of pork belly and scallions. The sauce was bland and it was not spicy and mostly cabbage. The prices had gone up, and the portions seemed smaller, although the service remains good.

Joyful Garden Chinese restaurant is indeed joyful! We were seated quickly with a pot of tea. Service was friendly, and food came out rather promptly. We started with West Lake beef soup and it was amazing! Light and delicious, I must say it’s my favorite soup.
Then, we shared an order of salt and pepper shrimp and calamari, bok choy, and Yang chow fried rice; everything was delicious! But the highlight was the pan-fried flounder; I just couldn’t get enough of it, just quite pricey for $40.95 market price. Plenty of parking and a much better option than going to Boston. I can’t wait to go back!”
