“A little off the beaten path - that is, on a side street off of Main - is this small unprepossessing eatery. But what a pleasant find! Terrific falafels, gyros, baba ganoush, hummus, kabobs, and more - all delicious and served in a friendly welcoming manner. The proprietors are Syrian and they give these popular dishes a different - but good! - twist. For desserts, they have baklava of course, but also try their Syrian harissa (yes, harissa - not the chili paste, but in Syria it's the name of a semolina and rose water-scented syrup dessert). I had their gyro plate and it was very tasty; my wife's falafel pita wrap was equally good - nice fluffy and crisp falafels and a smoky baba ganoush; and my daughter really enjoyed the chicken kabob wrap. We'll definitely be back!”

“Great atmosphere, great food, and great service! Emmanuel was an absolute treat! Tuesday “Date Night” special is a screaming good deal too. Appetizer, 2 salads, 2 entrees, dessert, AND a bottle of wine, $85 total! I was prepared for $85 each! Oh and there was a gentleman playing piano and fugal horn!!! 5 stars”

“This is a quaint and friendly coffee and breakfast shop with freshly made food, coffee, lattes, and other drinks along with pastries omelets and more. It appears to have many local regulars. My pesto omelet loaded with vegetables was so good but I had to take half home it was so large. There was not a crumb left by my friend of his French toast with strawberries and whip cream which was totally devoured by him!”
“Amazing pizza and other fun stuff. Plus it's one of the few 100% vegan places in the area. Need to sign up for emails to make sure you know when they are doing pop ups and such. Highly recommend!!”

“This sleepy college town housed a surprisingly numerous Chinese restaurant scene, among other Asian cuisines. This appeared to be the pick of the lot, offering authentic Northern-style items including noodles. The option to order a tofu stir-fry seemed appealing, and indeed several options were clearly marked as vegetarian and vegan. However, the signature dish is a fresh sort of noodle distinctive to the region, and I was seduced by the distinctively springy texture and fresh flavor. It took around fifteen minutes to make those noodles, and while I was on a schedule, it was worth waiting for fresh food.”

“This cozy cafe has a great selection of pastries and savory dishes - plus great coffee and tea. My non-vegan daughter and friend loved it as much as I did. Highly recommended.”

“I've been a regular customer at the Williamsburg General Store since I was at least six years old. The food they make and sell there is still as wonderful as ever. Their breads, their wrapples, their ice cream, everything. No doubt the Majerciks have still got it!”

“Fantastic food and lovely people! Recommendation: play traditional Syrian music and put a couple more things on the walls to provide some atmosphere and conviviality. Highest ratings for food and service. The quality is superb.”

“I got a small pizza back in October of 2022 and didn't like the violife shreds on it as I felt it tasted kind of gummy like but today I got a calzone with the cashew cheese and its delicious and tastes just like ricotta! if you get pizza or a calzone i reccomend the cashew cheese as it tastes better imo than the processed kind. Also want to try their cashew sauce in the future when I do a cheese less pizza for next time. The mushrooms in my calzone are amazing and it almost tastes exactly like a calzone I used to eat before I was vegan. It was really nice today to be able to go back and eat something like from my past. Also the sunshine greens juice was delicious too.”

“Great food but should be called the Tuesday through Saturday operation. I wanted a hamburger on Monday and felt misled by the “daily” bit because it’s not a daily operation, it’s a 5 day operation and not a normal work week even. Helpus autistic people out. Also, could do better with seating and guidance because it’s a chore finding a place to sit with your party. Needs a host/est/zer to manage tables and seating.”

“Not gonna lie. When I first stopped here I thought it was the little house in the front. I was pleasantly surprised when I saw the building in the back. We had a delicious breakfast that was very fresh. Staff we very friendly and it's a cozy sport to sit and enjoy some food.”

“Wonderful ambience, great staff, surprisingly reasonable prices for the experience. Cocktails are next level; great selection of craft beers. I rarely go out to eat these days because things are so expensive & simultaneously mediocre/subpar in the post-COVID restaurant industry all over rural and semirural New England. This is hands-down the best ROI I’ve found in all of the Northeast, outside of Boston & NYC; stopped in by accident when Iya Sushi was unexpectedly closed. Just a beautiful place with decent portions of outstanding deliciousness at a sane price & a seemingly cool crew working there.Whoever manage/design this place know what they’re doing & offer a remarkable old school experience that middle class people don’t often get in 2024. ?”

“Our favorite restaurant in the region. The fried chicken is classic. The lamb shoulder was perfect. Their quality is consistent. We so glad the owner-employees have sustained the quality so well. We took a chef in our family there - he raved over it. We'll be back!”
“I love this neighborhood bar. The staff and owners are wonderful. I've met many wonderful people there. Their weds night winter meals are delicious and you can't beat the price. Prime rib is best I've had to date.”

“I stop by here a lot on my way to and from work. The staff are super friendly and the pizza is delicious. Pizza is sold by the slice and the slices are huge! The price is good, too. My favorite is the pepperoni. They also heat the slices for you. The inside is very cute as well.”

“Authentic Italian local eatery! Highly recommend if in town. The pizza was cooked to crispy thin crust perfection and the generous toppings were impressive! Huge bang for your buck! Stayed busy with a 5-15 wait but well worth it! Great atmosphere and staff! I will be going back next time I'm craving some good food and am near!”
“Love this place! Came here for Pride today!!! Great, hilarious staff who I love to talk to and yummy drinks (coffee and otherwise). Would love to hang out here all the time (can I?)!!!!!”

“First time there and we really enjoyed it. This is not a full table service place as you order at the counter and they bring it to the table. The food was delicious and the staff was very friendly. It is a little small inside but nicely set up. We look forward to going back!Parking: There were plenty of spots on the street.”
“Struggled for 20 minutes walking around trying to find this place! Once you get to the street, you have to walk down stairs into an alley. There will be no signs, but go into the door that's open (hopefully it's always propped open. The other two doors are locked.) Then go down the hallway to your left and violá, you've made it! (The door will have "Little Trúc" stamped on it.)You definitely still get basement vibes, but the food is delicious! Flavors you don't find elsewhere, and a preparation that feels like love went into it. Worth going at LEAST once. The menu changes weekly, but it seems like there are some staples that do have longevity. Rough start, but it ended well!”

“There is no other place to order a lobster roll including Ogunquit! The scallops are to die for and the fish tacos are a lot of food for a lower price. For those who don't like seafood, I hear their chicken sandwiches are the best!”

“The food is wonderful here, and reasonably priced considering that it is top quality, unusual, so well and freshly prepared, so thoughtfully plated and served. I had fried oysters as an appetizer and the venison as a main. We shared a caesar salad. He had the blackened fish and an appetizer of cod and lobster on toasted brioche. It was all very good (I liked my dishes better). The servers were really good too, extremely attentive and kind. The pace of the place was nice- relaxed but not a big lag time between ordering and eating. If you don't mind a loud restaurant, then by all means check this place out; it's great! I told the server that I was not happy about the noise and she seemed to understand, and I did not feel sorry to mention it. That kind of atmosphere is not for everyone, and certainly not for someone who does not drink alcohol, and also has sensitive hearing. We discovered that speaking in low tones helped us to communicate through the noise, but it could not neutralize the bombastic cheer of our fellow diners, a few of whom were gifted and prolific orators.”
