“Fridays at weston provisions has been an enjoyable weekly ritual for me the past 4-5 months.My go to used to be the hot fried chicken sandwich. Past 2 months the changes to the sandwich have not been ideal unfortunately. What was once a thick crispy delicious piece of chicken has regressed to a thin slice drenched in sauce making the bun soggy before even your first bite.Overall the place is great with many great options but the devolution of my favorite sandwich in Weston has been disappointing.“

“Food was delicious! Wife and I love stopping here when we are nearby. Morad, the manager, was polite and greeted us as we entered. Food was hot and fresh! Offered us some combos to give us the best value for what we ordered.Parking: 5-6 parking spots right in front of the door and plenty more around the sides too. Never had an issue finding a parking spot which is always nice.“

“The prepared items from Judith's Kitchen are some of the healthiest and most delicious foods you will find anywhere and at such reasonable prices!! We are from out of state, but will return each time we are back to see my surgeon. The salmon burger, the black bean burger, the coleslaw, the potato salad, the lentil soup, the roasted vegetables, and literally everything else are just fabulous!!! The owners are precious people and treat us with such warmth. I can't recommend this restaurant more highly. I just wish they would relocate to upstate New York!“

“A good North Shore-style roast beef sandwich on a toasted, sesame seed bun (Big Martys?), not soggy, thinly sliced. Ask for double horseradish sauce (or anything you want). Not fancy, an old-school hole in the wall, just quick and good. Limited seating, easy parking in front (small strip mall). Used to work nearby, and this was a regular for lunch. Stopped by recently and it's still the same.“

“I came in here because I was in the neighborhood. I was in the need for a quick breakfast sandwich. I got a croissaint, bacon, scrambled egg and swiss cheese and let me tell you the sandwich did not disappoint. I also had the marshmallow New England coffee flavor a suggestion by the staff who must be Mara who was very friendly and happy :) They have plenty of seating and a large selection of sandwiches. I would definitely stop here again!“

“The 2 dudes behind the counter were working so freaking hard to get orders out. I felt so bad, made me want to apron up and help! They had a good number of tickets, people walking in, and the other customers were getting annoyed, maybe not verbally, but the symphony of sighs spoke volumes. Get them more help, cause they definitely needed atleast one more person. I'm a General Manager and it was lowkey upsetting to watch them get wrecked like that.Foods always amazing!!! “We got there at close to closing, as we had been shopping all day and needed supper. I had told my bf how great Papa Ginos was and if it's open we need to go. (We are from Canada, but Papa Ginos has always been a stop in my visits)The lady working was soo friendly and turned out a pizza quickly. Crust was amazing, as was the sauce. Went in not knowing what the hell I wanted or why I even bothered stopping by to purchasing his go sandwich which I highly recommend asking for. We will back because of the quality of service and professionalism.“

“The subs are really good. The bread is soft baked. We got the steak and cheese, grilled chicken, and the Mediterranean with falafel in it. The highlight for me was the cinnamon bun though. It was one of the best cinnamon buns I've ever had store bought. Soft baked, nothing crispy or dry, generous amount of frosting. Could use more cinnamon sugar mix, but still, the best.“

“Really a great pizza. I’m a New Yorker living in Wisconsin for many years so when I get an opportunity to eat old style NY style pizza I take it. This little takeout place had the literal mom and pop in the back. The crust was perfect, just the right amount of sauce and cheese. Salad was fresh. And all in less than 15 minutes. Try this pizza if you’re craving NY style thin crust.“

“Stopped by here to grab some sandwiches to go for my son and myself on a busy, activity packed Saturday.We got an Italian and a Roast Beef and Turkey on heroes. Very generous portions, packed with fresh crispy lettuce, tomatoes and onions. Nice pickles and hot peppers too, upon request.Very satisfying sandwich.There were 3 families seated enjoying sandwiches and the sandwiches all looked delicious. The pastrami also smelled delicious. I have to go back there to try it next time. :)“

“There was a version of the Lake that had a much different flavor 30 years ago. It was an Italian enclave, with a history that is very much different than the rest of Newton. Nonantum, or "The Lake," was the village with the oldest synagogue. It was right down the street from a Catholic church that, in my opinion, has an interior that has made me cry over the sheer artistic splendor of it.Tradition still plays a large part in this changing neighborhood, and it is finely displayed in this small sub shop on Watertown St. Like the old days, food prices were lower and food portions were a bit larger, and Guiseppe's does not try and overwhelm the customer with grandiose decor or expensive decorations, they are here to make you a sandwich or a salad.My honest recommendation is to go to Guiseppe's, and learn a little about the duality of this wonderful neighborhood. Sample the simpler part of the Lake and remember to leave a nice cash tip, because you're getting a lot of value out of the hard work of the owners!“

“I honestly can’t recommend this place anymore. They have a frequent customer punch card which once completed grants you a free sandwich. I went and redeemed my card and purchased 2 bags of chips and a Diet Coke. When I get to work I check my account and he charged me $11.77. I assume he forgot to give me my free sandwich and go back. He then goes on to tell me that the bags of chips are $2.50 each, he charged me another $2.50 because I asked for hot peppers on my sandwich. He then says the 20oz soda is $4.25… I know he arbitrarily made up these prices on the fly as I was obviously a frequent customer and none of this matches up to my previous purchases. If you don’t want people to get a free sandwich don’t have the card.“

“Tiny place. Combo deli/restaurant/store. About 10 tables. Sandra was my waitress and she was lovely. My chicken soup was delicious; it tasted like someone's grandmother made it. I also really enjoyed my chicken salad sandwich. The half sour pickle was great! They have homemade iced tea out of season...it's strong and wonderful.Will absolutely return.“
