“Absolutely the best wonton soup anywhere. Has everything plus more. Broth was superb, loaded with strips of pork, bok choy, snowpeas, carrots, nicely stuffed wonton, Chinese cabbage,.....Atmosphere needs help, building needs repair, but people that work/own there, were great.“

“Everything I’ve had from here is great. The crab rangoons are the best in the area and they have awesome mai tais. The only thing I have disliked are the dumplings isn’t he wonton soup. The noodles are too thick and there’s barely any filling in them.“

“This restaurant is one of our favorites in New Bedford. We have ordered from here for a few years now and they get better every time. Whenever we call they already know our address and deliver so quickly. Their sushi is to die for. We never leave disappointed.“

“Had this place popped up on my FB, and I had to come try their chow mein sandwich. Everything I've heard and read was true. I also had a small order of the beef teriyaki. That had to be, in MY opinion, some of the best I've ever had. I even got a small order to go for my 35 min ride back home. I was met and seated by the owner. She was genuinely a very sweet lady, and she checked on me and made sure everything was fine. The only other interaction I had was with one other female employee/server, and she was fantastic. It's definitely worth a stop in ( which I will do again soon). “Got delivery, was 10 minutes earlier than they said, food was hot, sodas were cold. Beef udon was very tasty, dumplings were good. The wife said her chicken pad Thai was good and she is kind of pucky. Used a coupon for the egg rolls expecting 3 small spring rolls, surprised to see 3 full size tasty egg rolls that were nice and crispy. Will definitely order from here again. The online ordering was great.“

“Asian Gourmet is a small tucked away practically unnoticeable gem in the Tiverton plaza. The food is great, hot and the staff are polite and attentive. We had the chow mein this time- folks think Chow Mein is the same everywhere; not true!Asian Gourmets Sauce or gravy or whatever you wish to call it, is always tasty, doesn't coagulate when cooled and the noodles are fresh.We have had many other dishes- one favorite is the Basil Thai Rice with Shrimp!!!The shrimp are huge,flavorful and the Basil sauce is Amazing! We were served a lot of delicious choices.We both got beef chow mein ( real beef, not subgum).We both had rice, 2 different kinds, and the sticky white rice was half the plate and cooked to my perfection. My partner had the pork fried rice, which was also delicious, not dry & not greasy.The 3rd choice I picked is the best crab ragoon I have ever had, light, crispy, and full off creamy cheese with a little crab ? ?. “Right when you walk in you're greeted. Calm atmosphere. I didn't know what to order but everyone was patient. I ordered Gen. Tso chicken, crab rangoon, garlic scallops. Really good sauce on the Gen Tso chicken. Scallops cooked just right with a good amount of vegetables and sauce. You get plenty of food. Two other people ordered ahead of me and the chef and service was so quick I got my food right after. Not a long wait at all on a Friday evening. I would recommend for anyone looking for old school Chinese food spot. This was my first time there and I plan on making this my regular spot.Vegetarian options: There is a section on the menu, but I'm pretty sure if you wanted only vegetables they can make a dish with only vegetables as everything is made to order.Parking: Parking lot is shared with the liquor store next door. The parking lot is huge and you shouldn't have trouble finding parking.“

My favorite is the pick 3, I usually get 3 main choices and then order a small rangoon on the side. It is a perfect amount of food for two. Decided to try it again, I'm honestly glad I did. The portions vs price are good, the food was fantastic and all around very happy with my last 3 orders! They were extremely pleasant, remembering people who were regulars' orders just by hearing your voice on the phone.When the ownership changed, you'll start to see a shift in the reviews. The old timers like me start becoming negative while people who didn't realize the change never complain. I genuinely believe that this is because the change removed that intimate friendliness the old owners had.That doesn't mean these new owners can't build rapport with us locals, but the old owners had been established as favorites, them being gone hurts a lot of us and I think that's where a lot of negativity comes from.The food is great.
