Likely not other than the first bite blows your mind. Quality over everything else. Great spot, will be back tonight and tomorrow night looking for Sturgill Simpson fans.“

“We stopped in on the way home from the airport, and it was amazing! From the moment we walked in the door, we felt welcomed. The atmosphere and food were awesome. I highly recommend the Mickey’s Chicken special and the red sangria which was a deep dark red- as sangria should be. Yum! My children loved our Irish waitress who Made them laugh and feel special. This restaurant is over an hour from where we live, but there is no doubt we will travel back often. Wonderful experience!“

“Really cool experience, very secretive location and interesting drinks. The staff was very nice, we had a great time. The only thing is the prices are a bit high, every alcoholic drink was $22 which is Ok but I wanted a bit more of a cool feature with my drink for $22. It was really fun, I might go back but the prices were what hurt the most. Would definitely return for that speakeasy experience though.“

Jim the manager went out of his way to check all the little details that make an event special from custom menus to an easel for a sign. The waitstaff was wonderful and accommodating! “I don’t usually make reviews but this place deserves way more business than it seemingly gets right now. The food is amazing, especially for the price.

I did notice a shortage of FOH staff and I felt bad for the ones on shift because they were running around a lot, but still didn’t miss a beat given what they had for support.

I really hope they do trivia or comedy nights, something to draw business and get some help for the FOH staff.

This place has more than enough potential to grow and become a new neighborhood favorite and I really hope it does.“

“I was looking for live music and beverages. Popped in here post 10pm on a Friday night and I have to say it was lit. Not only was the melanin flowing, the band was cot darn top notch!

It’s hard to find live music and this quaint bar rivals Wallys.

“Had breakfast here. The building architecture blew my mind. Thick old fashioned adornments round the interior doors were astonishing. Booths seemed to have come from a prohibition era bar. Chandeliers with soft lighting complimented the atmosphere. Can only imagine the feels come night time. Food was good, walked up to the window & told them so before leaving. If you're into Bloody Mary's, their house mix was nothing to write home about. Plenty of parking available & if you feel unsafe to drive, rent a room at the lovely Seacoast Inn across the street.

“We go to Eastern Standard for a nice leisurely meal after a afternoon Red Sox game. Wait staff is attentive and Johnny on the spot when taking and discussing your order. Food has always been prepared as we like it. Quality, Quantity and presentation prevails. Thanks to the entire staff for making each trip to a game a pleasure win or loose.“

“I took my daughter and her roommate to dinner. We chose the Public House because we wanted to watch the South Carolina versus the North Carolina football game - the ESPN Game Day - the DUKE'S bowl. They helped us find a great table in the back of the bar and we had a close perfect view of the TV!! My daughter had an excellent cheeseburger, I ate the DELICIOUS macaroni and cheese and added the bacon. Our waitress, in her cute Carhardt hat, was so helpful with tips of living in Boston. We just moved our daughter up there.“

“this public House feels like a public home. there is a great community of regular customers who are really nice people. they offer a full bar and food. there is an outdoor area with great ambiance and games. they have a lot of fun weekly activities like karaoke and live music. they also just got in a new pool table with beautiful new cloth and balls. I myself don't actually drink anymore so I don't spend a lot of money when I go there but I am treated like I am important, welcome and wanted. this is a great place to hang out. this is a real review. “Great service, great atmosphere, great locals. Beer and spirit selection perfect for the area. Prices are ideal. Bring your own food in with some good options nearby, they sell rotating chips for $1.50 which is clutch for late night snack. Every employee I ever encountered showed respect and hospitality to their guests. Really isn't a better place in Brighton. The restaurant group has some of the top bars in Boston.

Parking: Easy street parking. 57 bus access. Ubers never a wait.

They were kind enough to take us upon early arrival, but I had to ask for a different table because I didn't want to sit just above where the front door opens. We were seated at the back and the music was too loud for my liking. Our server Sofia was delightful and made our dining experience most pleasant. The food was excellent, but dishes came out all at once and it would have been nice to space things out a bit as I prefer to savor each dish on its own. The other issue was the space is so dark you need a flashlight to read the menu. We weren't the only ones pulling out our phones to get a better look. We had the whipped ricotta, the Brussel sprouts, the octopus and the caesar salad along with a glass of orange wine. If I were to dine again, I would likely sit at the bar and ask to be as far away from the music speakers as possible. There seemed to be more light around the bar area. Being our fist time, we didn't know that. Overall, a special thanks to Sofia for making it a special night!“

“First time at Cityside last night and it was great! The Nachos were so good I wish we had gotten a large, the buffalo wings had a nice crisp to them which made them amazing. For entrees I had the fish tacos which were good but not all that and my fiancé had the cheesesteaks which can’t be compared to cheesesteaks on the North shore but still good. The drinks were good but pretty pricey. My fiancé liked every drunk he got besides the Mai Tai. It was super nice being on the roof top which made the entire night 💕 I definitely would recommend.“

“I love StockYard. We haven't been in a long time as we moved faraway. Now, after 10 years we came back and it was like we never stopped coming to eat here. The food was super delicious. The NY Sirloin, and the tenderness of the Fille Minog was extraordinary. Outstanding customer service. The drinks were superb. Anyway got away from her and had a great time otherwise. Super cool venue, a great view from anywhere really. Super sick I highly recommend just watch out for that chick lmao“
