“Had to make a reservation two months in advance, but happy to report that Tonino was well worth the wait! The interior is lovely—very cozy with classy decorations. The pizza is available for take-out, but the pasta is only available for dine-in, so we tried as many pastas as we could stomach. Unfortunately, the special advertised on the wall wasn't available, so we ended up getting:- Taleggio Cappelletti ($26): This dish only comes with 8 cappelletti, so the portion size is more akin to an appetizer, but this was my favorite of the pastas that we ordered. Rich, cheesy filling with a subtly sweet sauce. Delicious.- Lumache ($26): Second favorite. Very al dente (borderline crunchy; too al dente for my friend, but I liked the bite). Some tangy notes from the creme fraiche. Portion size was better than the taleggio cappelletti, but I wish there were more or larger cuts of mushroom.- Chitarra & Clams ($28): Wouldn't get this again. Very peppery, and the flavor didn't pack a punch like the other two pastas. Chitarra wasn't al dente, and the clams were quite small. Breadcrumbs were good.- Tiramisu ($14): Also available for take-out but had to get it because it's their signature dessert. I was in heaven. The mascarpone was runnier than that of other tiramisus that I've had, but I liked it like that. Very smooth and creamy. Loved the sporadic bits of salt too. There were two servers who waited on us throughout the night. Both were friendly. There's complimentary still or sparkling water, which was a plus. 5% kitchen appreciation fee, which is higher than the usual 3%.Overall, highly recommend this place. I think it is my favorite Italian place in Boston now!“

“Such a unique and special experience and meal. I went in without a reservation and was able to get a seat. Coolest restaurant menu I’ve ever seen, annotated with so much meaning and history behind every ingredient and dish. I ordered two drinks, a main, and a side. Everything was delicious. After eating, I spent some time sipping a drink on the couch/lounge area looking at their books. An immersive cultural experience. I will be back. You can tell this place has so much love and energy behind it.“

“Fun, quality dining at Bar Mezzana where everyone will find something they like. Changing menu of cocktails is always a nice surprise, and enough new dishes to keep things interesting. The cauliflower salad was delicious and had lots going on.“

“So many food options and a lot of space so you can find room to sit even in relatively packed times. Certain restaurants are overpriced but can still find good eats. The parking deck is clutch - if you validate it it's $10 for 3 hrs which is great for that location.“

“Great location in the south end. Parking depends on your persistence and luck, but can be found. Restaurant is lovely but we were seated at back tables which were a little stark. Shrimp mango salad appetizer was nice and citrusy, somewhat plain. Fried spring rolls were 12/10 delicious, and worth the price of admission. I had the Amok Royale which is one of those dishes you can't get anywhere else in the city — but it's very fish-based and you'll either love it or not. Dessert was nice but didn't overwhelm. Service was amazing — friendly, low key, attentive, and welcoming.“

“You can roll a D20 to get a mystery drink, and the concotuons we got were very good but wild. One was the spiciest drink ive ever had. The food here is fantastic, but the plates are small. The restaurant itself is even smaller, so you'll need a reservation to eat.100% would go again.“

“Visiting Boston on business. My group and I went here for lunch and it was stellar. I had the Zuni Roll and I wish I could get another. The onion ring apps were very tasty. The beer selection is pretty good and the staff recommendations were spot on. Staff was great as well and attentive. Highly recommend.“

“Some of the best Thai food I have ever had. The fried chives were so good. The curries were so different and delicious. The shrimp and pomelo salad along with the green papaya was tasty. They have a bar opening soon and I can wait to check it out!Vegetarian options: Quite a few options to make things vegetarian or that are vegetarian.“

“Excellent menu (and preparation) for those who are looking for something beyond typical Italian. Wonderful ambiance and table arrangement. Great place for a romantic dinner or two "best friends" couples; there's a feeling of intimacy about the place. I would not necessarily recommend it for large parties.“

“Picked this gem for our first dinner on a weekend trip to Boston, and it set the bar super high! Absolutely delicious food--super clean and fresh shellfish and fish from the appetizers and soup to our main entrees. A special thank you to our great server Kristen, who made my day with a sweet dessert on the house! Truly a wonderful meal at a wonderful establishment!“

“If I could only get cocktails from one place for the rest of my life, they would be at Farmacia. The seasonal menus mean there are always new and very creative cocktails to try and the 9-seat limit lends itself to fun and interesting conversations with your host and other patrons. Phillip is so welcoming and accommodating and it really adds to the experience. Reservations are hard to come by but are well worth the wait.“

“What a lovely restaurant. The outside is swagger with flowers around the door, very much like cafes in Paris. The food was spectacular. We had oysters and shrimp, shepherd’s pie, beetroot and blood orange salad, homemade tagliatelle bolognese and a spicy lobster pasta dish. Desserts are inventive and delicious. We got a banana sundae, a combination of bananas foster with banana bread and ice cream. The cocktails are beautiful. Different and cool with fun names. There are two bars in a lovely cozy setting of white lights, windows and hardwood floors. Definitely will be back.“

“I came here to celebrate Valentine's day with my husband. Personally speaking, I've not been a big fan of Asian fusion food, but I was delightfully surprised by the food at Myers & Chang. We got one beef udon dish and a braised beef dish, with both turning out very good but both a bit salty - so we had to get one more bowl of rice to top up. Additionally, they were kind enough to let me order a drink from the brunch menu. I would come back!“

“Delicious Peruvian food with expensive Boston prices. Quality over quantity, the portions feel a bit small but everything was very good.Parking is a bit tricky. There's limited street parking and I believe you are allowed to park in the lot by the grocery store. There's no sign saying otherwise. My friend parked there for the hour and a half we were there on a Saturday night and his car was still there.Edit from their website about parking: "There is plenty of street parking on BOTH sides of our street (Adams Street). This includes the area directly in front of the restaurant and across the street on the side of Russo’s Tux. There is additional parking on Garfield Street, just around the corner, as well as Wesley Street which is behind our building. The parking lot next to our building is NOT ours and vehicles will be towed. Please help us respect our neighbors! Please feel free to call the restaurant with any questions."Parking: Street parking, and maybe the lot at the end by the grocery store. Don't park in the one next to the restaurant, that's residential only“

“When visiting a French restaurant expectations are high. The food tends to be exquisite and some dishes are here. The Foie Gras is amazing and so are all the deserts we tried. However the escargot which is something I always try at French restaurants was only ok.The service varies on who your server is as we had friends who came to the restaurant after we sat and we ordered before they even got their menus and yet they had their appetizers first. When looking for someone to call for a refill and even when we wanted the menus for desert, it is very difficult to catch anyone looking at your table as if each waiter will only look at their own table only. On the bright side they brought us water as soon as we sat and refilled it often. That is how I would get someone's attention...finish my water so someone could come by and I could ask for something. The place is very small and you will have to be a party of two and be lucky to get a table without a reservation, which is what happened with our friends..who came in a little after we sat and were hoping they could sit with us, but with such little space it seemed unlikely they would even be able to get a table but as they were asking a table for two was leaving. Its rather on the expensive side which can be understood with the quality of some of the dishes, however I would except everything to be great for these prices. Its a good place with potential to be great.“

“The food here is absolutely amazing and definitely worth the wait. Expect a wait time of 30 minutes to an hour due to its popularity, but it's well worth it. It's a pretty small place but can seat a lot. You can't go wrong with anything on the menu. Personally, I tried the Swing Pork Belly, Yo-In-Style Ramen Noodles, Beef and Enoki Cabbage Soup, and Black Fish Fillet with Szechuan Pickles. The Swing Pork Belly with its incredible garlic sauce and the Beef and Enoki Cabbage Soup with the perfect amount of spice and meat were standouts. If I could dine at Mountain House for every meal, I definitely would.“

“Went here with my friends for the Dinner in the Dark experience. The staff was great. They had great attention to detail. a number of my friends had food allergies, so i was a bit nervous at first but the staff took such great precautions, and the chef made sure to verbally confirm every dish that came out had no allergens. such great customer service. the dishes were good too. very well seasoned. compliments to the chef. A couple of us were celebrating our birthdays, and they took time during dinner to have everyone sing Happy Birthday. Great experience. 10 out of 10 would recommend.“

“Came for the seafood but stayed for the cocktails and chill vibes. We sat at bar so did not get a chance to get familiar with menu or hear about dishes. The oysters were great! Did not like raw clams (too fishy for my taste). Cocktails were suburb. They had a lobster and waffle dish which was so unique and good! Lobster was a bit overcooked but the flavor they had def made up for probably a rare mistake (the lobster in lobster roll was not overcooked and melted in mouth). Brussel sprouts were also phenom and could be a meal in itself.“

“Everything we ordered was excellent, chickpea sticks, dips, pear salad, lobster Campanella, and scallops. Delicious espresso martinis. I think what made our experience the greatest was our waitress EMILY. She loves her job and was so enjoyable to talk to, and gave us great recommendations. We felt lucky to have her. Will definitely be back when in town.“

“I've been several times and I've never been disappointed. There are a few things I would change on the menu if I was in charge, but they execute what they offer very well. Would love to have a bit more vegetarian creativity, but even the plain "cheese enchiladas" are amazing. The ambience both indoors and out (when the weather is good) is great. All in all I think Acitron is an example of a city-class restaurant that happens to be conveniently located here in my town. Lucky to have them.“

“Octopus was fabulous, calamari... not so much. Scallops a La Plancha were delicious, Bolognese - just meh. Server left empty glasses on the table a bit longer than I would have liked and our table was directly inside the door from the bar so it was pretty loud. All in all it was good / fine / what I would expect in Boston at that price point - but not a standout.“

“I rarely leave reviews, but felt I needed to for our first experience at Ithaki. We dined yesterday, which was Greek Easter. It was also my birthday, so no cooking! lol Made a reservation for 4, but at the last minute, my 92 year old mother felt up to joining us - she hasn't been interested in going out much lately, so we spent the morning with her. We were thrilled, and decided to chance it, hoping they could add a fifth to our reservation. It was crazy busy, but the staff really worked hard to accommodate us, and did so in a very timely manner. We were most grateful. The decor is beautiful, the service was impeccable, and the food was superb, even on this very busy day. They even included red eggs! We had a wonderful time and will definitely be back soon.“

“We really loved the food at Stillwater! Started with the biscuits and homemade cheez-its, which were both absolutely fantastic. I had the red beans & rice as my main and the person I was with enjoyed the dumplings- both were great choices. The pb&j crème brûlée was a favorite- wished there was a bit more jam but it was delicious nonetheless. Service was less than stellar though- lack of water refills and it took an incredibly long time to get the check. Overall we had a great time!“

“Stoked is sooo good! I came in for lunch with my sister at opening time, so we were instantly seated at our table. It did start to fill up around 30 minutes later, so we were glad to come in early. For starters, we ordered the brussel sprouts and the gnocchi. There was some kind of mustard/wasabi-like sauce on the brussel sprouts that was really strong and was a tad bit difficult to eat. The brussel sprouts were sautéed really well though. The gnocchi was nice and chewy and the sauce was delish. We also ordered a pizza (forgot to take a picture ) and it was a great ratio of sauce and cheese. Overall, Stoked was an excellent lunch experience, and I will be back!“

“I've been wanting to try Silver Dove since it opened, and it didn't disappoint. The setting is lovely, cozy, and beautifully decorated. Four of us enjoyed the full tea service and two of us had fabulous cocktails. The food is delicious and presented so nicely. Standouts are the scone with strawberry preserves and clotted cream, the smoked salmon with avocado spread on a crispy cracker, and the carrot cake. The owners and servers are friendly and knowledgeable. They helped everyone at our table decide on a tea that we liked. I can't wait to come back again soon. Ooh, I can't forget to mention the excellent pistachio perfiterole and the tasty deviled egg!“

“Wow, just wow. Went to Bully Boy with a crew this afternoon and we had the most delightful time, all due to the lovely and talented Jack (shout-out Jack). Had some delectable cocktails and then went on an awesome tour led by Jack. After hearing his delightful history as a salesman, Jack easily sent us home $200 poorer, but a whole lot richer in spirit. “The food was well presented and very very tasty. This was my sixth visit and it is always been superlative. Bread is delicious. Entrees served with little waiting. Two negatives however: music from the speaker near our corner table was much too loud, making it difficult to converse. Wait staff visits table frequently to pick up dishes, making our mealtime and conversation stressed.“

“After cruising around for parking for nearly 30 mins, the bartender was generous enough to allow me to park in their lot in an illegals spot and not have me towed. I had called and he could hear the stress in my voice since the rest of my party had already been seated. Upon walking in late, he immediately came over and poured me a complimentary glass of one of the most delish glasses of French red wine idea ever had. The food and service was top notch. EVERYONE that worked there was incredibly knowledgeable, nice, and just seemlessly working together to ensure we were taken care of. Hands down one of the best dining experiences I've had in years based on the quality of service and creative dishes. 1,000/10 recommend!“

“Finding myself hungry in South Boston, I Googled vegan near me" and found Lulu Green. Well, one of my cats is named Lulu, so there I went. Little did I know how delicious the food is there. The vegan hot honey "chicken" sandwich was by far the best sandwich I've had in my entire life, so good that I immediately ordered another. Isn't that what one does when one gets the best sandwich ever? If "awesome" weren't so overused a word that it has lost any semblance of its original meaning, I would use it to describe this sandwich. You know how, when you take a bite from some new dish and you get hit with the sensation of something so delicious you just have to sit back in your seat and wish space-time would move more slowly just so you can savor the flavor longer? That's what eating this sandwich was like. It has a pesto ranch dressing and pickles that taste better than any pickles one might reasonably expect to exist in the known universe-- and I don't even particularly like pickles. Seriously, this sandwich will make you throb with ecstasy. Also, anyone who thinks vegan cheese can't be good hasn't tried its pesto pizza. I would also be remiss if I didn't mention the friendly service.“

I can tell from photos that the dine-in plating looks beautiful, and I think even in the take-out boxes you can tell there is lots of care put in. :) I love the pad kee mao, khao pad tomyum, and mango sticky rice. “This is a hidden gem in back bay. The restaurant has a cozy atmosphere from the moment you walk in the door. We ordered the burrata, the risotto, and the tiramisu. While the burrata was good, we wouldn't order it again. However, the risotto was to die for. The short rib was tender and complimented the creamy risotto perfectly. The tiramisu, while not made in house, is a must order for dessert. Furthermore, the service was incredible and everyone was so friendly. My only complaint about the atmosphere would be the noise. The music was turned up very loud and I would wait for the break between songs to truly talk.“

“I frequently go to the Tavern for lunch. The food and service are always outstanding. My favorite sandwich is the blackened chicken. It has a nice bite to it. It's a quaint tavern. Very clean. I want to commend the owner and his staff on how professional they were yesterday with some patrons who could not control their kids. The moms were too busy drinking their wine to pay attention to the kids. The owner approached the table and asked the kids very politely to please sit down as they were very load and disruptive to those nearby. He even offered to move us as we were sitting right next them. When the women left they had their kids bang on the windows and stood by laughing. I work in the restaurant business myself and I was very impressed with the owner and staff as they tried their best to make our experience at the tavern the best that it could be under the circumstances. Thank you for another wonderful lunch!!!“
