“I frequently go to the Tavern for lunch. The food and service are always outstanding. My favorite sandwich is the blackened chicken. It has a nice bite to it. It's a quaint tavern. Very clean. I want to commend the owner and his staff on how professional they were yesterday with some patrons who could not control their kids. The moms were too busy drinking their wine to pay attention to the kids. The owner approached the table and asked the kids very politely to please sit down as they were very load and disruptive to those nearby. He even offered to move us as we were sitting right next them. When the women left they had their kids bang on the windows and stood by laughing. I work in the restaurant business myself and I was very impressed with the owner and staff as they tried their best to make our experience at the tavern the best that it could be under the circumstances. Thank you for another wonderful lunch!!!“

“Had to make a reservation two months in advance, but happy to report that Tonino was well worth the wait! The interior is lovely—very cozy with classy decorations. The pizza is available for take-out, but the pasta is only available for dine-in, so we tried as many pastas as we could stomach. Unfortunately, the special advertised on the wall wasn't available, so we ended up getting:- Taleggio Cappelletti ($26): This dish only comes with 8 cappelletti, so the portion size is more akin to an appetizer, but this was my favorite of the pastas that we ordered. Rich, cheesy filling with a subtly sweet sauce. Delicious.- Lumache ($26): Second favorite. Very al dente (borderline crunchy; too al dente for my friend, but I liked the bite). Some tangy notes from the creme fraiche. Portion size was better than the taleggio cappelletti, but I wish there were more or larger cuts of mushroom.- Chitarra & Clams ($28): Wouldn't get this again. Very peppery, and the flavor didn't pack a punch like the other two pastas. Chitarra wasn't al dente, and the clams were quite small. Breadcrumbs were good.- Tiramisu ($14): Also available for take-out but had to get it because it's their signature dessert. I was in heaven. The mascarpone was runnier than that of other tiramisus that I've had, but I liked it like that. Very smooth and creamy. Loved the sporadic bits of salt too. There were two servers who waited on us throughout the night. Both were friendly. There's complimentary still or sparkling water, which was a plus. 5% kitchen appreciation fee, which is higher than the usual 3%.Overall, highly recommend this place. I think it is my favorite Italian place in Boston now!“

“Great location in the south end. Parking depends on your persistence and luck, but can be found. Restaurant is lovely but we were seated at back tables which were a little stark. Shrimp mango salad appetizer was nice and citrusy, somewhat plain. Fried spring rolls were 12/10 delicious, and worth the price of admission. I had the Amok Royale which is one of those dishes you can't get anywhere else in the city — but it's very fish-based and you'll either love it or not. Dessert was nice but didn't overwhelm. This includes the area directly in front of the restaurant and across the street on the side of Russo’s Tux. There is additional parking on Garfield Street, just around the corner, as well as Wesley Street which is behind our building. “When visiting a French restaurant expectations are high. The food tends to be exquisite and some dishes are here. The Foie Gras is amazing and so are all the deserts we tried. However the escargot which is something I always try at French restaurants was only ok.The service varies on who your server is as we had friends who came to the restaurant after we sat and we ordered before they even got their menus and yet they had their appetizers first. When looking for someone to call for a refill and even when we wanted the menus for desert, it is very difficult to catch anyone looking at your table as if each waiter will only look at their own table only. On the bright side they brought us water as soon as we sat and refilled it often. That is how I would get someone's attention...finish my water so someone could come by and I could ask for something. The place is very small and you will have to be a party of two and be lucky to get a table without a reservation, which is what happened with our friends..who came in a little after we sat and were hoping they could sit with us, but with such little space it seemed unlikely they would even be able to get a table but as they were asking a table for two was leaving. Its rather on the expensive side which can be understood with the quality of some of the dishes, however I would except everything to be great for these prices. Its a good place with potential to be great.“

The brussel sprouts were sautéed really well though. The gnocchi was nice and chewy and the sauce was delish. Their attention to detail with music, cocktails, glassware, knowledge of many things never goes unnoticed and a great amount of cat statues around the room! As well as beautiful murals and Star Wars memorabilia. Can't wait to go back when I lived in Massachusetts I was there way more often! Impeccable service wonderful to watch the bartender move flawlessly they were from Arkansas awesome style! Music was phoenix, say anything, the strokes, Radiohead etc. they also have a special pop up nerd boi Monday? where they have board games, big screen video games and cocktails inspired by all the cool things!“

“In my partner's words: "It became my favorite restaurant in the entire state".I couldn't believe that each one of the small plates we tried (Spanish style tapas) was excellent!! You can't go wrong with anything in that menu. We tried the Local Farm Corn Soup, Uruguayan Style Beef Empanada, Wood Grilled Poussin Chicken, Wild Mushrooms in Escabeche, and the Wood Grilled Pork Sausage. I'm not hyperbolizing when I say this is the best chicken I ever had. ...Cherry on top, cocktails are excellent (try the Fig Infused Bourbon Old Fashioned) and the Alfajores where delicious. ?Give it a try, you won't regret it ?“

“After cruising around for parking for nearly 30 mins, the bartender was generous enough to allow me to park in their lot in an illegals spot and not have me towed. I had called and he could hear the stress in my voice since the rest of my party had already been seated. Upon walking in late, he immediately came over and poured me a complimentary glass of one of the most delish glasses of French red wine idea ever had. The food and service was top notch. EVERYONE that worked there was incredibly knowledgeable, nice, and just seemlessly working together to ensure we were taken care of. Hands down one of the best dining experiences I've had in years based on the quality of service and creative dishes. 1,000/10 recommend!“

“Finding myself hungry in South Boston, I Googled vegan near me" and found Lulu Green. Well, one of my cats is named Lulu, so there I went. Little did I know how delicious the food is there. The vegan hot honey "chicken" sandwich was by far the best sandwich I've had in my entire life, so good that I immediately ordered another. Isn't that what one does when one gets the best sandwich ever? If "awesome" weren't so overused a word that it has lost any semblance of its original meaning, I would use it to describe this sandwich. You know how, when you take a bite from some new dish and you get hit with the sensation of something so delicious you just have to sit back in your seat and wish space-time would move more slowly just so you can savor the flavor longer? That's what eating this sandwich was like. It has a pesto ranch dressing and pickles that taste better than any pickles one might reasonably expect to exist in the known universe-- and I don't even particularly like pickles. Seriously, this sandwich will make you throb with ecstasy. Also, anyone who thinks vegan cheese can't be good hasn't tried its pesto pizza. I would also be remiss if I didn't mention the friendly service.“

“A must visit when in south end, an uptown vibrant cafe in heart of the city, serving delicious food and good drinks! Slightly higher on price, but a decent spot if you want to have that 11pm-12am dinner. The chicken in 20 garlic cloves is the DISH I’D GO BACK FOR A MILLION TIMES. Otherwise the Franklin Burger is also a must try! The bartenders make fire cocktails! Manager Sean endured a very good experience in general, go there alone or with a couple of friends and you’ll have a great time!“

Every time I take a new bite I literally think the words, "This is cooked to perfection" LOL... like the Ratatouille critic... Such a dependable delivery place, I try to order something new each time and every single dish has been delicious! I can tell from photos that the dine-in plating looks beautiful, and I think even in the take-out boxes you can tell there is lots of care put in. :) I love the pad kee mao, khao pad tomyum, and mango sticky rice. The curry puffs and keaw wan gai are also great!“

They had plenty of seating and nice low lighting which was relaxing. I will be recommending Fuki to friends and family for years to come. Hats off to the chef, keep up the good rolling.“

“This is a hidden gem in back bay. The restaurant has a cozy atmosphere from the moment you walk in the door. We ordered the burrata, the risotto, and the tiramisu. While the burrata was good, we wouldn't order it again. However, the risotto was to die for. The short rib was tender and complimented the creamy risotto perfectly. The tiramisu, while not made in house, is a must order for dessert. Furthermore, the service was incredible and everyone was so friendly. My only complaint about the atmosphere would be the noise. The music was turned up very loud and I would wait for the break between songs to truly talk.“
