The sandwiches are like no other sandwiches. The focaccia is home made. The ingredients are fresh, seasonal and locally sourced. It’s not just a sandwich, it’s sandwich art!

There are some rules, such as no eating inside, but they enhance the experience: Davis Sq. is a delightful place to eat outside.

We have yet to eat every item on the menu, but nothing has disappointed so far. Excellent coffee and kombucha are also on offer.“

“We’re from the UK and quite literally never tasted or experienced anything like this place. We ordered the pastrami sub, sausage egg and cheese bagel and a cream cheese bagel. Just get everything on the menu though. The people are so hard working and so friendly, and the food was incredible - so much value for money!! If the shop is full for eat-in, then take it to go and take a short walk to the public garden. They also show the prem games! This was just so good. Thank you so much.“

A few other customers came in to order while I was waiting, and the manager was obviously a bit understaffed but so professional, apologizing for the wait to everyone, and helping to get the orders out as quickly as possible. Nice soft roll ,steak NOT chopped to oblivious gravel like other shops. This spot IS the spot for a steak and cheese . I'm gonna go back and try all the ol standards again done right. Kudos. Can't wait to try a simple hit dog. Believe it or not, people screw that up . But according to the reviews I've seen, they're done just right. It's really nice to know that these non pretentecious simply good food places still do exist.“

My parents were here for my dad’s surgery and we stopped in for sandwiches that we all loved (and mom is PICKY). We ended up coming every day while dad was in the hospital and Nick and Georgia asked us how he was doing and were so kind that we are all seriously going to miss them. They have great sandwiches, smoothies, ice cream, milkshakes, pasta and salads. My favorites were the salmon sandwich and the Code 10 but everything I tried was delicious, made by a family with love.“

I went and redeemed my card and purchased 2 bags of chips and a Diet Coke. When I get to work I check my account and he charged me $11.77. I assume he forgot to give me my free sandwich and go back. He then goes on to tell me that the bags of chips are $2.50 each, he charged me another $2.50 because I asked for hot peppers on my sandwich. He then says the 20oz soda is $4.25… I know he arbitrarily made up these prices on the fly as I was obviously a frequent customer and none of this matches up to my previous purchases. If you don’t want people to get a free sandwich don’t have the card.“

“I got a large chicken pesto sub. I figured for $2 more than the small I’d have a little leftover. I didn’t realize it would be as long as my arm! The bread was fresh with a nice crunch. The sub was so full it was almost bursting and it’s all white meat chicken. Pesto sauce was real tasty too and not over saturated. I feel like you should always get a large since it’s essentially an extra sub for $2 more. My picture is 1/4 of the sub and it looks like half of one I get from other places. I’ll definitely be back!“
