“Easily the best Subway sandwich I've ever had was made at this location on this past Saturday they gave us a deal without even asking for one and the staff members were extremely friendly and didn't even get annoyed or upset when asking for more toppings then they put on the sandwich originally. My main issue with Subway is when the person that makes the sandwich puts way too much sauce whatever the sauce may be on the sandwich at this location I asked for a light amount of sauce and they actually listened to me I would recommend this Subway to anybody that wants a Subway sandwich made right A+ for the team“

“March 12th update:After three years of alleged possible and suffering at the hands of the tyranny that is subway location in this area, I'm returning after 3 verified tries, including one tonight after in Coolidge corner had a live crack head, no longer takes card, rude AF, and was told they should 'close the doors on me' I am updating my review of this location to 5 stars as it seems they do, in fact, give a damn. Today a new employee took my order and despite some language barriers we vibes thru it. No crack on the tables and crackheads (their words) berating customers demanding money and threatening to kill the whole store for a cookie (true story). My only suggestion for this location is to keep it up! If that's not valid, cook the bread a big shorter, it's slightly crispy. Certainly better than both crack and the idea of having a door slammed in your face after arriving too close to close (1 hour and 41 minutes prior). This this location takes card, Coolidge corner location "doesn't know" when they'll take card again, doesn't make promotional items, and just hates themselves and the customer, which is very apparent. Thanks to the young ladies at this location and the new guy and taller man that assisted me the last three times I tried giving this location another shot... Glad I did. Bc they did have a really bad vibe 3 years ago but I had just moved here and it was just bad timing over all. Also, love the store inside!!These folks dont give a damn.“

“This place rocks. The person who took my order was so nice, and the place smells great, is comfortable and clean. Our takeout for breakfast (pancakes and bacon/egg/cheese on everything bagel) was delicious and satisfying, and the bagel was great (way better than I expect for a bagel from a place that's not focused on them).
Overall, a super friendly, down-to-earth place with great food and vibes that helped me get my day off on the right foot!“

“Breakfast sandwich from Shirley, and often a drink and baked good too, are crucial parts of my weekend ritual. Just as important is catching up weekly with owner, Kat, to get her commentary on latest menu items and other exciting things she’s up to - ie guest spotting at neighbor restaurant Urban Hearth! I’ll go out of my way earlier/later in the week to come by if I can’t make it on my usual day. If any sandwiches catch your eye, definitely give it a shot. Truly filling a unique niche - you can get classic italian sandos from Dave’s fresh, coffee shop breakfasts from the usuals, but stop here for something new and always fun!“

“Haven't been to this place in years but, boy sm I glad I did. Got a steak onion and cheese sub at 8 AM, because I could order that at what would be other shops " Breakfast only" time. Nice soft roll ,steak NOT chopped to oblivious gravel like other shops. This spot IS the spot for a steak and cheese . I'm gonna go back and try all the ol standards again done right. Kudos. Can't wait to try a simple hit dog. Believe it or not, people screw that up . But according to the reviews I've seen, they're done just right. It's really nice to know that these non pretentecious simply good food places still do exist.“

“I have been coming to this location for years and the service has always been good and the food has always been fresh and tasty. Today was no exception with my Small Sub, 20oz lemonade, and cup of soup priced under $19 still a great value. Morad and his team are holding down the ship well here and greeting every customer with praise, respect, and gratitude. The restroom was also spotless and fully stocked. The food quality and variety is very high with this company and ordering directly with them will save you fees from the delivery services.
Vegetarian options: Lots of salads and bowls that are already meatless or can be modified to not have meat. Seafood and shellfish options with the lobster rolls and tuna salads for example. Can always ask for grilled veggie sub with bbq sauce.
Dietary restrictions: They can modify any sandwich or salad or bowl to meet your specific needs. Soups are already made. Beverages are bottles/cans and chips/cookies are pre packaged but a variety of nutritional values are available not just the fatty and sugary stuff.
Parking: Plenty of free spaces surrounding restaurant for this and other businesses on the plaza. Some spaces are diagonal, some are parallel, and some are next to the curb.
Kid-friendliness: There is a kids menu you might need to ask for it but they can definitely customize anything for a child.
Wheelchair accessibility: There is a ramp in the front and accessible parking available on the side next to the ramp. The team members are happy to help open the doors if you call them.“

“Mike & Patty’s is a staple in Boston. Everyone is so welcoming and the food is to die for. Don’t try to be healthy and make sure you order the Bfast Grilled Crack with a big cup of coffee. Eat at the counter (only two seats) or take your sandwich outside and stroll the village.“

“I'm a vegetarian so usually don't expect much from sandwiches. The owner Sam introduced their Caprese Panini to me. I didn't eat it until I arrived at home....I almost went back to get a second one right after finishing it!! It was sooo delicious. I went there again a different time but the store was closed. I went again today for the Caprese Panini. My mouth was already watering when holding it...strongly recommended!“

Crispy and delicious fried crispy rolls.
Excellent fresh banh mi.
Spring rolls are fresh.
Venue is insanely dirty, which makes this place the real deal. Hidden gem in Chinatown you don’t want to miss.
No seating so take it and go. It gets busy.“

“We had takeout for breakfast. This is a great location that is convenient to the airport and online ordering was a quick and smooth process. The breakfast sandwiches are excellent. Our only complaint is that we prefer our eggs scrambled but they only serve them over easy. We added a note in the order asking if it was possible to have them scrambled but I guess it’s not. We would go back in a heartbeat if there was the ability to have your eggs cooked the way you prefer but will sadly pass on a second visit. If you are okay with this then you will love this place!“

“Please Cutty's I need the Spicy Chicken sandwich special!! If I was on death row and had a choice for a last meal, that would be it. I swear I check the menu daily just hoping to see that it's on there. Every sandwich is amazing so it's no wonder why Guy from Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives paid this place a visit!“

“The website for this place is admittedly confusing, because they only really highlight their catering options. However, don’t let that stop you from heading to Newton to check this out!
Judith’s is best for lunch. They have an extensive sandwich menu, all of which I’ve tried are delicious. You can choose from their pre-designed suggestions or make your own. They also have a delightful glass case with fresh vegetable and pasta salad options.
If you’re looking for breakfast, you can find it here but the options are much more limited. They have a few pre-made egg-based wraps and sandwiches. The coffee and tea menu is basic, they have lattes and some nicer tea selections but nothing too wild.
They have a nice cookie, chip, and wine selection here. This is right off the highway, so truthfully it’s one of my favorite places to stop when I’m heading on a trip out of Boston and looking for something to eat on the way or a place to meet people if I’m picking anyone up.
Vegetarian options: Lots of vegetarian options! You can do build your own sandwiches, so the options are limitless. They also have vegetable and pasta based salads in their cold case.
Parking: In the morning, it’s easy to find parking but in the afternoon and evening or on weekends it can be a bit tricky. There’s a paid lot diagonally across the street from them and some paid spots in front and around the corner.“

“First, this place is run by some of the nicest people I’ve ever met and I’m dead serious. My parents were here for my dad’s surgery and we stopped in for sandwiches that we all loved (and mom is PICKY). We ended up coming every day while dad was in the hospital and Nick and Georgia asked us how he was doing and were so kind that we are all seriously going to miss them. They have great sandwiches, smoothies, ice cream, milkshakes, pasta and salads. My favorites were the salmon sandwich and the Code 10 but everything I tried was delicious, made by a family with love.“

“In a world of overpriced gimmicky crap this place is an island of hope. Old school goodness served up fast and correct every time. One of the last classics. Best onion rings in the world. Eat in for extreme freshness right out of the fryer or off the grill. Greek salad with chicken and homemade dressing is fire ?“

“I honestly can’t recommend this place anymore. They have a frequent customer punch card which once completed grants you a free sandwich. I went and redeemed my card and purchased 2 bags of chips and a Diet Coke. When I get to work I check my account and he charged me $11.77. I assume he forgot to give me my free sandwich and go back. He then goes on to tell me that the bags of chips are $2.50 each, he charged me another $2.50 because I asked for hot peppers on my sandwich. He then says the 20oz soda is $4.25… I know he arbitrarily made up these prices on the fly as I was obviously a frequent customer and none of this matches up to my previous purchases. If you don’t want people to get a free sandwich don’t have the card.“

“Al's is an institution you simply must go to. Amazing sandwiches and portions for great prices. If you work downtown and haven't been here for lunch, you've made a terrible error.
If you're a hungry tourist looking for lunch, skip quincy market and come get a taste of Boston's authentic sandwich scene. You may even run into the Al, the national treasure himself.
Just a warning, it's potentially the most chaotic restaurant in Boston and if you are going for the first time.... good luck.“

When I arrived, even though the story was busy, they mentioned that my order would be right out, and started working on it alongside other orders. “Great hole in the wall sandwich shop. I got the Parma sandwich as a recommendation from my partner, who insisted we try it after he had it catered to a meeting, and he was right—it was delicious! Prosciutto was tender, tomatoes were flavorful, and the mozzarella was the perfect texture. The staff was friendly and smiled at us as she prepared the sandwiches, which is always an added bonus.“
