Starbucks in Winnipeg

“During our family's two-night visit to Winnipeg, where we used to live, everyone else was busy with the activity that brought us there, so I had some free time to myself. I decided to satisfy my craving for my favourite drink from Starbucks. Google Maps showed this location as the closest one to the Quality Inn & Suites on Pembina Highway, so I enjoyed a walk over to the store.

The staff were quite busy handling both walk-in and drive-through customers, yet they remained efficient and friendly. Service was quick, and my order was prepared exactly as expected.

The visit definitely met my cravings, and I would not hesitate to recommend this location to others.“

“Great experience. Finally a coffee place /food service place that values serving people in person and inside without making the drive through their number one priority. Am so tired of places that put all their attention to the drive though- highly recommend this location- and this is a consistent experience- not a one-off. Full seating, patio and still offering the self serve for the cream/sugar area if your ordering straight coffee or tea.“

“Every morning, I stroll from the Holiday Inn where I'm staying to grab a latte at the nearby Starbucks on Pembina Highway. This particular location has an older charm but exudes a welcoming vibe, complete with a patio for outdoor seating. It tends to get lively, especially with kids, likely due to a nearby school. The staff are fantastic and my morning lattes are consistently spot on.“

“The employees are lovely, and I have never had any issue with my drinks. One reoccurring issue that seems to happen is that my food order is consistently missed. I believe the printer for the food orders is off to the side and not often seen by staff.“

“they always get my orders right and staff is always very kind, except one time i showed up at 9:10pm, and they close at 9. i did not know this at the time and i figured it was still open because i saw the lights still on and staff walking around. i pulled up in the drive thru and no one opened the window or simply let me know they were closed. i waited for a few minutes, pulled up to the front, walked to the door and tried to open it. it was obviously locked and i got stares from the staff until eventually they told me it was closed. i get it they dont have to serve me since they were closed but they could have at least had the decency to let me know and treat me well. was very disappointed by their actions that day but i was never mistreated again and have been getting drinks often with rarely any mistakes, and if so they are very minor and insignificant.“

Amazing workers all the workers do a great job honestly I was amazed I m preparing for my exams and I sit here for some days 12 hours but I have never seen such a great team work they are a good team the Asian manager is great all the other ladies the Mexican dude both of them are great wow amazing guys you are I m blue collar and at our job sites people say if u want an easy job go make coffee but I can attest it is not an easy job it's extremely tough I was amazed they were taking orders and making at the same time multi tasking thanks for educating me on this guys I personally would never make that joke again and correct people making that joke forward man u guys deserve all the money and appreciation in the world I m the guy who sits on the sofa chair thanks guys I m very impressed“

“I have had the same girl a few times. She usually works like 4pm on Saturday. I go after I hit the gym to get my refresher (it was my 2nd of the day, don't tell my trainer)Anyways, I don't know her name but she is skinny and has shoulder length brown hair. She is so nice! She is also funny. She always makes my drinks amazing. 50000 stars to her!“

“Was here around 2:30. Two staff on the floor from what I could tell. It was super busy, but they were doing their absolute best. The staff here are so kind. Only 5 stars because the staff are so great, this five stars is for them; definitely not ideal for them, because they seemed swamped. Starbucks do better, staffing issues like understaffing isn’t good for customers either.“

“Today we ordered through Starbucks delivery and part of the order didn't show up. I tried calling the location multiple times but no one picked up. I decided to drive over (which defeats the purpose of delivery) and the person who helped me was lovely. I showed her the order number and the credit card charge that went through. She replaced the missing item right away which I really appreciated.
My only complaint/suggestion would be to PLEASE answer the phone!!!!“

Even during the busiest rush, she stays friendly, calm, and helpful. What really impressed me is how she remembered our order without us even saying a word — that personal touch made our day. “Thanks so much - I just ordered an americano, black, and stood around staring at my phone…then a kind voice said “your drink is ready” and the nicest person smiled and handed me my coffee with a cute note on the lid. Dear lovely Starbucks worker: you totally made my day!“

“I don't go to Starbucks ever, really, and I mostly went because I had a gift card. I didn't know how to say what I wanted due to anxiety and lack of knowledge, so I showed the barista a picture. I don't know who I talked to, but they were absolutely lovely and so helpful, even giving me a simple explanation for the sizes.
What I ended up getting was a strawberry creme frap, which is very sweet but I like it. Thank you to whoever helped me today, you were very sweet ❤️

“Always friendly and wonderful, but the location is too small so it is _busy_ strongly, especially during promotions like frap hour. Recommend using the app to order in advance and be prepared to wait, or don't it's your $5 coffee.❤ The renovation looks amazing“

“I noticed there aren’t any recent reviews about this location, so I thought I’d update others.

I’d consider it the best location in Winnipeg; I actively choose against earning stars in exchange for the quality service that Melani, Chantelle and Nina provide every single time I go here. Incredible customer service, consistently made drinks, and often, they have free samples of new drinks. I don’t often eat in, but I visited recently and the tables were cleaned wonderfully.

Things to note:
it seems like they may receive less physical merchandise than other stores.

Stars/Star offers are not able to be redeemed here, but you can pay with your Starbucks card and earn stars.

Since it’s a less busy location, you can usually get seasonal drinks after they’re out of season (which is an awesome bonus!)

Sometimes the wait can be long if customers order 4+ drinks at once. They are staffed lighter than single standing Starbucks locations from what I’ve noticed.

Overall, I’m consistently astounded by how wonderful the staff here are. I don’t play about customer service, and clearly neither do they.

“I wish I caught her name, but the young lady who served me at the Radisson Starbucks this morning was stellar. We talked about Brett Hart (?!?) and being fans. “This location is one of the very few that still feels like a classic sitting cafe from the nineties. Despite the modern aesthetic, the music feels very mid ninties folk alternative and the staff feel like friends youd meet at 11 pm and talk to for four hours in 1995 As a Gen X lad, i appreciate the hidden qualities of this place. Also a version of a mojito? No complaints. Youll love it here and youll love to lose tine here as well.“

the staff are always sooo friendly, but there are three people who especially make my mornings better

there’s a tall brunette girl who remembers my drink order without me even having to say it, a blonde gentleman with glasses who is always happy, kind, and quick, and another brunette team member with braces who is always sooooo sweet ♥

my drinks are always made perfectly and are always delicious. everyone there is wonderful, but these three always go above and beyond and make my day ◡̈

“This Starbucks coffee is located inside of Savon foods in Bridgewater Forest area of Winnipeg. They receding for about 20 adjacent to the counter. The same on food’s deli is also located next to it as well so perfect place to dive into both. The staff is friendly, it’s a nice environment and overall great ambience. Plenty of free parking. I recommend.“

“Starbucks is located in the domestic terminal of Winnipeg International Airport adjacent to Winnipeg duty-free and the plaza. It’s located directly in front of gate number five. It’s a great location in the sense that there is plenty of seating and it’s very comfortable overall. They sell everything a regular Starbucks does – snacks, hot and cold drinks etc. Staff is friendly. I recommend.“

“The few iced drinks I order are always made correctly even with the customization options. The Frappuccinos and Lattes are unmatched! I do wish the store merchandise was abit cheaper. The cups/bottles on the shelves go from $30 - $40+ which is just ridiculous.“
