“Four stars for service and space. Just off the Main Street, there are plenty of tables and chairs for diners and people who want to work. (There are outlets and wifi.) The people who run it are efficient but very nice and helpful.My latte was tasty and my daughter enjoyed the bottled orange juice.The food was average. My daughter’s waffle was a little dry but she enjoyed the whipped cream. My ham quiche was large and not bad!“

“Visiting Federick from D.C. for a wedding, quality coffee was on the agenda and Gravel and Grind delivered. Inside a bike shop just off downtown's main street, they have a full coffee menu, including unique lattes and syrups. My cardamom latte was strong, flavorful, and creamy. My seven-year-old daughter loved the hot chocolate with whipped cream. To eat, my daughter had the Nutella toast and I the labneh toast with honey, pistachio, and candied oranges. It was the perfect amount of food for breakfast. Service was friendly and efficient and the space is beautiful with plenty of seats. There's also Wi-Fi.“

“Everything about this place is 10/10. The owners are so genuine, kind and ALWAYS have a smile. Never have I ever entered and not been greeted with enthusiasm! The beverages are handcrafted with so much love, I swear you can taste it. Pragya always takes time and care for each drink she makes. No short cuts- ever! As someone who has been in the service industry for many years, it is a rarity to witness someone day after day, customer after customer provide A+ service not to mention consistency of product! They also sell coffee in k cups- I tried the flavored sampler pack and there are 6 different flavors, 2 of each kind. Can order coffee whole beans or ground. “Love this place and the people who own & run it. It's my go-to for a breakfast or lunch sandwich (the veggie). My business, Cowork Frederick, also gets food from them on a regular basis. Small or large orders (call ahead for large) - they always provide fresh, tasty food and friendly service. I also love that they use compostable cups.“

“This was a nice little shop in downtown Frederick! I was impressed by the large selection of drinks and flavors they had to add to their coffees. I got a specialty latte (almond milk chocolate caramel vanilla) and my partner got a chocolate Oreo boba. The boba had a nice flavor, and my latte was pretty good. I meant to order it iced but I forgot to mention it, but it was still a nice creamy drink. The service was friendly and the staff were nice here, very welcoming! If I lived in the area I would come back to try a boba here“

“Love this place and an amazing go to! The tea flavors aren't authentic but are good in their own ways. It is important to note that although it closes at 8pm, they stop serving drinks at 7pm due to the time needed for proper clean up. I especially love their mammoth bread, melon bread, and custard bread. You can't go wrong with any of the pastries and I love that they have some snacks discounted after being out for sometime!Kid-friendliness: Cute mascot and friendly staff. “One of many Spice & Tea Exchange stores across the U.S., they offer a lot of teas, candles, and spices. They have large containers, so one can smell all the different products.The store owner was incredibly kind, helping procure tea from the back and ensuring we were able to find what we needed.“

“Last night I went in because I wanted to try the brisket sandwich because it's only available after 4PM. The people in this store are ALWAYS friendly and awesome. “20231231 The baristas are very polite. They didn't have the peach to make the honey citrus mint tea. Initial they recommended boiling some peaches but we decided to go with it. It turned out the honey is what makes the tea good, in my opinion. The tea was still good. They have the Maryland been there mugs, if you are looking for it. I already got mine long time ago.b?“

“I don't know I've never sat down and drank or ate anything out of this place it's primarily a coffee shop and all's I do is I go in there long enough just to use the toilet and then I leave I used to sit down with a person for about an hour but then I walk out. It's a place to come and get a muffin or a bagel and a cup of coffee or hot chocolate the people that work there are very nice of the patrons as well as the patrons. No one gives anybody any issues it's not like a regular bar or even a restaurant it's just a little coffee shop for people to get together and talk about things. Have a cup of joe along with a cake or pie or bagel and just mellow out. Most of the time the restrooms are kept clean and supplies are there but sometimes it can be hard for them to get to the bathrooms to clean them up because they get extremely busy in the mornings and well into the evenings and that's usually when I show up. But it's all good and so are they. So I can't rate the food since I don't eat or drink there.“
