“Riks is a total star. When you're standing in front of the restaurant you're in a parking lot of a an old shopping center. Once inside you're in a contemporary bar and restaurant. I believe that much of the work in creating the space was performed by the then staff, many of whom worked together with owners at a prior restaurant. The food is wonderful, creative, fresh and satisfying. My favorites include a smoked salmon salmon carpoccio (sorry about the spelling). A great selection of salads with the ability to. add to them crab cake chicken etc. The sandwiches range from a Reuben to a grilled mahi mahi .My favorite when I want a substantial dinner is their short ribs and mashed potatoes. Writing this review has just made me hungry. Guess where I'm going for an early dinner. Prices are VERY reasonable“

“Little Alex’s Pizzeria is by far one of the best lunch spots in the Hagerstown area. They have excellent protein bowls, pizza, and my favorite steak and cheese in this area. “The crabcake and crab soup were extremely good. They were packed full with super supple crab meat that was really the star of the show. The crabcake dinner is a bit small for what it is - I'd hope for 2 sides versus 1 included side and more fresh options as a side (i.e. a salad, more veg options). That being said, everything was very good so i think its worth a treat every once in a while. Or.. just order the soup and extra bread!“

“I ordered a meat lovers strumboli. I normally order my Stromboli from ledos. But ledos has been struggling the last couple of times. I stopped by on a happenstance as I was getting a vape next door. Let the food coma commence! It's been fourteen hours since i've eaten that stromboli. I remember it fondly. I still belch it up. I'm going back to test the pizza and chicken wings for football sunday. I can't recommend the stromboli enough. Meat lovers. Large. It's going to hold you. Wow!“

“A wonderful and enjoyable family owned and operated restaurant. Food was still very hot after a 20 min ride home. Needed to find another place to enjoy Chinese food and accidentally found Evergreen. I highly recommend them. Tried the BBQ ribs, general Tso's chicken, steamed dumplings, szechuan shrimp, sweet n sour chicken, shrimp roll, egg roll and cheese wonton. Zero complaints. Can't wait to eat my left overs... too much to eat at once, lol. Live behind HCC and completely worth the drive to enjoy fantastic food.“

“Definitely our go-to restaurant in the area (near Whitetail and Liberty ski areas). The food is amazing! I had the chili and the mozzarella and tomato salad. My son had the Southern Fried Chicken. Both were delicious — plus a pizookie for dessert!

Our server, Cim, was also fantastic — super-friendly and attentive. Lots of nice little touches, like automatically bringing out refills when he saw our drinks were low. Could not have asked for a better dining experience!“

Where we are from, everything is NY Style so this was a nice change of pace. The crust is delicious! The staff are also super nice and friendly. Definitely recommend Cafe Del Sol.“

“Best sushi ever! My family and I used to live in Hagerstown in 2015-2016 and this was our go-to-spot. We moved almost 2 hours away and whenever we could we would come back because we had not and still have not found a place that could match. We moved back to Frederick in 2021 so now we try to come more often especially now that indoor dining is back. I have referred family and friends here and they agree that the sushi is spectacular.

Our go-to rolls are the super crunch roll and add shrimp to it and the salmon tempura and add cream cheese to it. Their beef and broccoli is delicious as well. Cannot go wrong with anything you choose.“

“We love Nikkos. It's one of our favorite restaurants and we visit often. I was shocked today to see an automatic 18% gratuity for our party of 2. Apparently it's a new policy that applies to all diners, no matter the party size. Now we always tip 20% or more, but to not even be told about the 18% ahead of time was absurd. I'm sure there is a reason for it, but it's a shame that now you won't be getting as large of a tip from us because you put 18% on there and don't tell people.“

“WOW!! If I could give this place 15 stars I would. Server was excellent and the food was delicious. I ordered fried pickles as an appetizer and could have had four more. My cheesesteak was loaded with all of the goods- lettuce, tomato, onion, cheese. Server knew the menu like it was her own child. Good stuff. Love the turtle.“

“I absolutely love chopstix and have found it EXTREMELY hard to find anywhere where I moved to (mount airy, md) or even in Frederick! So I've been driving to hagerstown when I do want chinese food and going here! (Also recommend both of the stores beside of chopstix, the little grocery market, and simple pleasures.)I absolutely love the food here and I will continue driving 45 minutes to get it! Totally worth it! I like to get the house chow Mei fun and they are the only place I've had that don't try to pass off some absolutely bland overcooked mess!

“HOLY GUACAMOLE, BATMAN!! I stumbled on this little jewel while exploring Hagarstown, MD. They had me at "taco", but WOW! The menu is EXTENSIVE with items like lamb or brisket birria, chorizo tacos, fresh pressed juices and a breakfast selection. Good music at just the right volume added to the great experience I had and the service was fast and friendly. I had brisket birria that literally made me "OMG!" out loud. Melt in your mouth delicious and piping hot! I need a thesaurus because I don't know enough words to describe how good this food is. 7 stars on a scale of 1 to 5. Can't wait to come back.“

“We don't have waiting too long to be seated. I ordered t-bone steak and I came perfectly cooked as per order ( my daughter ordered the same too!)
The server was so efficient and friendly personality and we were attended with satisfactory service. Over all, it was a beautiful experiences. FYI we were 8 pax.

“When I decide to have an Italian meal, I go to Fratellis. I love the manicotti, but I'm not too sure how long the restaurant will stay open. They are in dire need of help and has Help Wanted sign on door. When I visited couple days ago, July 2, there was only 1 person working.. I'm not sure if he's the owner, but the gentleman was all by himself: cook waiter, cashier, answered phone, probably dishwasher and custodisn. So support restaurant as much as possible. If you know anyone looking for a job, send him/her to Fratelli's.They need the help.
