“This coffee shop is a gem tucked away in Artabus just off the Hwy 1 Business route. I stopped in on a Sunday morning on the way home to Frederick after dropping my son off at the BWI Amtrak Station. I had the signature Oca Mocha which was delicious as well as the egg, avocado, and bacon bagel which was equally delicious and substantial. It was such a pleasant place to sit and enjoy my late breakfast on a quiet little street off the beaten path. The staff was super friendly and my food was ready quickly. Highly recommend.“

“Bubble tea is great but service is very inconsistent. Often staff don’t acknowledge you when you enter or fail to offer to take your order. On one occasion the staff working was fast asleep on the counter at 4pm. The sitting area is often dirty.“

Every dish was intentional and on-point - created and presented with a lot of love, care, and attention to detail - and, looking appetizing and ready-to-eat rather than over-stylized. The flavors impressed! In every meal, the ingredients were fresh and high quality, and the flavors superb. The house-made pastas and sauces were exceptional - creatively prepared and perfectly approachable. I particularly enjoyed the chickpea fritters appetizer; but the burrata was equally impressive. The accompaniments to the meal - roasted carrots, broccolini, and salads - were at the peak of freshness and flavor - served at absolutely the right temperature and doneness and dressed masterfully to accentuate the quality of the vegetables. And, the desserts! I will be back! My affogato was served exactly as it should be - a rich, aromatic double espresso poured over a generous serving of salted caramel gelato in a clear glass cup. The aromas and tastes of both the espresso and gelato, as well as the integrity of the scoops of gelato, "held" until the very last sip of this very special dessert drink. One of the best, if not the best, espressos I have enjoyed at a restaurant. The other desserts were just as remarkable. Serving the cannoli on an extra "little pillow" of cannoli cream was absolutely the right touch - luxurious and special. The limoncello cake and the bomboloni were equally impressive. Our server made us feel immediately at home and took very good care of us throughout the meal. Thank you, thank you! I loved the laid back vibe and intimacy of the cafe, which allowed for an amazing dining experience without fussiness and unnecessary fanfare. “I had no idea what we were in for. What a pleasant surprise! You know it's an exceptional spot when there is a swarm of people continuously going in and out--nonstop. Busy, busy, busy! When you walk in you are serenaded with easy acoustic music and your nose goes in overdrive due to the numerous sweet aromas--chai, espresso, cakes, breads and pastries. The back and right sides are areas deemed for sitting, gathering, studying and...eating! The cash wrap is in the middle section and the items for sale are on the left. There is NO direction or signs on how or what to do when you get in so I figured I'd make my review a bit of a guide: If you're here solely for picking up an order, making a custom order, grabbing a slice of cake or for coffee, you can go straight to the cash wrap. If you are here for pastries (etc.), you'll start on the left. This area is self-serve. Grab a tray, a tray liner and OPEN the little disinfectant oven container to grab a pair of tongs. Brace yourself. You are now ready to turn around into the abyss of desserts. DON'T THINK ABOUT CALORIES. DON'T THINK ABOUT BEING JUDGED FOR ADDING 100 TREATS TO YOUR TRAY. TREAT YO'SELF. Along the wall are breads, coffee beans, and other bagged items. The containers in the middle of the section contains all the freshly made items which you can open yourself and use your tongs to place them on your tray. Each item has a display card that includes ingredients and calorie information. If you want to remember what you selected, take a picture because the packaging is not English. *In addition to the pastries, there are cakes and cake pieces--cake pieces are only available until they last--you MUST try one. Cakes is what Tous Les Jours excels at. The cake section is on the left side of the cash wrap. If you want cake, you'll order it at the cash wrap. I tried the sweet potato pastry (5/5), the melon bread (2/5), strawberry shortcake (2/5), chai tea (3/5), milk crème bread (5/5), strawberry yogurt cake (5/5). It is officially my favorite bakery.“

“One of the best coffee spots in Fed Hill. The coffee quality is excellent and it's always fun to see if you get your color right. Service is excellent and always friendly. Inside is nice and they also have some outdoor seating. They always have the cutest seasonal options and the pastries are great to snack on. I recently tried their Cinnabun syrup in my coffee and it was a game changer. Be sure to check them out if you're around!“

“Not only is a really cute and quaint establishment with delicious dessert, but the owners are the sweetest!! The ice cream itself is quite delightful and the waffles are soft, yet crispy and the extra surprise that you get when you bite into each of the bubbles depending on what filling you get inside is what makes it such a unique dessert! “This pour over was so fun. I did a custom Guatemalan with a chocolate stuffed donut and the way the flavors evolved as the drink cooled was really great. The staff were friendly and the other guests even recommended some other local spots that we loved. They very obviously care about quality and have spent time figuring out their brew. Would love to see some extra seating aside from the bar area for study or work, but it doesn't take away from what was an incredible cup of coffee (the donut was also remarkably great but definitely overshadowed by such interesting and well brewed coffee).“

“Let me just tell you - amazing! I had the butter pecan because that's my thing and it was so good. If you like ice cream and donuts then this is the place for you. Tons of flavors/toppings to choose from. The store is nicely decorated and the employees were very professional and friendly. They used clean gloves when assembling your chimney cake - which is important to me. My kids had the oreo which was great and hubby loved the banana pudding.“

“I went here on a Sunday around 3:30 and there was a small crowd. We were able to get our items quickly after we ordered though it took a little while to order. There is a window that you order from and there is one cashier to take the order. The customer service was great. I was able to try the ice cone flavors. There were so many flavors and combination of flavors to choose from. They also had other treats like benigets, brownies, and cakes. They had Takhara brothers ice cream and I'm a huge fan of their ice cream, so I was excited to get the key lime, but it head run out. The clerk offered me other options and told me about the mango, guava, pineapple ice topped with fruit, so I decided to try it. I am so glad that I did. It was really flavorful and refreshing. There was cute outdoor seating that was well maintained. I will most definitely come back here.“

“This place was on my try-list for a long time and I'm so glad I came! I came here after I finished an exam following a stressful start to my week. The place immediately made my day! Bryan took my order at the register, and he had the most welcoming warm and positive energy. The place itself is small, but it is so cozy and charming. I ordered a BYOBreaky with sourdough, a runny egg, bacon, and veggies - it was absolutely delicious. I also got a Split and Griddled muffin at Bryan's suggestion and loved it. My "You're my Best Friend" drink was also great and the perfect temperature. I look forward to coming again soon!“

“We love this place, we started coming since they opened, we used to go to café EZ 1 in Ellicott City, but we like this one better as has more space and more tables. All servers, and personnel are polite, always with good vibe. Food is great, they have a lot of options available. We like to come for Breakfast, Brunch or Lunch. But this place has all day Breakfast options. So, if you are like me, you can enjoy a great selection of pancakes at noon ?.The only thing we don't like much are the prices, but everything is expensive nowadays, right? So, I don't blame this place for rising their prices as food is 98% of the times delicious. Coffee is also great, kind of the same price as Starbucks :( but is good coffee. They have also smoothies which are also delicious and other "adult" drinks for a happy hour... Burgers, salads, wraps, all I've tried here has been if not delicious, great or good. “Great place for pizza pickup. We ordered the spicy pepperoni, chicken, and half and half for take away. All were fantastic. The crust is a highlight, perfect mix of crispy, chewy, and char that rivals the best crust in the city. The pizza is pricy but well worth the cost.“

They do have their own little parking lot. However, given the amount of customers they have on daily base. This little parking lot is filled up fairly quick. “Major props for treating gluten free bread as the half-sized slices they are. This is the first place I've been to that spreads the sandwich contents across two small sandwiches. Every other place either attempts to stuff the insides onto puny slices (rarely) or more likely, simply gives you less. In those places, not only are you paying through the nose for GF bread, but you then get less food for the privilege. NOT SO at Atwater's. “Stumbled upon this shop after leaving the nail salon and so glad I did. I almost didn't want to write this review to keep this place to myself. It's a small and quiet coffee shop, which is exactly what I was looking for. It also has lots of plant supplies and plants. I'm not sure if the person working that day was the owner, he was very friendly and knowledgeable about the products offered. He was patient with me as I decided on what to order and informed me that the coffee I chose was from Nepal. While I spent some time working, a few frequent customers came in and I only know this because the employee remembered their orders. There was also someone who came in about an issue they had with a product from the store and he exchanged it with no questions/charge. Bonus points for parking being easily available! The mini Chicken Pot Pie was super good, very savory stuffed with fresh herbs! My partner tried the carne asada pie which he crushed(I assume it was great!) I have tried a regular latte which was pretty good, but the pies are definitely the best thing here! Highly recommend if you're in the area! I loved the quirky decor and the humous conversation between the cook and the man in front. They were so friendly and in sync, I could not tell if they were co-owners. I kept it simple: classic breakfast and a more "trendy" beverage. Nailed both. At any other place, I would've paid $6 for the spiced chai tea close to $20 for the breakfast. Here.
