She was familiar with the two customers in front of me. It definitely had a neighborhood friendly vibe. The shop was busy. Most of the tables on the first floor were taken up when I was there. Be sure to take a stroll up the stairs. At the top of the stairs was an adorable little spot for two people to sit and chat. The second floor has a great little area to sit and ready or study. The top floor was full of light. I ordered my usual cortado. It was a solid drink. The cortado wasn't bad but it also wasn't anything spectacular to write home about.“

“My Son CJ told me about Carlos and Los Suenos and now I make a trip into Cafe Los Suenos once a month to buy coffee. No other coffee comes close. Customer Service is above anything I have experienced before in any other coffee shop. Carlos deserves this review, but I would love if this shop did not get the attention it deserves and stayed as the best kept secret in Baltimore! If I could it would be getting 7 starts on a scale of one to five! its that good!“

“Stopped by for the first time the other day after a walk for a quick bite and some coffee. The space is nice open and airy with plenty of seating and nice vibes. The staff is super nice as well. However, it was a bit dirty in there. I sat off on the side tables and the floor was dirty and the wall where my table was located was pretty gross for some reason. These are white walls so the dirt and...food(?) Zwas pretty noticeable. Also there was something floating in my ice water, which I believe was from the ice itself because I asked for extra ice and the ice had something in it too. Maybe it was coffee grinds, idk, but it shouldnt get in the ice. The food was okay, but the coffee was really good. These are things that can be easily remedied and I hope it happens because its a great place otherwise.“

“Karen is an amazing baker. She saved the day after we were let down for our wedding cake. She delivered a beautiful 3 tiered cake. In 6 years I've seen Atwater's with a great track record for hiring and training members of its team. But I'd like to credit two in particular today. Joey, the new manager settled into his role quickly just this year and is very engaging, friendly, and happy to help customers directly alongside his team. Alyssa is another fantastic worker and leader in the team. Always paying attention and focused on keeping everything in order and working efficiently. The whole team performs well. But she routinely performs above the standard.“

The sourdough crust on the pizzas are phenomenal — structurally strong enough to support the toppings without being floppy, nice taste, simultaneously crunchy and soft — a great middle ground. For the effort they’re putting in on the crust alone, it’s a 5-star pizza. However, I tried the supreme and the chicken and felt both could use some balancing when it comes to the flavors of the toppings. I’d buy again, yes, but not in a rush.
