The tacos de birria and the birria torta con consomé are definitely the stars of the show. The tacos are big, packed with tender, flavorful meat, and perfect for dipping in the rich consomé. And the torta… ni hablar. It absolutely stands up to its reputation as a super torta huge, jugosa, and loaded with delicious birria. It’s one of those sandwiches that’s messy in the best way because it’s so full and juicy.

“First time here with the family. Loved the food. Everyone enjoyed the food. Place was clean and the service was very good. I left off 1 star for atmosphere only because of the music. I'm a Hip Hop head and I enjoyed it. My wife and I talked about other families with younger kids. The music was not something you want to hear if you have young kids or non hip hop fans for that matter. Maybe try the radio version. The owners are well within their right to play what they want so just take this as some friendly advice.“

“We stopped by this Salvadorian-Mexican restaurant for breakfast and had a great experience. The food was fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care.

I ordered the Salvadorian típico, which came with scrambled eggs mixed with shredded beef, sweet plantains, and traditional sides. Everything was well seasoned and cooked just right. We also tried the cheese pupusas, and they were excellent. Hot, cheesy, and full of flavor. The coffee was really good and completed the breakfast.

Customer service also stood out. The cashier was friendly, polite, and welcoming, which made the visit even better.

Overall, everything was on point. From the food to the service, this is a great spot if you are looking for authentic Salvadorian food or a solid breakfast. We will definitely be back.“

“The food was absolutely amazing! I had beef fajitas, my aunt had the salmon with a wine sauce, my grandma had the carne assada, and my husband had a beef milanesa. I tried everyone’s food and loved all the plates. The meat was so juicy and tender! I have eaten at numerous latin restaurants over the years and this is definitely on top of my list. We received a tres leches cake for my grandma’s birthday and I can say it was the best one I’ve ever had. Just perfect 😍“

Menu also has some Salvadoran specialties that I've enjoyed each time.There isn't a lot of cost put into the atmosphere and fixtures of the restaurant, but if you are looking for some good food and service, this place is very consistent and remains one of my gotos.“

“I love California Tortilla and this place didn't disappoint! The steak fajita burrito was delicious. The Coke from the machine was off, but I'll chock it up to a mistake. Someone probably put the wrong bag in the regular spot, it tasted like cherry. The sauce wall has some pretty amazing sauces and to-go containers. Will definitely be back!“
