“Came in right at closing time and Jazz took care of my order even though they were right about to close. My order only took about 10 mins and I was on my way! Thank You DJ Jazzy Jeff! You're the man and I hope you get a raise! This location in Aspen Hill has become my favorite Pizza Spot because even though some people may complain about the customer service, I've never had a bad experience here and I've been ordering both Delivery and Carryout from here for years!!“

For some reason today I got no idea if y'all prayed to the pizza god for a new recipe or something, but that margarita pizza can rival most of NY slices I had. I am actually still lost for words cause I can't describe why was it that good?? ??‍♂️ Crunchy, some flake, sauce was clearly made in house by crushed tomatoes, has sweetness, good char to the crust. The cheese was good. I have no idea what y'all figured out but good freaking job“

“I saw a brochure of the restaurant on my door when I came home and decided to try the restaurant. I ordered a salad and a pizza. The pizza was amazing but the service was exceptional. Mh uber driver stole my bowl of salad and blamed the restaurant for it. When I called the manager reassured everything was given to him and went above and beyond to prove it by sending me a picture of him personally handing the food to the guy.. I've never experienced such an incredible service and I will for sure order again in the future. I am 100% recommending this restaurant“

“I was visiting the DC area and wanted pizza, so I decided to try Matchbox. I love a meaty pizza, so I ordered The Pig, which was loaded with pepperoni, ham, sausage, salami, and bacon, and it was super cheesy! Most of the toppings were underneath the cheese. I chose a 10-inch pizza, which was a good size if you have a big appetite or want to share with a friend. The service was excellent; my waiter was very attentive. The space was clean, relaxed, and private enough for each party to enjoy their own area.“

“I've had the Addis Ababa pizza and the egg and veggie breakfast sandwich, and both are really really delicious! If you're just visiting the area and aren't sure if you'll come more than once, you absolutely have to get one of the Ethiopian pizzas, you're not getting that combination of flavors maybe anywhere else. The price of the Ethiopian pizzas is fair because of the amount of toppings that go on them and how filling they are. Even on an empty stomach I get stuffed from three slices of the Addis Ababa and have to save the rest for later. “I'm a regular at Angelo's almost every Tuesday during the fall middle school and spring high school softball seasons. I stop there between the game I umpire and teaching religious education around the corner at St. Patrick's. I will say that the quality at Angelo's is outstanding. I usually do a combination cheeseburger sub or steak and cheese. They are excellent. Plus, the fries are real fries that come out of the deep frier nice and crispy. I often will treat my religious education class to pizzas from Angelo's and they always tell me it's good pizza. Finally, they have Little Gina's pizzels. They're an Italian cookie my Italian mom would make and they are exactly like she would cook them. So, if you want some great pizza or sub plus some really crispy fries, I highly recommend Angelo's. Maybe I'll see you there some Tuesday!“

“Wow! Such amazing pizza. The crust is so well made- beautiful wheat sourdough focaccia. Crunchy on the outside, soft of the inside. The toppings were high quality and thoughtfully sourced. Honestly my perfect pizza- it was incredible. I didn’t get a photo because I ate it too fast.“

“Pizza Rosa is a gem. I ordered cheese pizza with extra cheese and their chicken alfredo. First, their dough/crust IS different. But that's what makes it unique and special. The tomato sauce (made with san marzano, as it should be) is simple yet flavorful. The cheese is perfect too, and next time I won't get the extra cheese because I don't think I needed it after all. So many chain pizza places in my experience are so stingy on the cheese in general, so I order extra by default, out of fear that the sauce to cheese ratio will be 85:15. But Pizza Rosa has you covered, my dear fellow cheese lovers.

But now, let me cover their angelic chicken alfredo. It's hands down the best I have ever had (and I've had plenty from various top notch Italian restaurants in the area, all the way to Stouffer's). The kind of noodle is a new experience on its own and has the perfect texture, capturing the sauce in every nook and cranny so that every bite is perfectly balanced. The chicken itself wasn't overcooked or under seasoned. It was literally perfect. Tender as can be. And don't even get me started on the alfredo sauce. I'm a cheese and alfredo aficionado, and I have the highest standards when it comes to this kind of sauce, and Pizza Rosa's alfredo is superior to any in the universe.

My only regret? Not ordering the dulce de leche cheesecake. That stuff looked heavenly and I'm hoping to order it soon (like tomorrow).

“My wife and I are native New Yorkers, i.e, Pizza Snobs. We’ve lived in 3 states and the DMV. Wise Guy Pizza is authentic. Full stop. Just the right amount of oil on top, the pepperoni was perfectly flat, unlike some at imposter pizza places where they lay like mini saucers. The crust is simply New York - the crust thin and soft, not like other “thin crust” imitators that tastes like cardboard. The only complaint is the sausage: little rectangle strips rather than small round pieces. However, they were tasty.

Absolutely recommend this especially if you're visiting the area and just want something delivered. “I tried to go to this location only. It is the original. If you'll notice the other restaurants are Ledo's with an S at the end. Similar signage. Similar pizza. But not as good as THE one on Knox Road. If you can go there you won't be disappointed. Parking meters.

2024 UPDATE -- apparently Ledo's did do the right things when they franchised. So I feel like I could go to any of them. I don't think I've had any bad pizza there. Always tasty!“

Great tasting food, but if I'm spending my money I'd like to be spoken to and receive smiles. I should not ever feel uncomfortable dining out with my family and I. Unfortunately I will not be returning to this Mod pizza due to my experience this was a first visit to this location and will be my last.“
