“As a NY guy living in DC, Andy’s burrata and pepperoni with the hot honey may be the best pizza I’ve ever had in my life. What is really special is how light and airy but crispy the crust is. It is similar to Lucali’s.

“I always get good service here at Andy’s Pizza here at McLean/TYSONS GALLERIA. Aymen, the manager, has his crew always ready for the day and it definitely shows with their prompt service. My favorite pizzas are the white pizza and the mushroom pizza! Never get disappointed with the squeezed lemonade as well!“

For some reason today I got no idea if y'all prayed to the pizza god for a new recipe or something, but that margarita pizza can rival most of NY slices I had. I am actually still lost for words cause I can't describe why was it that good?? ??‍♂️ Crunchy, some flake, sauce was clearly made in house by crushed tomatoes, has sweetness, good char to the crust. The cheese was good. I have no idea what y'all figured out but good freaking job“

The thin crust was delicious especially on the cheese pizza. The only negative thing I have too say is y’all charging too much for a house salad. “This spot was incredible. Great artisan pizzas with creative pairings & cooked to perfection. The Harambe loved Big Macs and Macha Roni were both SO good. My favorite between the two was the Harambe- which had an fantastic dressing. It truly was a star.

I will think about this one in my sleep. I will crave it. As much as I will stand on a soapbox telling anyone who will listen that Martha Dear is not just THE best pizza in the DMV, but one of the best restaurants in the area, it is the conspicuously kind service that is the first thing I will mention. “I'm a regular at Angelo's almost every Tuesday during the fall middle school and spring high school softball seasons. I stop there between the game I umpire and teaching religious education around the corner at St. Patrick's. I will say that the quality at Angelo's is outstanding. I usually do a combination cheeseburger sub or steak and cheese. They are excellent. Plus, the fries are real fries that come out of the deep frier nice and crispy. I often will treat my religious education class to pizzas from Angelo's and they always tell me it's good pizza. Finally, they have Little Gina's pizzels. They're an Italian cookie my Italian mom would make and they are exactly like she would cook them. So, if you want some great pizza or sub plus some really crispy fries, I highly recommend Angelo's. Maybe I'll see you there some Tuesday!“

“Great Fish and Chips, Great Subs, Affordable prices, but most important Fresh Food. You can tell the Kitchen and Oils are clean by the presentation of the food. The fries and fish are bright gold exterior (sign of clean cooking oil) and the taste is pure. absolutely great food.“

“Our sister Debbie passed away unexpectedly. Debbie was a very casual person. She didn't want a funeral. So we had a graveside service. I got permission from the church to have Timber Pizza come to the cemetery because my sister would have gotten a big kick out of that. The pizza was great, the service was wonderful, the two gentlemen were very friendly. When I told Kevin that sausage gravy and biscuits was my sister's favorite food, they brought it and cooked the biscuits in the wood fired oven. It was incredible, and so compassionate. Kevin was kind and patient with the level of crazy I've been putting out there for the past two weeks. I can't recommend them highly enough.“

“Having seen Ice n Slice on Instagram, I ordered a doro wat pizza and cheese pizza for the kids.

Both pizzas had a nice yeasty crust. The cheese pizza was actually very lovely. The tomato sauce was slightly sweet with a little nod to Ethiopian spices.

The doro wat pizza drew us in. Obviously you can’t get much more creative (or iconically dc) than a doro wat pizza. There were pieces of chicken baked into the pizza, as well as little crumbs of feta. It was rich and succulent, heavy without being over the top.

The pies held up well through the drive home to the suburbs. That being said, both pizzas were $64, which while definitely worth it, is a little steep to become a frequent occurrence.

We were a little bit surprised in that it was a smaller establishment as we thought we were going to a place that had lots of tables, etc. This place has one inside table and five or six countertops to eat at and then they have several tables outside but as noted, the food was fantastic.
