But the second time going without the owners there, the experience fell below. Very sad. still delicious but missing the hospitality and care with the food. For example first time with owners everything was hot the bread was beautifully presented all puffed up and steaming hot when opening it second time going without owners the bread wasn't puffed up and barely hot. Our waiter explained that instead of raising their menu prices, they just tack on the fee. However, it’s not clear on the menu what exactly this fee goes towards. Why not just raise the price by $2 and stop fooling customers?I’d come back for the food for take away or to sit outside- the inside was cramped and very loud.“
“One Michelin star and 2023 James Beard best chef in America. I got the Vernal (early spring) tasting menu, which is prepared vegetarian or vegan. Everything tasted delicious, but for me the pumpkin seed gnocchi with the mushroom ragout really stands out on the menu. The folks at this restaurant really care about sustainability (like having plates made out of pressed used wine bottles). I also recommend the wine pairing. Service is top notch. This is a restaurant you should not miss when visiting Washington DC.“
“No lie this is some good pie.I was looking for a place to hang out as I wait for traffic to die down and I found Andy’s pizza. I sat at the bar and ordered a slice of carnivore, and a slice of sausage and pepper. They came out quick and hot. The crust is thin and slightly crispy. After I finished the main part of the pie, I added Mikes hot honey to the crust for a sweet and spicy finish. I will recommend Andy’s Pizza to anyone. My only regret is I didn’t take any pictures.“

Luckily, today we were in the area and finally got to try their pizza. I have had fusion pizzas at a few other places in the past but this was the best so far! She told the host, and he returned with a wipe. He gave my mom the wipe, for her to clean the table. We were too excited about our very first experience at an vegan restaurant to make a fuss. We started off with some cocktails and appetizers. The bang bang broccoli was a hit! The sushi was ok and everyone enjoyed Thier cocktails, despite the excessive amount of ice. “I came to Andy's Pizza - Bethesda on a Sunday evening. There is street parking available and we were lucky enough to grab a spot right in front. You order and pay at the counter and seat yourself. There are a handful of seats available upstairs as well as downstairs. After ordering our pizza and drinks at the counter, my husband and I grabbed a seat right at the front window with our son. I ordered a slice of the Buffalo Crispy Chicken, this comes with mozzarella, provolone, ricotta, crispy white meat chicken and buffalo sauce. The pizza wasn't as spicy as I had anticipated, but it was still good. The crust and pizza itself is thin with less dough. Although the pizza slices seem large, they were not that filling. At $6 for a slice, it makes more sense to order an entire pizza. Overall, the staff were friendly and the food was good. I would definitely order from here again, but just as I mentioned above, I would order an entire pizza next time :)“

“Came here randomly on a Friday since one of my friends wanted to try it and I was blown away. Did not have a reservation but I was lucky enough to find a seat at the bar. (It gets busy so book a reservation in advance). The restaurant is inside a house so you are separated in small groups in each room, which I really enjoyed. First thing I ordered was the expresso martini, and it was one of the best expresso martinis I had. Our bartender Ron was a joy. He was awesome and made our visit 10xs better. He recommended all the best dishes, and was very patient with us while we were ordering. The whole staff was super friendly. The food was just amazing as service. Started off with some meatballs, tuna bites, and wood fired oysters. I did not take pictures unfortunately since I was hungry and dug in immediately. The meatballs were amazing and would recommend anyone to order those if visiting. They come with 3 meatballs so heads up. Personally I'm not a seafood person but I did enjoy the tuna bites. For the main course ordered the house pizza, the Penne alla vodka pasta, and the bolognese pasta. Personally those were all amazing and I couldn't tell you which one I enjoyed most. You can't go wrong with any of those, and order all of them if you can because they were all delicious. Safe to say that I will be back, and will be back to try the steak and other dishes that are offered.“

“My son and I ate at Bacio today and let me say we had a wonderful experience. We sat on the cute patio and it was so peaceful and quiet, you wouldn’t know you were in the middle of DC. The server was friendly and attentive. I liked the alcohol selection, and had wine. We enjoyed mozzarella sticks which we could tell were made in house and not just reheated from frozen like in most other places. The pizza my son got was fresh and delicious. I enjoyed my arugula salad with shrimp. I wish they were a little more cooked but that is a personal preference. The desserts very very good too, we really liked the limoncello raspberry cake. “We have a complicated past with Roscoe's. We live just a block away in Old Town Takoma Park. When they opened we went there a couple of times and it was just plain bad. There were almost no toppings on the pizza and it was all pretty tasteless. So for the last more than a decade we've avoided them - which bummed me out. I love to support our local businesses but there have been, in the past, a few clunkers. And Roscoe's was yet another one. But the other day when I was walking my dog I thought, "Why do I always see people eating both indoors and outdoors there?" So I thought, "Well, let's give them another chance. Maybe they've change in over a decade!!" And have they ever. My husband and I had the Roasted Beet Salad, the Antica Pizza and the Siciliana White PIzza. It was all REALLY good. The Antica was a little greasy so I did some degreasing. The salad was perfect and substantial. The pizzas were really flavorful (with a lot of toppings) and the woodfired pizza was crispy and chewy. Just great. We'll definitely be back since we pretty much live right next door!“

I don't think the pizza was worth it as it reminded me of dry frozen pizza that I could've baked myself for a fraction of the cost. The lemon cake was delicious however! The owners were very sweet when I went to pick up my food and even gave me a small discount-- an even $20 instead of $21 and some change haha. I would come back to try their cheesesteaks, but would avoid the pizza in all honesty.“
