If you're sensitive about cheese sharing space with meat in the slicer, honestly just ask them to wipe down the slicer before cutting your cheese. I have to say the cheesesteak was one of the best I have had in the area. Bread was soft and the meat was tender. The Old School has wiz for the cheese. The ladies said the wings were good as well, but I didn't try them. I certainly will go come here again. Parking was easy and the place seems pretty new. “Had Charley for lunch about 2 days ago, and was satisfied with the customer service between different clients and the rush hour they were going through. I ordered a Philly cheesesteak, with fries and a coke and a small Chicken buffalo sandwich. I absolutely recommend the Philly it’s a classic can’t go wrong, the fries are crunchy, not soggy or floppy and is decent size 10/10. The chicken buffalo felt like it needed more flavor from the chicken, most was from the sauce it was still delicious and still ate it, 7.8/10. Overall even busy I was given good service and got my food in a nice manner and it was tasty. 🙌“

However, my birthday is now past and I didn’t have any success finding my digital coupon before my birthday when I last remembered. I walked into the Shady Grove location not know what to expect. I explained my story to the manager on duty and, before I finished explaining, she said, “I could just make you a Birthday sub”….I paused for a second and then said thank you. “Today I witnessed something truly beautiful. A young supervisor working on May 20th around 4 PM noticed a homeless child and simply asked him if he was hungry. There were no cameras, no attention seeking, and no attempt to gain recognition. It was just a pure and sincere act of kindness from the heart.

In a world where people often walk past those in need, seeing someone stop and show genuine compassion was powerful. Her level of service, professionalism, and humanity deserves to be recognized because moments like this cannot and should not go unnoticed.
