“We dined at One Coastal over the weekend. We had four people in our party and everyone ordered a different item on the menu. Food was fantastic! I enjoyed a simple pasta dish that was the most delish meal I’ve had in years. I shared with everyone at the table and everyone loved it. My husband had the pork chop and reported that it was delicious. My daughter had the scallops and said they were perfect. Her boyfriend had the flank steak and it looked terrific. But my pasta was PERFECTION!“

Sahara Cafe is, now, on our “must visit” list! Staff is very friendly and super efficient. The cafe is homey and traditional, reminiscent of restaurants from my youth - that great diner feeling. “My husband and I had the pleasure of dining here as we were a Veteran family invited to Bethany Beach with Operation SEAS the Day. Words can’t express our gratitude of the wonderful dinner that we had. The outdoor patio is beautiful and romantic. We both ordered the ribeyes and they were delicious, juicy, and tender. The crab dip was the best I have ever eaten. We loved the cream of crab and French onion soups. The servers were friendly and took very great care of us. This restaurant is must if you are in town, we will definitely come back when we return to Bethany Beach.“

“Our go-to when in town!! seated quickly. Coffee came quickly and we were not rushed to order. We had a cheese Danish ($3.99) to start. Then "eye opener" w/ meat (2 eggs over, home fries, and a ton of bacon!) $14.99. I had the creamed chip beef w/ home fries $14.99. Both servings of home fries and of bacon were very generous!! Dryden, our server, checked on us regularly and kept our coffee hot and full. Food came fast, hot and well presented. Out total bill, before tax and tip was $40.94 for to full tummies!!!! We took a carry-out box with a muffin, home fries and bacon home!“

“Happy Jacks is absolutely the best breakfast restaurant anywhere and they have the most amazing staff and food. We never go anywhere else and it's even better now that we live here. My son, Woody has Down Syndrome, and as parents you always worry how he will be treated, well I can tell you from the very first time we walked into Happy Jacks he was treated with respect and true affection. He now knows all the staff, for his birthday then brought him his pancakes with a candle and they sang to him. And one of the waitresses is his Bff and they spend time together outside of her work. It truly is a family affair.“

However the front desk lady would not allow my son to bring in his cooler bag but all other people had coolers and cooler bags. The white lady sitting behind me had a big bag of potato chips so they could not say it was a food thing. My family and i spent hundreds of dollars the entire week as we do every year. My parents owned their house in ocean pines as well. It was racial cause we are African American. All the white people at the pool had coolers and cooler bags that the front desk lady did not even check in their cooler bags but asked my son what was in his bag. SMH.“

“Been there several times this past year since “new people” took over. Let me tell you…what an improvement! I undersatnd why there is no draft beer (going back a few years) but theres always cold cans and bottles at a good price. Food is much more upscale in appearance and taste! Reasonable priced too. Very good breakfast as well. Staff is attentive as well. Restrooms now always have toilet paper and proper hand drying facilities. And now even Trivia as well. Keep it up!!“
