“Riks is a total star. When you're standing in front of the restaurant you're in a parking lot of a an old shopping center. Once inside you're in a contemporary bar and restaurant. I believe that much of the work in creating the space was performed by the then staff, many of whom worked together with owners at a prior restaurant. The food is wonderful, creative, fresh and satisfying. My favorites include a smoked salmon salmon carpoccio (sorry about the spelling). A great selection of salads with the ability to. add to them crab cake chicken etc. The sandwiches range from a Reuben to a grilled mahi mahi .My favorite when I want a substantial dinner is their short ribs and mashed potatoes. Writing this review has just made me hungry. Guess where I'm going for an early dinner. Prices are VERY reasonable“

“Outstanding lunch of authentic Bavarian specialties- our group had schnitzel, sauerbraten, wurst, and strudel, Bavarian cake and mocha cake for dessert. Our server, Anna, was attentive, kind, and incredibly professional. The restaurant is charming and comfortable. Highly recommend!“

“Haven’t been in a while, years to be quite honest. The food was good! The restaurant was clean! The booth seat was not comfortable and unfortunately needs redone. The service was ok. I’m not sure if it’s just me or if their waitresses are unhappy. This is what kept me from coming back for years. Then at the end we asked for “to go” containers for our left over soup that we just couldn’t eat all of. The waitress said “we usually charge for those containers but I won’t charge you all today”. I was shocked. Who charges for to go containers for your leftovers (that you pay for)? This is weird. And I’m hoping that the owner sees this review and makes changes. If you want the consumer to pay for “to go” containers then add that into the cost of your food and keep it hush hush. We don’t want to know every little fee nor should we have to pay for a “to go” container. That is absurd. Again, food was good. Even the lady at the register seemed irritable. I get it. Some days I don’t want to work either. I hope they have better days. We will come back because it is a pretty drive and good food! Please don’t charge for to go containers.“

“I was on vacation and went to buy a gift. I didn't have the time to stay long but wish I had! The view of the surrounding countryside is lovely, the wines I tasted were excellent, and the service was really helpful. They were able to give me some recommendations for which wine to get as a gift. The small gift shop also has some tasty and unique items.“

“The food used to be awesome! Now every time we eat there the chicken is hard and overcooked. I order 3 pc chicken dark and the skin is so hard most of the meat comes off along with the hard skin. Please stop overcooking 😩“

“I wont be forced into leaving a 18% tip and then leaving a space for another tip, be careful could screw yourself from 40 % of you bill..... the food is awesome, but a forced tip will be my last trip in the door. sucks to see this forced tipping trend, I will tip at my own discretion, but as I said never again til the 18% is removed. plus a 28 dollar piece of salmon if you want rice becomes 32, because thats 4 more dollars they dont tell you about, so with all the add ons and forced tips and 28 dollar salmon becomes 38 dollars....Definitely good but reduliculous hidden pricing.“

The desserts are to die for - special shout out to the cheesecakes. I tried strawberry, original and blueberry - all were fantastic but the blueberry has a special place in my heart. This is an outstanding family owned and ran business that supports diversity and inclusion. They have choices for everyone - comfort food, gluten free options, diabetic options, you name it. From the agricultural lesson in describing their product to the scents and tastes of the ciders, it is a full sensory experience. Even one of the ciders I didn't care for evoked memories. My favorite was the Pairing. One sip and I melted into my chair in full relaxation. It was the kind of taste where I could curl up in a blanket in a dusty old library with a book and just sip for hours. As I said - full sensory experience. “I got a to-go order & the Server/Bartender was on point. It was kind of hard to pull up a menu, so she helped me pick out the top flavors quick & easy for a wing order (my fav). Then upon arrival, I accidently had my card turned off and instead of her coming back telling me how it was denied - she knew what was up ... or atleast gave me the chance vs embarassing me. I just thought that was so sweet how she handled it... kudos. It seems hard to find decent customer service out here these days! She made it seem so easy ❤️“

The young blonde server had some friends walk in after us and skipped us completely and went right for her friends so it took that much longer to get service and food. I wasn't going to let that keep me from coming back though. Let's fast forward to yesterday my birthday brunch meal. Different server, different meal and different company I came with. Server was sweet, just didn't check to make sure we were happy with anything until we were ready for boxes. (She was saying bye to a friend that was leaving as she was coming to finally check to see how things were) BUT literally every bite I took from the Breakfast Brunch Burrito was heavenly! My guest had the Apple Pie pancakes and he was over the moon about them. So this visit definitely triumph the last, for sure! I will be back!“

When I arrived at the restaurant, I was immediately welcomed. The pick up process was simple and the food was hot and ready to go. I ordered chicken lo mein, vegetable fried rice, and a pork egg roll. All the food was excellent but the egg roll might be the best I’ve ever had!“
