“Great laid back BLACK culture spot with food and beverages that you will continue to return for!“

“I went on a Saturday, early afternoon. So the crowd was a factor on the ambiance. Too many people, so the whole system was overwhelmed. Took longer than usual time for seating and the service was slow. Out server was underage, which I admire on the work ethic factor, but we were seated in the Bar area. So she couldn't help us with our questions regarding the drinks. She would've been better positioned in the other areas of the restaurant.

There were minor mistakes in the orders, but nothing to fuss about. As I said, they were very busy and tiny details are bound to be missed.

Our server was very nice and tried to be attentive, so I commend her for keeping up and being so professional.

I would definitely come back, but not on a weekend.“

“After a 12 hour car ride to our hotel, this was an Amazing and Delicious dinner for our family of 4! Very affordable. We’ve paid a lot more for a lot less, and we even got dessert! Our kids rated it a 10 out of 5 and that’s huge for them. Highly recommend!! Will be back!“

“We poped online and made a reservation. The parking lot is big with lots of spots on the side. We arrived and got seated right away. Out waitress was great the appetizer came out quick and hot. The food all came out cooked correctly and tasted great. The portions were large and filled the plates up. I haven't been here in a while but left full and happy. “Had a great experience at Safa Halal Store in Marlow Heights, MD (right next to Subway). It’s 100% halal, which is a huge plus. I tried their mixed platter with gyro and chicken, and also got chicken tenders -
they were absolutely amazing, super fresh, and perfectly cooked.

Their sauces are honestly some of the best I’ve tasted; they really take the flavor to another level. The staff and owner are very friendly and welcoming, which makes the whole experience even better.

I also heard they recently introduced biryanis on their menu, so that’s definitely next on my list to try. Highly recommend this place if you’re looking for delicious halal food with great service.“

“First time customer, was pleasantly surprised! The St Louis style ribs, red skin potatoes was delicious! The string beans were cooked perfectly, just lacked a little seasoning. Purchased the jerk chicken for someone else, and that looked pretty good, didn’t taste it, so can’t really comment on that.“

“Unfortunately, the service did not meet my expectations. After our food was delivered, our server never returned to check on us or make sure we had everything we needed. We had to ask for items that should have accompanied the meal, including syrup, one of our side dishes, and water for the table.

The lack of attention continued throughout our meal. Dirty plates and used utensils remained on the table, even after one person had finished eating, yet no one made an effort to clear them, leaving the table cluttered and making the dining experience feel neglected.

When it was time to leave, I requested a to-go container for my remaining food. Although I was given the container, I was not offered a bag, so I had to carry it out by hand.

Good customer service isn't just about bringing food to the table—it's about checking on your guests, making sure they have everything they need, keeping the table clean, and ending the meal with the same level of care with which it began. Unfortunately, none of that happened during our visit.

“Small little greasy spot located on a fairly busy road. I want to say it used to be a KFC about 20 years ago. It has a drive through but no seating. Food is made to order. I had the French toast platter with home fries. My family had wings and fries. Nothing spectacular but it hits the spot if you’re hungry. Service was polite. The citrus seasoning is a definite don’t on the fried chicken. I like my wings fried hard and they delivered. Probably won’t go back because we don’t live near there but it was decently priced and filling.“
