“Very small homey, little restaurant, where everybody seemed to know everyone else. The waiters were all very nice and welcoming as well. It took a while for the food to come out and for the them to get us a check, but that's to be expected at such a small spot. I got the breakfast plate with a fish cake, potatoes, and scrambled eggs. The food wasn't amazing per se, but it was decent, and well cooked. I tried my mom's scrapple, and that was probably the best thing there. Overall, the restaurant had a very welcoming homey type vibe, and the food fit the restaurant.“

“Eggs & Sushi is a hidden gem!! I've driven down Fullerton a bunch of times and just never noticed it until today. We went ahead and checked it out for breakfast since it wasn't quite lunchtime - the food taste and quality was amazing! We had a egg and cheese on a bagel, a breakfast burrito, and a smoothie.The service is fantastic, everyone working behind the counter is so friendly.The food was prepared quickly and was hot and fresh. They also offer smoothies, assorted beverages, coffee, espresso drinks, and even have beers and sake. The atmosphere is like a really cute little deli with a few tables and a sushi bar.The prices are very reasonable for the quality and portions, we're definitely planning to come back for breakfast sometime and want to try their Japanese lunch options. I'd definitely recommend checking it out!“

“Sister and husband down with rehab and covid...ordered a meal delivered to them. Enough food for two meals, even the cheesecake pieces were large enough for 2 meals. More than pleased. I live in Oklahoma, appreciate being able to do this from afar“

“One of my favorite restaurants. I have never been disappointed. The steaks (served with sauce on the side) are perfectly cooked and flavorful. On my recent visit, I ordered the crab chowder, house salad, lamb chops, crab cakes and baked potato. Everything was delicious and the portion size more than I could eat. The staff and service were excellent. I highly recommend this place.“

“The food is good and fair priced. The staff is always courteous. What more can you ask for? My only complaint is the overcrowding. ? I just wish they’d open up another restaurant maybe within the town. Because if you’re a La Plata local you know the line is often out the door just to pick up your order! “Was a unique experience with exquisite cuisine perfectly seasoned with the right amounts of spices. I was blown away by the flavors in yhe food. The environment itself was surreal as if walking into Hello Kitty world with silk curtains for additional privacy for those dining in booths. Otherwise seating is open. Regarding service, you order at the front desk and pick up your own food when ready. However, the clerk is highly knowledgeable about the menu offerings. Highly recommend experiencing at least once.“

“First time there and I took the recommendation of the friendly counter person the “Livid Lamb” and Spicy fries. It’s fresh, tasty and an amazing alternative to the typical fast food burger places. Clean, friendly staff and good food very reasonably priced… what more can you ask for? Halal conscious but there’s bacon and booze too. Highly recommend!“

“I had a great time at Burton’s Grill (Alexandria) yesterday (9/30/23). The food was amazing, the drinks were good and strong. The staff was awesome. The GM came and introduced himself to us. “I will open with this; GW would be PROUD. The Mount Vernon Restaurant, compared to the thought of what it might be, is nothing short of a quaint and elegant establishment. For a restaurant embedded in a museum one would imagine the many grab and go or poor service options found in many if not all of the DC attractions nearby, but rest assured this is not that. The prices are affordable. The food is delicious. The service is wonderful. My only complaint? I was not expecting the shear amount of food coming my way. The chicken and waffles were simple and astounding. My partner's shrimp and grits were, in her words, "just like ma momma used to whip up!" The cornbread appetizer was fresh. Our drinks, neat and clean. The list goes on. I should also add that the menu was overwhelming... in a great way. I could hardly contain my giddiness when attempting to make my choice. If you are exploring the beauty of Mount Vernon with family or friends, or even on your lonesome, you have NO excuse to bypass this overachieving establishment.“

“My first time here. I have driven by many times but never stopped in. I was here for an event and was surprised on how comfortable and relaxed the environment is, very nice. The service was fantastic! Then came the food. I had one of the best Prime Rib dinners I have had in many years. Everyone's food was fabulous. “I am so impressed, having served 29 years in the Army was not sure what to expect -LOL Visited with two other Retired Soldiers, both of which I served with around the world. We were all impressed with the museum as a whole. Well done displays showing the Army throughout history, past to present, with as much info you could ask for. We met "Steve" a guide who really knew his stuff & had interesting facts/stories about the displays in his area. Museum is a must see for everyone, but especially Veterans as you will leave feeling connected & proud of your Service. Families will leave with a better understanding of military life.“

“Love this off the highway restaurant that fed my kids with food they could really eat. I had the chicken bowl and pork belly rice bowl and jerk chicken, which was great! The price was fair and good amount of food. We will be driving back to this place on our way home! The ladies at the counter were sweet and accommodating. All in all, so far, it's a great spot to eat.“

“I had the gyro sandwich with the sweet potato fries and it was good. Nothing to write home about but I don't have any major complaints. Unfortunately I was not impressed with the service. Our server was not very attentive and barely stopped by our table to ask if we needed anything. The place was not that crowded so I don't think being busy was the reason. The bill was also very high for what we got.“

“Came for brunch on a Saturday and sat at the bar. Bartenders were great to talk with, drinks lovely, and food very good. I can only speak to the atmosphere in the bar, but I thought it was very cool, laid back, with just the right amount of sophistication. I'm gluten free and there were enough choices that I felt I could pick from. Bathrooms were clean. Parking is easy but can look deceiving; the joint parking is for many businesses so hard to tell from outside how busy the restaurant is. I'd definitely be back again.“

Plus, the military discount is nice, but even without that, I would come back anyway. It's hard to find a good burger today, I mean a truly good burger.Vegetarian options: Plenty of vegetarian options, and all of it clearly labeled so you know exactly what you're getting. None of those mystery veggie patties here!“

“The folks at Goodies in Indian Head have always been very pleasant to me! Tonight they remembered me and grabbed my order to hand me before asking for my order number. They noted that that had not seen me in awhile and I relayed I had retired from the Navy base in Indian Head so wasn't going past their restaurant on a regular basis now. Food has always been good! Love their General Tso's Chicken wings!“

“We had not been here in a long, long time, but decided to go again after touring it as a potential venue for one of our son's weddings. Unfortunately, the size of the largest room could not accommodate his group, but we loved the location and ambiance. So my spouse and i went there to celebrate our anniversary last night. When I booked online, I had requested the oldest room, which dates back to the 1700's and has a huge fireplace, old walls, original floors. When we got there we were told that they had closed that room due to a wedding outside of it that we would be able to see through the windows, but had set a table up in there just for us, if we wanted to sit there. We were blown away and said yes. We had our own room, the waiter was VERY attentive, honestly, we felt like VIP's. This kind of treatment for folks who are not known or regulars was outstanding. The food was ok, not the very best, but nice. We are used to fine dining and outstanding food. Overall, the experience was lovely. We finished up the evening sitting in front of the huge old fireplace, with a roaring fire, sharing a dessert and sipping an after dinner drink. Cedar Knoll TAKE A BOW!“

“Looking for a fun activity with our family before Thanksgiving, we chose bowling. The prices were definitely cheaper than commercial locations. The place was clean with stations every few lanes with balls organized by color and weight. There were ramps available for anyone to use if necessary. There is also the ability to set bumpers to raise and lower for an individual in your group. You have the ability to edit your score, which is great because a few times pins would fall on their own and add to the score. There were options for scoring using regular bowling rules or other fun games. While we didn’t eat there, but there were plenty of food and drink selections. My only issue was the balls were very oily and the finger holes were very small. Staff said that’s how they were ordered but offered me a small container of baby powder to use.“

I found that although prices were up at Denny’s since my last visit the quality and quantity remained the same. The service was superb and I would highly recommend this place for a good breakfast.“

“Great bagel shop. Bagels taste fresh with good chew. Staff is always friendly and efficient. Highly recommend the challah, pumpernickel and blueberry bagels. Plain, cinnamon raisin, egg, chocolate chip are also solid options. The breakfast sandwiches are great. My go-to is bacon, egg & Monterey Jack cheese on a challah bagel. Hash browns are a patty. Greasy but tasty. Strawberry lemonade is good, too. Shop is clean.Parking: Parking lot can be a little crowded with so many shops, but never too difficult to find a space and the short-term parking spaces are almost always available.“

“Clean, well organized, and the staff here are always on top of it! My family comes here all the time, and every time my experience has been great. “This carryout has a nice small town feel. The restaurant is cozy, and the location is great. The menu looks really intriguing, enough to go back multiple times and try more items. The Smoked Turkey Club was a great sandwich to enjoy. However, what they call jerk chicken for their jerk chicken sandwich is anything but. It was a bit disappointing, but it won’t stop me from going back to try other menu items“
