Got a chicken kebab rice/salad bowl with multiple toppings and everything was delicious so compliments to the cook as well. I’m also a fan of Mediterranean and middle eastern food so I go to mezeh often.“

“At first we were a little surprised to be eating in a Days Inn -- and Al-Madani is unassuming atmospherically. However, the food was flavorful and delicious (aloo palak, lamb tikka kabobs, garlic naan), and the staff were wonderfully kind and caring. “The chicken was great, and the cashiers friendly, seems like most people order carry out and a lot of deliveries. I was glad to learn that I could get no heat on the chicken for my child. The fries are a really good size, too. Lemonade is not from fresh lemons but has an ok taste to it.

Parking: Parking is in the same building, free 2 hour parking as of now, seems like it might change once the residential place is situated and has habitants.“

“Loved eating here. The restaurant smelled faintly of incense, which was a welcome ambiance. Tables are layed out well so it doesn't feel cramped. The space is nice and bright with beautiful decor. The staff were friendly and very attentive. Service was fast and the food was absolutely delicious! Loved every single thing I ordered:

Sheer chai — this tea had a nice balance of milk and sugar

Mantoo classic — these beef dumplings were full of flavor and served at the right temperature, hot but not too much to burn your mouth

Lamb shank — the sauce was packed with flavor and the meat fell off the bones. It came with rice that was a lovely buttery complement to the lamb

Sheer berenj — had this for dessert and it was very refreshing. It's not milky and the pistachios on top added a nice nutty flavor to the rice pudding

Green tea with cardamom — nice way to end dinner“

“They have very delicious Halal food for Muslims, the taste is very good, the quantity is great and the price is awesome! If you go to another restaurant for Halal food you will pay more than Naz’s at least $5 more!
Also they have a very wonderful chocolate with pistachio, it’s so delicious ??
I tried a chicken plate, wings and the pistachio chocolate and really I will go again and again. The staff were so friendly always smiling and so helpful.

Any restaurant that serves halal food has higher prices than this. I tried the chicken wings, they were very sweet, and also the chocolate with pistachio was more than amazing.“

“This was my first time eating at this establishment, I was recommended by my grown children to try it; I'm glad that I did. We went in person to order and pick up the food. The staff was very helpful, respectful and nice, the establishment is clean and you can see how they prepare their/your food. I ordered their steak and cheese with wedge fries, it was so yummy. Very nice environment and they care about their patrons. I'm definitely going to eat from there soon. Landover 's best kept secret.“

“They have a very unique specialty pizza with gyro meat that is amazing and unlike any other I have found. So yum. Also, when I had one bad delivery experience after usually good service, they went out of their way to make it up to me on the next order. Great pizza, (usually) good service, and a refreshing concern for keeping this regular customer happy. 👍“

“I went by to the location in PG plaza Mall in Hyattsville when I first entered the establishment I waited a second since there was one person that was serving another customer, I was than greeted and asked what I would like. I ordered a lamb bowl and a chicken shawarma, paid for l my order then went home. When I had my bowl it was just like I ordered but when I saw the dismay of my fiancés face something appeared to be wrong. I looked at the wrap it appeared to be prepared sloppy , falling apart and runny from juices of the ingredients. He said he didn’t want it and I returned to the place to try to get a refund. To make the story short the manger of the store wasn’t of any help but staff did suggest me getting another sandwich. I reluctantly agreed despite my fiancé not wanting a sandwich because of presentation. The person who made my sandwich spoke in her native tounge with another staff and was nonchalant about the situation but Christain was eager to make things right.“

That said, I’m older (78) and don’t live around the corner. But I keep coming back (eight years and counting). I go for the chicken and salmon salads.

“Update: since this experience I haven't had one nearly as bad as this the pizza is good and the cheesecake is delicious glad I tried it again after the bad first impression. ?
I know it's the Superbowl but I really can't accept this experience. Driver was amazing even went back to the restaurant to get an extra pizza. Reason why because our order took over 2 hours to get here and unfortunately they didn't even bring us 1 of the pizza we actually ordered. We got 2 random meat covered pizzas and all we ordered was extra cheese & chicken. The extra pizza was nice but I'm still not happy with getting 2 pizzas I can't eat. Wings are good but this was a terrible experience. Glad I ordered them since it was the only think I could eat from a $50 order. I think what we originally ordered would've been good and I could've eaten this one if not for the other meats. Ordered through slice.“

“I come to this Mezeh at least 3 times a week. So much so that the employees recognize me when I come in. I am amazed to see these one star ratings. As many times as I have come in, they have been nothing but gracious and provide outstanding customer service. I read some of these one star ratings and with the exception of the delivery for the corporate affair, I question some.

As a native Ward 8 member I was elated to see Mezeh and other corporate chains coming into my community. But I also realized that there would be challenges (which is why it is so hard to keep such businesses here). I’m gone say it… some of my fellow Anacostians just are not respectful. I have seen some come in the store and because they have to pay extra for extra meat or something more that they want, they go off. I one time had to say something because it was so innapropriate and unwarranted. It’s like they try to bully the workers because they are not black.

I hate to say this but it happens too much not in just this store but others and I’m tired of seeing establishments shut down because employees don’t want to be threatened or harmed. Walmart pulled out from being over here because they were going to have to pay too much for security and the Giant has threatened to pull out as well. IHOP is closed, the 7/11 on Barry Ave closed, Subway use to stay open 24 hours but had to stop because of this craziness. We can’t keep nothing over here and it’s not the establishment, it’s us not knowing how to receive customer service. I know these are hard times but damn.

This is a great store and I have only been in Starbucks and The Smoothie store and they are trying to make it in a tough area. Good Luck yall cause I wouldn’t put up with some of this bull. Peace“

“Mezeh always has great food but they were not prepared for the massive conference influx during the lunch rush. Doors need to be open for better air flow and maybe a few extra hands on staff. Over an hour wait in a hot stuffy room was difficult. In the end I got my delicious salad...but no pita :(“

“My wife and I were looking for a halal chinese spot while visiting DC and this was highly recommended on DoorDash so gave it a shot. Safe it say DoorDash's reviews were right! One of the best chinese food I had in the USA so far. And it's halal. We had the friend rice with chicken, Mongolian beef and beef with broccoli. All of the 3 were phenomenal. All the halal Chinese food I had in the US was sub-par but this is an exception. Will definitely eat at this place again when in DC and highly recommend!

“Great pre-set or customizable bowls and a great variety of options for proteins, bases, toppings, and sauces. I have also tried some of the wraps and liked them. I recommend getting the sexygreens with 1/2 paneer and 1/2 chicken, tomato garlic sauce, sauteed spinach, charred eggplant, kachumber salad, roasted lentils, cilantro, mint cilantro chutney or the spicy coriander chutney. The chai cookies are lovely and go well with the fountain tea or masala chai that they now offer hot or cold.

The service at this location is good. Takeout orders are prepared fairly quickly.“

“I love the food. Each location a little different from the other. Food so far has been better than the service. I usually get take out/togo but this time I ate in the restaurant. The first time that I did a build your own bowl, I felt like I had been shorted because my bowl didn’t have as much as some of the other customers bowls who had ordered their prefixed bowls. The second time I went, I asked for two scoops of hummus, two scoops of spicy hummus, two scoops of Greek yogurt and I asked for extra egg plant. They pretty much gave me what I asked for, and I only had one serving of their protein, but filled my bowl up with other things., I was able to eat that over the course of the day.“
