“My daughter and son-in-law brought us to the Bayard House over the Christmas holidays 2024, and we were impressed-with the food, the service, the atmosphere, and the views! We wanted to do something special for our Army Captain daughter, Noella Rogers, when she promoted to Major yesterday. Remembering how much she and her husband, Jeff, love Bayard House, we called about getting a gift card. Chris Amon, (not sure of the spelling), Assistant General Manager, answered. When he told me that we'd have to come in and purchase it, I told him that we lived in Texas, so that wouldn't be possible. I was about to hang up, but Chris asked where my daughter lives. When I told him, he said that he lived close to her town and volunteered to hand-deliver it! Wow! He didn't have to do that! Not only did he hand-deliver it this morning, April 24th, he bought and placed it inside a card for her. Talk about going above the call of duty! Bayard House, hang onto Chris because that guy is gold! Everyone else, if you haven't tried it out yet, go get you something wonderful to eat at Bayard House! Chris, we look forward to thanking you in person the next time we come to Maryland for a visit!“

“I went to Woody's Crab House in North East, MD, on Saturday May 24, 2025. It was my 11th wedding anniversary. It was also, my first time going there. I am so thankful to the people that recommended Woody's. Everything was wonderful. Food was delicious and my group had Michelle as our server. She made our experience there exceptional. The food was so fresh that it has its own flavor besides the seasoning. Go experience it for your self. All 5 in my party wants to go back. “The staff there is absolutely incredible. We visited after eating at the restaurant and we’ve never had an experience like we did at an ice cream shop before. Kind, personable, and caring is how I would describe the two young ladies we encountered. They even helped us win some rubber ducks in the claw machines! Not to mention the ice cream was AMAZING. Visiting Woodys Ice Cream Alley is going to be a family tradition now every time we are in the area!“

“Are at the North East location for the second time tonight. We had great service at the bar from Maria. The food was delicious. Guacamole was so fresh tasting and we loved the tamales, enchiladas, and tacos. “Restaurant atmosphere great. Crabs were delicious and came out piping hot. Sides choices were coleslaw and fries. Pasta salad is another choice. Cole slaw didn’t look nor taste fresh so we passed and ate the AYCE fries which were abundant and piping hot upon arrival to the table every time.

Everything was really good and I would come back again. Just have a few things I wanted to comment on. First, AYCE fries were always piping hot and cooked just right. Second, as the servers brought a fresh order of crabs over, they didn’t remove the container from the previous order which didn’t make for a lot of room on the table. Our server who took the bucket of shells took the container that was left behind with him. Overall we loved our crabs, never felt rushed and will come back again.“
