“This was my first experience with Korean food and it did not disappoint. Everything was freshly made by the mother and son who own and operate the restaurant. The beef dumplings were melt in your mouth delicious and fresh. The chicken with sweet onions I could eat every day. The portions are large... definitely enough for a meal or two the next day. The overall experience was fantastic.“

“So definitely not what you expect outside looking in. The bar like atmosphere is very chill, from the music to the seating. Pick a comfy couch with a table or regular comfortable seats at a table (equally comfortable). The lighting low and all good vibes. The food was delicious we forgot to take pictures, but the kimchi pancake (kimchi jeon) the Korean fried chicken and the bulgolgi quesadilla were all delicious. We like Korean better than anything else so we had Krush with honey do soju aka (somaek) the two were great together. The staff was awesome, and very chill (if you need constant attention from your server this is not the place for you, honestly). We loved the service, food and drinks came out in a reasonable time. I also had the Hechi (cocktail) it was delicious. Ordering isn't them coming to ask but an electronic screen with the full menu with pictures so very easy to order. Overall an awesome experience and will definitely be back!!!“

“Very convenient distance from our hotel—just a two or three minute walk. It took a minute or two for us to figure out the right place to start in the line, and no one helped us at first when we got there. The employee who helped us was nice, but they had a difficult time hearing what I was saying, and at one point filled my bowl with something I didn't ask for. The other employee at checkout asked what base and protein I had gotten—it would have been easy to lie and get a cheaper meal.

The food itself was great, and I was happy with the price point. I think the experience could be improved with labels on the glass to point at so employees don't mishear me, as well as some way of marking the bowls so the cashier doesn't have to ask what I got.“

Other than that this place is extremely solid. The bulgogi is usually rich in flavor, veggies are fresh, rice is nice and soft.

My order: white rice, bulgogi, half cucumber, half carrot, creamy sriracha? Chipotle?, sesame oil and seeds. Then when I get home I cook an over easy egg and throw it in. Lasts me three delicious meals!“

“Entrees are a $17 and up but the portions are big. It's a food court so I only tipped 10% but I guess you could also not tip. Pictures show 3 entrees but we got 4. Two of them were the bolgogi beef.

If we had gone to a restaurant then it would have cost more than $120 but here it was $80. My seafood ramen was good and huge. Husband enjoyed his katsua chicken and dad & son enjoyed their bulgogi rice bowls.

I told him I didn’t appreciate being called a diva. I just don’t like being treated like I’m a problem when I haven’t done anything. “You have got to ask for Jay Kim, he is the best server in the house. He was patient and ever so helpful with us as first time hot potters. I had a vegetarian hot pot, well, except for the dumplings. Although they have no vegetarian options, he worked with me and provided me with an alternate option. It would be more awesome for them to add it to their menu tho for those of us who just love veggies. The broth is vegetarian based so it makes sense to have a vegetarian option along with it. We had a party of 8 and Jay Kim made it so much fun!!! The food was absolutely delicious. Everything was so fresh. One other option that would have been great to have would be fresh ginger at the sauce bar and mushrooms on the vegetable plate. We were all pleasantly pleased with our food. The ambiance is very nice, low light but more than enough to cook and enjoy each other's company. Jay Kim made sure we always had what we needed. The sauce bar was amazing, so many choices. I recommend making a few bowls, some for the broth and and some for dipping your cooked food. If you get any type of meat, also make a sauce to marinade the meat. You don't have to but it made a good difference. Meats are thinly sliced for quick cooking and again,so fresh. The price was worth the amount of food and the experience. There is an all you can eat option or an a la carte option where you just get one meat selection and a vegetable plate which was more than enough for us as a party of young ladies. This was a great first hot pot experience and I definitely recommend it, just make sure to ask for Jay Kim. I know you will enjoy it!!!“

The two managers there always do their best to accommodate you. The prices for drinks are great if you compare them to DC. If you are looking for a a fun and great time, this is it!“

“I order the lemon pepper every time. Saucy and quite literally drenched with flavor. I love KFC (korean fried chicken) and this is the best in the county. If I want candied chicken meat- this is where I go. The wing skin is like biting into a lollipop then your teeth sink into the flesh and the chicken taste bursts into your mouth . Phenomenal . “This is my go to spot whenever I am craving a good bowl of Seol Lung Tang or Bibim NangMyun. For the Seoul Lung Tang, don’t forget to add salt and for spice, add their hot pepper paste- this is a must. We usually order their haemul pajun to start. It’s a huge serving and oh so good. Korean comfort food!“

“You can’t get better soup than from a place that specializes in it. The seollongtang had plenty of noodles and meat. The galbitang had a savory broth, lots of meat — great flavor all around. The haemul pajeon was crispy and stuffed with seafood.

The standout item was the kong-guksu. Dad had been craving it as it was a favorite of his in childhood. He has tried it at other places and wasn’t impressed. Here, he finished the whole thing and would’ve licked the bowl clean.

Note: the soups are under-salted so you can customize them to your liking. The salt containers on each table have enough salt to please any saltaholic.“

Owners are very friendly and always greet you with smile. It’s a self-serve restaurant in a food court, but they answer your questions in a nice manner and appreciates you dining with them.

The food is so gooood. Cold buckwheat soba is a must-try here, especially during summer. There is a bowl of sauce that you mix wasabi and minced raddish, and you put buckwheat noodles into the sauce and eats it from there. Other buckwheat noodle dish are solid as well if you want something warm or hot to heat you up.

Over the summer, I go to this restaurant at least once a month, if not more. I highly recommend this restaurant for anyone who wants to eat healthy noodles with diverse flavor.“
