“I love to come here with my friends after school. The pizza melts are almost always good, and usually great. The seats in the back have a nice atmosphere, and the employees are chill. I don’t know why this potbelly has worse reviews than the others in our area, because every time i get a pizza melts from a different potbelly it has less stuff and is just worse. The friendship heights potbelly will always have a spot in my heart.

Parking: Very small free lot: Otherwise find street parking or use the paid underground lot.“

Food is amazingly good! I got a Classic Smashburger and was floored by the flavor. Just be sure to use napkins The fries are fantastic and normally I hate waffle fries but these were some of the best fries I've had in a while. The sauces that came with it were great.

My father got some peri peri chicken (hot) and that was also delicious. No one at the table had anything bad to say about the food.

Dude running the register was super nice and gave us tons of sauces for free. He was very attentive to us and personable.“

“Our son lives in the area and we have been here 4-5 since January ( every time we visit) The owners are wonderful and the staff very attentive The fish taco appetizer is wonderful ( can be enough for an entree if not wanted a big meal) I’ve had many of the entrees and never a bad meal . “One of my favorite places for lunch! While they mainly offer salads, there are choices of warm bowls and grilled wraps too—you can get it as is, or have it customized. Lots of toppings to pick from. Good variety of dressings too, and if you need, they can give you a sample of the dressing to try first.

Staff are friendly and efficient. Even during the lunch rush, I never have to wait too long, the line moves fairly quick. If it’s your first time here, I suggest looking over the menu first so you’re not holding up the line looking at all the topping choices, it can be overwhelming. Also, they have a good amount of seating—benches, high tops and tables, and a few tables outside.“

“I came here during my lunch break on a weekday. All the pizza options were available and I got the buffalo chicken slice. I don't make that much $, but the pricing was totally worth it. ($6 I believe) The pictures don't do it justice, but if you like NY style thin crust with that grease drip, you'll love this. The crust had that dough bubble that I love, and you could hear the crunch echo throughout the cafeteria. I would love to see some gluten-light offerings in the future but for now? A quick bite for good quality? You won't be disappointed.“

“This place is a true local gem. Food is of very high quality, and everything is consistently cooked to perfection. Their consistency is actually really impressive - I’ve never been disappointed by a single thing, and I’ve eaten A LOT of their food. “Came in on a hot day (July 2025). Loved the noodles, ease of ordering on the monitors and good seating to work thru lunch break. The customer service was 12 out of 10. All the workers were friendly and attentive. They greeted everyone, cleaned up after each guest, and asked every customer how they were doing and if they needed anything. Kudos to the ladies in the kitchen. I do think the AC is broken so it can’t be easy. There were also no bathrooms so I wasn’t able to wash my hands.“

“We visited DC this weekend from NC. I went to DC Vegan with my non-vegan husband. Two days later he's still raving about the chick'n cutlet club. He said it was the best "chicken" sandwich he ever had and I can't convince him it was actually vegan 😆 Well done friends 👏👏 I had the artichoke bowl which was fantastic and the cheesecake is to die for! “I had visited a Chopt once before, but my recent visit truly stood out. This particular location is one of the cleanest and friendliest I have encountered.

I received a warm welcome from the staff, and I was impressed by the expanded menu offerings, especially the addition of steak and salmon. Carlos, one of the managers, recommended the Southwestern Steak Salad with avocado and a blend of chipotle ranch and Mexican Goddess dressing. It was absolutely delicious!

Despite it being a busy lunch and seemingly fewer employees working, Carlos took the time to provide recommendations, and his suggestion was perfect. I will definitely be returning.

“I like Chopt salads and especially like the kiosks in this location. It greatly speeds up getting your order.

My only complaint is that they need to stop letting homeless people come in and sleep at the tables. A woman was asleep at a table for over half an hour without buying anything. Nobody said anything while paying customers had nowhere to sit.“

“Excellent place. The falafel wrap was outstanding chock full of falafel with the requisite salad, hummus and tehini. Even better when you add some hot pepper mix for a little spice. Spouse enjoyed the falafel platter which included a side of pita. Their fries were great, very crunchy. Their food is very authentic to various middle eastern countries that I have visited. The place is comfy, booths and a few tables. Service was quick and excellent. The owner is Palestinian and surely deserves our support. We highly recommend!“

Also the food is delicious, there’s good variety and the seating is comfy. My only complaint is the water faucets were really hot last time I visited but maybe that was a fluke.

“I've been a happy customer at the Courthouse location for 5 years. The staff are super nice and caring! The food is always delicious and prepared beautifully..recommend the falafel bowl, tofu salad, Greek yogurt items, smoothies, avocado toast, soup, and cookies. Very fresh ingredients.

Dietary restrictions: There are many healthy vegetarian options..none of the super processed mock meats are offered. Some of the side items are a huge portion too. Salads that have meat or dairy could be modified easily with vegetarian or vegan options. Vegan soup option is fantastic.“

“I love Chopt Salad, and I come to this location at least once a week. The ingredients are always so fresh. What I am disappointed in is the service after 3pm. I walk in at 545pm and only 2 people ahead of me, and 4 gentleman behind the counter. Grant it they are cleaning up, but ignoring customers, and leave one gentleman to pack salads, chop, and ring customers is unacceptable. Bad customer service will definitely have me going next door to roti.“

“This is my 2nd time going to a CAVA location. The first time I dined in. This time I ordered food to go.

The food is Greek Mediterranean. In comparison to Chipotle. I prefer CAVA food. It is definitely healthier.
