“We have nothing but great dining experiences at Rimtang. It’s our go-to Thai spot in Georgetown and always hits the spot. Our favorite dishes are the crab dumplings, the ka praw with pork (add an egg!), and the pad see ew. Service is always on point, they have a kind and attentive staff. Highly recommend!“

“Cozy restaurant with big personality. Our server was happy to be there and answer any questions asked. We got the steamed dumplings and crab Rangoon. By far the best crab Rangoon we’ve enjoyed to date. Will be back to try the drunken noodles!“

“I’m going to post the same review I gave on Yelp - this is a 5 Star place! After a day in DC, my family decided to try Soul Thai on our way home. What a terrific Experience. The staff were friendly and helpful. The food was some of the best Thai we have ever had. The Pad Thai was amazing. The Hang Over Noodles (Drunken Noodles) was exceptional. And the red curry was by far the best I’ve had in the area. The ambiance was quite pleasant as well. Initially we were sat in an area that was a little noisy for our taste, but they graciously moved us to a much quieter section. The owner, Nancy came over after our meal and was very appreciative of our comments on the meal. She shared with us that she personally picks the freshest ingredients she can find to ensure the quality of the food. I would highly recommend Soul Thai to everyone. We will be coming back soon. THANK YOU, Nancy!!!!“

“Eatsy Thai is excellent. I always get the drunken noodles with shrimp and am never left disappointed.
All the other dishes I’ve tried have also been very good. It’s also convenient as they stay open much later than other restaurants in the Eden Center.

“WOW! I live in DC and have tried basically every Thai place in DC but rarely make it to VA. Thai is some of my favorite food. My main complaint with most DC places is that the food is NOT spicy enough. Not the case here! I got the drunken noodles tonight and hands down they were the spiciest best I've had in the area! Love this place! New favorite Thai spot in the DMV! I'll be back and VERY SOON! THANK YOU FOR MAKING THAI FOOD SPICY AS IT SHOULD BE!“

“I have eaten here thrice before. with my colleagues. I ordered the basil fried rice with vegetable and chicken. It was bursting with fresh flavors and wonderfully intense spiciness. Everything is so clean, and the staff is friendly and efficient! We were the last ones to leave and never felt rushed or like we were being a nuisance to the staff. I had a third, wonderful experience and i highly recommend it!“

“This has become our go to place not just for Thai, but for comfort food. Dine in or take out- always delicious. Pad Thai, Green Curry, and pork curry are our tops.
One thing that would make this place a 6/5 is if they can officially say their sushi is gluten free— which feels like a really small ask 🙏🏼“

“I want to personally thank the wonderful staff at this restaurant! I was quite ill and not only to take give me medicine with. They drove me to the store so that I could get medicine and clean up. The kindness was incredible and I actually cried because of that kindness.. I can’t wait to get back to DC to show them how much I appreciate everything they did! I will always remember what you did. “This is an excellent outing and what a nice surprise! Started with crispy calamari and empanadas. My husband had curried chicken soup and I had pad thai. Everything was delicious and piping hot! Service was delightful! We will definitely be back!“

“We are visiting from Tennessee and wanted authentic Thai cuisine. We found it at Sampannee!!! The best Thai meal I have ever eaten. The cocktails were delicious and the food was perfection! “I’ve been visiting this restaurant for dine in and to-go for a few years now. The vibe is chill and the servers are always so nice. The food is always good except the dumplings- not a huge fan but the other things are delicious and fresh. The raw rolls are very tasty and they have a great happy hour.

“Wow. One of the best Thai restaurant I had in awhile. Noting about the menu is Americanize and true Thia taste . Being that I am half Laos I love the laos papaya salad here because a lot of thai Resturant try to do laos papaya salad and it just don’t taste the same . The chef is actually laos . The Resturant is calm and soothing atmosphere , good for intimate dinner or family gatherings.“

“Great experience. The food and friendly atmosphere reminded us of our time in Thailand. We tried several dishes, all of which came out right. Service was attentive, and the the restaurant was tidy, with an overall neighborhood feel. Passing through the area the next day, we decided to stop in again, and left equally satisfied. Seemed to be vouched for by local patrons. We observed out-of-state visitors enjoying the hospitality; commenting positively and engaging with staff between the comings and goings by a steady flow of pick order patrons. “This is the best thai restaurant in NoVA, owned by such a lovely family, who also used to own Happy Thai near Mosaic. We know because we used to go to Happy Thai all the time but since the owner change it wasn’t the same. Through luck we learned that the owner family actually owned this restaurant first! We were ecstatic and indeed, it was the familiar taste that we remember from Happy Thai 2-3 yrs ago!“

“First time patron of Birdsong and all I can say is wow oh wow - this restaurant did not disappoint! The menu was innovative, the cocktails and food were beautifully crafted/plated, and every dish my party tried was delicious, although the shrimp dish was certainly a fav. Aside from the wonderful food, the ambiance was lovely and the entire staff was friendly and attentive, making for an exceptional overall experience. Can’t wait for my next visit!!“
“Was disappointed that almost half of the menu was not available when we visited during lunch hours. Wanted to try the mac n cheese, crab cakes, ribs… none were available. Service was also a bit dismissive. We happened to come on a very hot day and there was no AC - it was just as hot as outside. Still giving 4 stars as the food we did have was good. Especially enjoyed the wings and breakfast wrap.“

“I ordered takeout for my family on the way home from my son's soccer game. We got home and realized there was no rice for the three curry dishes. I called the restaurant, and they apologized and then drove half an hour in a thunderstorm to deliver the rice to us. The food was amazing, and the service was perfection. “First time visiting and plan to come back soon. CJ at the bar was awesome and makes delicious cocktails and was very friendly and welcoming. Nat was also very helpful and let my fiend and I know about Happy Hour specials so we know when to optimize our return visit!
