“First time trying out Mint and it was good. The chicken tikka masala was very uniquely spiced and was quite good. The stuffed naan was also very good. The service was a bit absent, and being the only table in the place for most of our meal is more of an attention issue than staff or too many patrons. I would try it again for sure but absolutely have other Indian restaurants in the area that are my go to before this one.“
“Food is excellent and seasoned perfectly. Service is on point. However, the price is a bit steep for a buffet and keeps me from visiting more often, hence the 4 stars. It will be nice for this restaurant to finally get some competition in Ellicott City soon.Dietary restrictions: Dairy-free and vegan friendly.“
“I was working in the area and Tandoor Spice was 1.5 miles from my last stop. I discovered it by other good reviews so tried ordering on my phone so I could pick it up. When it came to submit there was a little spinning circle and it continued until I arrived in the parking lot. I went inside and the nice gentleman apologized, checked the system and when he couldn’t see the order hung up in the system, he took my order right away. I ordered Butter Chicken and Garlic Naan. For the inconvenience he threw in a complimentary dessert. Got to the hotel and had a very good meal. More than I could eat in one sitting. Medium spice was perfect for me.“
“Had several dishes here, and they were all great. Don't be afraid to ask for it spicy and that's how you get it. Service was excellent and prompt, food came out very quickly. Pricing was very reasonable for the area and the portion provided.Parking: Plenty of easy, free parking directly in front of the business.“
“Went here for dinner after seeing an Instagram reel about the place. Ordered the chicken tikka pizza, paneer tikka pizza, and masala chaat and all were delicious. It was also nice that the dishes had a choice of spice level. Very flavorful chicken tikka as well.“
“Good food here. We come here often for Momo (Nepalese dumplings) and Goat Bhutan. It is outstanding! I also like their Nepalese style curry. Feels like home cooked meal. Garlic naan is just perfect. Atmosphere could be a little better, but we come here just for the food.“
“I wouldn’t have known this hidden gem was here if not for Google. They sell fresh produce and packaged items in the grocery store, they have a cute seating area in the back, and they sell some of the most delicious, flavorful food I’ve bought from a restaurant in a while. The owner was so nice as well. I got the chicken corn soup, chicken roast with polao (yum!), I don’t know what type of samosas these were. Check them out!Dietary restrictions: Halal. Vegetarian options available.Wheelchair accessibility: Ramp accessible“
“Excellent service from workers and owners who take so much pride in the restaurant. Tandoori wings had perfect crispy and spice and the butter chicken was some of the best I’ve ever had. Lovely clean atmosphere in a quiet nook of Columbia. Highly recommend.“
“Chutney Indian Restaurant is a beautiful restaurant. My wife and I love Indian cuisine and we went there to celebrate her birthday. The service was outstanding and the food was amazing. I highly recommend this restaurant and we will be returning soon.“
“The food was delicious but a couple of things:1. It was a damp, rainy night. The temp inside the restaurant was 61F. We were cold. Even though the food came out hot, the utensils and plates were cold. Our hands got chilly while waiting so we asked for tea. Since we had asked for the thermostat to be raised (but it couldn't be for some odd reason), I thought the tea might have been provided complementary. No. $5 for two. We ate with our winter jackets on like the other guests that night. 1 star for atmosphere.2. Most of their meat dishes are marinated in milk. For the lactose intolerant, there are only 4 or 5 dishes that are vegan - the closest you can get to no milk. These are not indicated on the menu so you have to ask.Like I said, the food was excellent, 4 stars. I loved the chicken korma and daal tarka. My wife thought the alu gobi was a bit too spicy/hot for her liking, but she really likes mild. I didn't mind. But I'd have to recommend you call and ask what the inside temperature is before dining in. Lots of folks were picking up to go, so they could just leave their jackets on too!“
“My friends and I decided to go here for a girls night out. We had never been before and didn't know what to expect. On the outside, it looks much smaller than it actually is. It has a surprisingly large and beautiful interior. The ambience of the place was very calm and elegant. There was only two other customers at the time we went so it was very quiet. I think because of that, the service was incredible. The server we had made sure we were fully taken care of and even cracked some jokes to keep the mood light. It was a lot of fun. The food was prepared efficiently and tasted phenomenal. One of my friends is a picky eater and even she loved the food. I was even able to get a vegan meal that was very filling and delightful. The parking is free and ample. You will not have to worry about finding a spot. I will say though, if you go at a busier time and day, you might have to park a bit farther out but it's really not the long of a walk, especially on a good sunny day. I would love to go back either by myself or with friends and family.“
“I hadn't been here in years - and I'd forgotten just how exquisitely wonderful the whole experience is at Ananda! My daughter and I came here to celebrate my birthday - and Ananda did not disappoint! My mood was majorly elevated the moment we walked in the door and took in the gorgeous lavishness that is Ananda. From the warm and welcoming greeting to the decadent desserts this was a 5+ experience! We had Vegetable Samosa Chaat for an appetizer (enough for a whole meal!), Mint and Chili Naan (you must try!), Lamb Vindaloo, Fish Curry, and a side of Palak Paneer. For drinks we had the non-alcohol Organic Berry Smash and Goji Iced Tea both of which were delicious! Although stuffed and sated we HAD to get dessert (it was my birthday, right?) and ordered the Gulab Jamun (oh so warm and scrumptious) and the Flourless Chocolate Torte w/ ice cream. Wait staff and servers were all extremely personable, friendly, efficient, and kind. Ananda is a just tad on the pricey side - but worth every penny! I can't wait to go back! :)“
“A severely underrated gem of Laurel. The food is always incredible - I always get the Paneer Makhani and it’s amazing every single time. My boyfriend and I come here and get an appetizer, two mango lassis, two paneer makhanis, two orders of garlic naan, and a dessert for around $70. It’s very reasonably priced and worth every penny.“
“The food was really good, the paneer butter masala was amazing. The host was kind and showed me to my table and refilled my table’s water multiple times during my time there. The mango lassi also had quite an exquisite taste and was delicious. I definitely recommend this to anyone who loves Indian food as the restaurant makes the food to fit your taste as I don’t really eat spicy food. Keep up the great work!“
“I had not dined at House of India for a long time and decided to have dinner here while I was in the neighborhood last night, a Saturday. Dinner was wonderful -- vegetable samosas (spicy but not too much!), chicken tikka, roti. Wine by the glass did not seem over-priced compared to trend I've been seeing at other places, and it was a generous quantity that lasted through the meal. Restaurant interior is nicely decorated and feels very cozy at the same time, though they look ready to handle a crowd. I'm glad that they have avoided putting up any large TV screens, which can spoil dining out rather than provide a distraction, in my opinion.“
“We had lunch buffet, one time, and they look at all the time, fuck is wonderful. Restaurant is under new ownership and ownerships are warm and hospitality is wonderful.I highly recommended trying the salmon and spinach chat.Lunch buffet is stocked with multiple fragrant, vegetarian, and non-vegetarian dishes.“
“Good affordable Indian and Pakistani food. Portions were were great and allow you to add different types of other Indian dishes as a side for only an extra $1 or $2. Really good deal honestly. The food is good and above average but don’t expect too out of this world. One of the kabobs felt a little burned and the garlic naan could use a little more garlic. The lamb biryani was probably one of my favorites and it was a huge portion. Will be back for quick affordable Indian food.“
“Absolutely loved this place! The food was excellent, especially the new strawberry cheesecake and the banana pudding - both were incredible. The pastries and chicken keema burger were also delicious. Service was great too. Highly recommend!“
“We had a delicious meal of Aloo Paratha which was fresh off the grill and so good dipped in the sauce. We also really enjoyed the Lamb Kathi roll which was a little spicy for the kids but I thoroughly enjoyed it. We will definitely return for yummy authentic Indian food.“
