“The food was absolutely delicious! I come from West Virginia but every time I visit DC I stop by this restaurant at least once! Butter chicken pizza is a fav! Nana is also super tasty! We had the chicken Vindaloo and the Samosa Chaat and both were also fantastic! We were trying to decide between a few different chicken dishes and the server said dont worry i'll bring you the vindaloo and you'll love it! And we did! I will keep coming here every time I visit DC!“

“Absolutely true to its name. House of India is the place to be if you appreciate authentic Indian cuisine and excellent service. It’s not only having a dinner , it’s having a memorable experience. Loved everything about it. The food is exceptionally great, the service is outstanding. The owners under new management goes above and beyond to make every guests feel welcome. Highly recommend this place.“

“Probably the best Indian restaurant I've been to in Howard County. I dine in and order takeout, while preferring the latter. Being a pure vegetarian, there are many vegetarian options and there's no compromise on the quality. We generally order a vegetarian thali alongside kuttu parotha and a vegetarian appetizer.
Among all the delicacies that I've tried at Sangam, I've loved the Kadai paneer biryani, paneer pepper fry, chilli baby corn, south indian thali, kuttu parotta, malai kofta, navaratan korma to name a few. But the appetizers are really crunchy and tasty.“

“I recently visited this restaurant and had a really nice experience overall. The food tasted fresh and authentic, with rich flavors and good portion sizes. I especially liked the biryani and paneer dishes — they were well-cooked and nicely spiced.
The service was warm and welcoming. The staff were polite and attentive, and the food was served on time without long waiting. They also helped with recommendations, which made the experience better.

“I’ve been eating food at this place for a few years. The food always tastes amazing especially if you are looking for South Indian style. One of the only places that will serve Pulao as well as a variety of Biryanis. The staff and owner are also very nice and serve the food with a lot of care“

“Their catering services were truly impressive — the food was high quality, flavorful, and very well prepared. We requested a few items that were not on the menu, and they accommodated them without any hesitation. Another thing we really appreciated was their willingness to cater for a small gathering of about 10 people, especially since many other caterers we approached would not accept orders for fewer than 25 people. They handled everything professionally and with great care. Overall, an excellent experience and wonderful service.“

“Recently ordered panini sandwiches (chicken and paneer) for a lunch party and all our guests LOVED them. The bread was nice and thick to hold the tasty and well-cooked paneer /chicken along with salad-like filler material. Great portion size, reasonably priced, and the order was ready on time. Samosas were also very good! Cakes were awesome as well - both black forest and butterscotch. True to their name!“
