“Ended up here after several other places had closed their outside seating due to heat and we had our dog. How lucky were we that we were forced to try Scuttlebutt. The food was excellent, the beer options adequate and the service was great. The outside seating area was well shaded and they had several very large fans that kept the air moving and despite the temperature we were comfortable outside. We’re glad we came and we’ll be back.“

“This place is such a gem! The food is always so delicious! Their buffalo chicken sandwich is one of my favorites to this day! Staff was extremely kind and helpful. When they are busy, expect a wait, (call ahead to order if you can) but its so worth it. I enjoy looking at the water and sitting at the picnic benches while we wait so it never bothers me. This is one of my go to summer spots for local food. They also have a little camp store too. So if you need any emergency items for your camper, clamps and fasteners, swimming goggles, dish soap or s'more essentials while on vacation, they more than likely have it.“

“Just had the absolutely perfect “Crab Cakes Benedict” at Drift. The portion was appropriate for Ren (my dog) and I to share. Eggs were poached to perfection. English Muffin was toasted and buttered before assembly. Hollandaise Sauce was true…not just gravy! And the Bloody Mary was tall, cold, and 🌶️ spicy. Well done, Robyn!“

“My daughter’s wedding was held at High Tides on The Potomac and it was phenomenal! The owners, The Coffman’s, did an amazing job in decorating for the wedding outside at the Tiki Bar and the Buffet style food was delicious. The wedding was early so our guests remained all day and ate dinner inside and enjoyed the wonderful entertainment with the Solo Artist and the band later. We had many out of state family and guests and they stated that it was the BEST wedding and reception that lasted all day!! Highly recommend that you book your special events here!!!“
