“On 12 Dec, I visited the IHOP O'Donnell drive in forestville Maryland, this was the first time that I have experienced such poor service. I placed my order with the waitress Joybeth: a brown crispy waffle with the butter melted on the side, a Salisbury steak with onions and mushrooms in gravy and a cup of featured cocoa. I asked that my food and drink be bored out all at the same time. That did not happen... I first received a waffle that was not full and wasn't completed with butter cold on top, then I had to wait another 10 minutes for the Salisbury steak. So by the time my food came the waffle was cold I sent it back. When I finally got all my food I still had not received my beverage. I watched this young lady go to other tables... one guy asked for butter and he got it just like that. Another one asked for napkins, they got the napkins just like that, so I'm still waiting on my cocoa to go with my food. By the time I started eating the steak was cold. I left a dollar tip. Worst service I ever had in my years going to IHOP“

“This is one of my favorite breakfast places in Washington DC. They only take cash and they don’t have ATM inside other than that. It’s been in business since 1963. The staff is great. The prices are reasonable and the food is wonderful.“

“This is a tidy little cafe with a nice selection of healthy eats. I had a falafel wrap with a side of spinach and potatoes and a green smoothie. They have a wide range of options, from their popular chicken shawarma wrap to chickpea or salmon salads, and fresh pressed juices. What stood out to me was the fantastic service. The owner made great suggestions based on my dietary restrictions. It’s a great place to unwind, and a welcome spot im the neighborhood.“

“We stopped at Jack’s Place in Old Town for breakfast and absolutely loved it! The breakfast was great, the service was friendly, and then they really won me over. I asked if they could make me a spicy chicken sub to take with me for later—and OMG. Best sub ever. Seriously. It was spicy, flavorful, and absolutely delicious.

I love a place that does the classics well but is also willing to make you something a little different. Great breakfast, awesome people, and apparently they make a killer spicy chicken sub too. 😂

“Food was pretty good, we felt the scramble eggs aren't scrambled, if you are a picky eater and love your eggs SCRAMBLED. Everything else was great, I had a omlette and it was delicious and very well prepared. Our only complaint was the A/C, it was pumping, luckily I had (2) light jackets in my car. I noticed the couple next to us went to his car and got an sweatshirt for his Mom. It was just a bit cold, but I would deal with that versus A/C is broken. I would go back as this was my first visit.“

At this point Kia assisted me and she was very hospitable and welcoming. But what impressed me the most was the cleanliness of tje restaurant. I often get nervous allowed my daughter to use public restrooms, but this one was very clean and Kia stood at the door while I went in to assit my daughter to clean herself and get dress. A definite 10/10 experience. I'll be back!“

“This place reminds me of home. The food, service and atmosphere is always amazing. I tried the food once on Uber Eats and loved it. I now come regularly to get breakfast and it’s a little like “Cheers” everyone knows my name, everyone knows my order. “We got bagel sandwiches. The service was quick, and they took about 5 minutes to make. They were super messy, but good. There is some seating upstairs and more downstairs but there’s only tables downstairs. Not even napkins which was annoying. The bagel was poorly cut which resulted in half of the bottom bagel being about an inch wide and 1/4 inch thick.“

Our only issue on this day was that either there wasn't a full staff or people aren't being managed properly. The young lady who took our names at the door was also ringing up the customers who were leaving and showing people to their seats as tables became available. She was also walking the floor to determine when tables were coming available. That was a bit chaotic for people coming in and wondering who to see, or where to go to get r their name on the list.

“I got the Hidden Cove for breakfast and it was so good! The staff were all so nice and worked very fast. I placed my order online and it was done 5 minutes later even though the website said 15 minutes. I also got a matcha with almond milk and honey but it tasted somewhat peanut buttery for some reason so I wouldn’t recommend getting almond milk, but the matcha was still good enough. $22 for a bagel and coffee is a lot in my opinion, but I would get the bagel again“

The location is unbeatable (Whole Foods, dog park, Canal Park, Orange Theory, CVS...all within one block) and the cleanliness of the building is so nice. “I’ve been to Grass Fed Griddle twice now, and honestly it feels like a hidden gem. I’m always looking for a good quick breakfast sandwich, and this spot really delivers. The sandwich was really good and I especially loved the peppers.

My only complaint is the add on pricing. Mushrooms cost 3 dollars while tomatoes are 1.50, and I don’t understand why they cannot be priced the same since I love mushrooms.

I also like that they offer pure pressed juices, which is a nice bonus. Overall I enjoy coming here and will be back.

“My experience at the Ihop on Tech Road was Superb! The manager Franco was visible in the dinning area to ensure that things were running smooth. Mildred, the host was very pleasant I could see her smile through her mas. Jocelyn the server was outstanding! She honored every request from fresh coffee,well done bacon and so on! The workers are only as good as their leader. Thank Franco for such an awesome staff and experience. I would this Ihop 100 stars for 100 percent on customer service and delicious food!“

“I had a bacon, egg and cheese sandwich and a half smoke with cheese. The half smoke was ok but far from the best. I probably wouldn’t buy it again. The bacon, egg and cheese sandwich was good. Plenty of bacon. Parking isn’t the best but it’s manageable. You’ll find a spot in the street somewhere. They’re not wheelchair accessible.“

The first thing we noticed as we got closer to the entrance was that all of the windows in this property had steel bars covering them. I instantly thought, "We will be completely protected inside if there is a riot between the police and gangs outside." We came for lunch yesterday and the food was so delicious—and the veggies super fresh—that we had to come back for breakfast today :). The space is clean and comfortable. They also have convenient grab-and-go options, which are perfect to pick up for a lunch break at the Smithsonian. Loved the free lemon water, too—a huge plus if you don't usually order drinks like me!“
