“Delicious food and great service. Rosie went above and beyond to make my meal perfect. When I accidentally left something in there and walked out, she came out of the building and caught my attention down the block. You can tell she really cares about her customers. I will be back!“
“Awesome little place, with the best service. Went looking for a simple dinner and ended up with the evening hibachi style food. Yum yum sauce was superb! When I asked about it, the young man said it was a family recipe. Absolutely worth try. Limited seating, but they do have carryout also.“
“Still excellent and affordable. One of the best deals in town, and the staff remember the customers and provide more friendly service than anywhere else in the city. Murry and Paul’s is a beloved longtime gem. Nothing fancy, just good old-fashioned eats in a laid-back environment. I always take the kids here before Turkey Thicket playground. Love it.Kid-friendliness: Excellent for kids. Sometimes they even give the kids little freebies!“
“Great bagel place! Delicious bagels and food, great service and clean restaurant. One part of our came out with the wrong order and when they corrected it, they gave us delicious empanadas and a hibiscus drink on the house! Such a nice surprise. Other restaurants can learn from them. Check them out when in Georgetown.??“
“Jimmy T’s Place never disappoints. Kyle and the rest of the staff are alway friendly, attentive and eager to make customers feel welcome and liven up the day. No matter how busy, they always have time for you. The food is delicious and homemade. Jimmy T’s is the highlight of every trip to DC.“
“Been here twice now and I'm obsessed! I tried the animal the first time and honey butter tots. Both are a 10/10! However the animal is HUGE and to be honest all the sandwiches are pretty big so definitely worth your penny. 2nd time I came, I got the Abe foreman (sausage) and the cinnamon sugar tots. My boyfriend loved them so much he had me go back up to get more! Cashiers are always nice, even when it's busy. The National Landing is such a cute concept with easy access to great food and drink options!“
“I did my school work here, and needed to grab breakfast and lunch while I am in their cafe. The shawarma is amazing. The owner are friendly and accommodating. Their internet is fast, and the atmosphere is laid back. Their prices are also reasonable. I highly recommend this business <3Vegetarian options: Have selections for vegetarian mealsKid-friendliness: yes.“
“After tax and tip, breakfast for 3 was $89.... at a "take a number and seat yourself" coffee shop/bakery.... my other qualm was that on the website they have an "all day menu" but when we got there we were told they were only serving brunch. So all day menu but only on certain days? Maybe I misread. They forgot to bring our coffees when they said they would run it to us and they forgot our croissant with the food. But everyone that worked there was pretty friendly! And the place was really clean. I got the Cubano. It was okay. I understand why it was $20, I got a half a loaf of french bread with a pound of pork. It was ok. Menu advertised herb ham on it but it was more like a maple ham. Weird. Mom liked her brioche french toast, it was good. The lox on toast was okay. Kinda wish the toast was actually crispy. Its not bad but I have zero desire to return after spending almost $90 for breakfast. I get it this place is new so hopefully they round out some of these kinks. With how expensive it is I expect things to be a bit tighter.“
“Great spot for tea and healthy food, lovely presentation bento box. I had the lightly spicy vegan bean cakes today--Delicious and filling. Incredible selection of teas and tea accessories. Plesant staff. Will take friends there! Great location, tasteful casual decor, lots of windows.“
“It's a 24/7 greasy spoon. When you're in the mood for that kind of fare there's no where else better to go!Of course it's no Michelin star restaurant, but with hot coffee and no frills food it's a perfect late night or early morning stop. We went here on our way out of DC and it was the perfect pitstop to get a hearty bite to eat.The atmosphere feels like a true, ol diner and is the perfect place to relax.“
“Great little hole in the wall eatery. Tucked inside a gas station three women hard at work to fill customer orders. Mostly a take-out space but they do have a couple of tables if you choose to dine in which we did. Croissant sandwiches and potatoes were very good. Quality food, great prices and friendly staff! What else could you ask for?“
“We were recommended a pop tart here and there was so much more! Breakfast was delicious. Pop tart made a nice treat that lasted us 2 days. The owner personally greeted our table and gave us some helpful advice for navigating the city. If we ever find ourselves in MD again we will definitely be back!! Food 10/10 Atmosphere 10/10 (Baltimore location has a cute playground in front!! Perfect for post pancake sugar high for a kiddo) Staff 10/10“
“Roys Steak & Subs is a mom & pop carry out with delicious food, I stopped in and grabbed a couple breakfast sandwiches and some wings. I noticed that most of the customers call orders in for pick up and the people that did come in were regulars. This establishment opens early so a lot of field workers stop here for breakfast. It’s definitely a classic greasy spoon spot but the community loves it. I got them saved to my phone now.“
“Seriously the best hand pie I have ever had!!! The crust was so delicious and flaky. Muffins are full of flavor and just the right size! To top it off it is the most affordable breakfast in town. Definitely a must stop in D.C. for breakfast. Plus the staff is super kind and dedicated to their work. 5++++ stars!“
“One of the best deals I’ve found in the DMV. The BEC (bacon, egg, and cheese) is as good as any spot I can get in NYC and the prices can’t be beat. Well worth the drive if you’re in the capital and want a banging breakfast sandwich. Highly reccomend.“
“I ordered Bread & Chocolate from out of state to be delivered to my sister as a surprise on her birthday. I messaged after hours inquiring if a little note could be written along with her surprise breakfast, not only did they respond immediately, but they had a sweet heart felt card. Thank you guys so much for going above and beyond. You really made her birthday special and SO YUMMY she said. I’ll have to stop in next visit! Thank you thank you!!“
“Hands down one of the best places. I really enjoy looking at the pictures of past boxers. The hours reflect the business for early morning workers.Parking: There is parking in front and on the side. Please park in parking spot and not in front of building.“
“Nice find in the area. Highly recommend if trying to find a place with good value for the quality and with a wide variety of selections. Deli station, Mongolian grill, sushi, build-your-own-bowl, and a goodix of hot/cold/salad bar that charges by the weight. Everything was fresh and clean. Plenty of indoor seating. Wish we found this place sooner during our stay in DC!Kid-friendliness: High chairs available“
“I was new to the area they have best chicken wings and crisp toss salad , I gave my name for my order I was called by my name each time I came in at least 3 times a week.made me feel special.the pies are delicious too.service was quick pleasant employees.“
“My exercise partner and I were looking for a place that wasn't local. We chose this location because it was 4.2 stars and roughly 30 minutes from our house. The first thing we noticed as we got closer to the entrance was that all of the windows in this property had steel bars covering them. I instantly thought, "We will be completely protected inside if there is a riot between the police and gangs outside." I discovered that you need to be buzzed in by the owner to enter the restaurant as I was reaching to open the entrance.“
“I was pleasantly surprised by the flavors of the food here! The food tasted delicious my first try so I came back for a second last week, and today was my third try! Still very tasty! I ended up speaking to the lovely manager, Jane, who told me a bit about the restaurant. She shared that everything is made fresh every morning from high quality ingredients. Nothing is served from the day before. She said even the meats are all fresh from a butcher and nothing comes frozen or prepared. I can certainly tell that by the textures and flavors of the food. It can be a little hard to find but is a great lunch spot if you like variety in options or are like me and like having a little of everything at every meal rather than one main meal! This place is definitely worth a try. Everyone has always been so kind and helpful and it's a clean environment. Great place for a quick breakfast or lunch spot! They have a great drink selection and I really enjoy the make your own salad options! Specifically the tomato, cucumber & avocado salad! I came back my second time just for that salad! It has a lovely light vinaigrette and I love that the produce is ripe every time. The noodles are packed with flavor and the sauces on the meats are also very good. They also have a grill area in the back for specific orders rather than the prepared options. Will be coming again!“
“Wow. What a treat! Reasonably priced carry-out breakfast and lunch kitchen near the Navy Yard. No indoor or outdoor seating. Portions were large. Food was delicious. We tried pancakes, French toast, waffles and bacon breakfast sandwiches over several days and were never disappointed. I heard from other patrons that the fish sub was also great, but didn't get a chance to try it. Closed on Sunday. We tried some other places nearby, and none of them compared. Thanks ladies!!“
“Dropped by for dinner, and it was just a short walk from the Ritz. The food was ok, and the service was spotty. The place was pretty busy with hotel guests. The decor was nice and the lounge was posh. Good to see people out enjoying themselves.“
“Enjoyed my meal very much! The pancakes were perfectly cooked and absolutely delicious! Elmer the manager served me that day and was just a pleasure interacting with him! I definitely recommend this IHOP to everyone! To avoid rush hour I recommend coming after 1pm.Kid-friendliness: Cute kids menu and crayons!“
“Nice location, close to Ford’s Theater. There was a line out the door, but it moved pretty fast. The eggs, pancakes, waffles, corned beef hash, and country fried steak were all really good. The place is a little mom and pop shop, looks a bit dingy and not that clean, but we had a great time. The server was very friendly.“
“My name is Meredith and my family and I ordered breakfast from our neighborhood IHOP in Bladensburg, MD, which we've been coming consistently for years. This has been again one of the best restaurant experiences we've ever experienced. Dionne (Our Waitress) and Julia (Store Manager) who have served us for years, greeted us with friendly smiles, professionalism and extremely prompt amazing service! All the food was was outstanding, super fresh and mouthwatering. The ambiance is very beautiful and laid back. Their dedication to excellent customer service and professionalism is second to none and reflects great credit upon themselves and the IHOP brand. My overall rating undoubtedly is 5 out of 5 stars without hesitating. Dionne and Julia both deserve big raises and the biggest recognition/honorable mention for their amazing friendly service, attentiveness and professionalism. Thanks IHOP for hiring these jewels of employees to represent your magnificent restaurant business! :o)“
