“Goodies offers the best Chinese food in the Bowie/Crofton area—and we’ve searched far and wide! The food is always delicious and stays hot even after a 15–20 minute ride home. We’ve tried at least 10 different dishes, and haven’t had a single bad one. The staff is also incredibly helpful and welcoming. Plus, their rewards program lets us earn points toward cash off our meals, which is a great bonus!“

“I am so impressed by the continuous work ethic that I’ve seen continuously through delivering orders from the store, the workers are very kind, very respectful and very professional.

I’ve had many interactions with many different staff, and although every personality varies, one thing I can always say is that they treat that customers with respect and they do their job correctly.

This is definitely appreciated when we are working as delivery drivers on a very timely manner and need things to be sped up and quick as our job also relies on the speed we’re working.

“It’s the perfect little hole in the wall. The owner was so sweet and lovely (she calls everyone sweetheart), and the food was fresh and packed with flavor. It’s also very reasonably priced. Less than ten bucks for all lunch specials, and you get the perfect amount of food. If you’re in Bowie, give this spot a try!“

“The food was really delicious! When you go to eat here in person, you can tell its prepared fresh and you can hear and smell the food being cooked as youre waiting. “I called in my order on my drive home. The man that answered was kind and quick, and put in a special order for me to make sure I got what I requested. When I picked up, the cashier was so generous and gave us extra sauces and fortune cookies. The food was so good I didn’t even stop to take pictures. Portions were huge and still tasted great overheated. We got sesame chicken, shrimp with green beans, veg lo mein, and crab Rangoons. The crab Rangoons themselves made the meal - perfectly crispy and sweet and such a good deal on the price. Overall everything was under $60 (including a tip!), delicious, and lasted two of us 3-4 days. I’m newly local and so glad this place is so close.. we will definitely be ordering here often!“

“I normally get the Young Chow fried rice and it probably the best in the area.
Their Chow Fun is also really good although sometimes it can be hit or miss.
Their chicken wings are ok, the breading has a nice crips and decent flavor but the chicken itself was bland.
Their Lo Mein was incredibly disappointing, it was bland to the point where I had to add soy sauce, sesame oil and MSG to make it taste decent.“

“My friend got me food from here yesterday. My electricity was out., plus im kinda new to glen burnie. Well I got Szechuan shrimp and hot and sour soup. It was out of this world so many mushrooms and snow peas and the Srimp were huge. Hot and sour soup is my go to im a huge soup eater all year round. This was by far the best hot and sour soup ive eaten in years and I eat a lot of it. Good job guys ill definitely be back!“

“If you want old school chinese food, this is the perfect spot. The food was hot, fresh and delicious. Usually I hate next day chinese food but I popped my General Tso’s chicken in the air fryer the next day and it was just as delicious. I will 100% be ordering again.“

“Ordered lunch today and it was delicious! Perfectly seasoned and large portions. We ordered takeout, shortly after my husband picked up we received a call letting us know something was missing and they’d deliver it right away. They didn’t have to do that, but went out of their way to make sure we were happy customers and we absolutely are!“

“Great where it counts! The area is nothing special and has a weird smell, but the food was fantastic! I love sweet and sour chicken, but rarely can places cook it were it's not mushy or hard and overcooked. It was perfectly done here. It doesn't come with typical extra vegetables (onions, peppers, etc), but I never liked them anyway. Sauce tastes store bought, but fine. Egg rolls were best we have had. Egg drop soup was very good and thick. Pork in garlic sauce was definitely spicy 🥵🔥! Be warned, it's still great.

“This is literally the best Chinese food I have ever had. Their ingredients are clearly quality and they seem to make the sauces from scratch. They are only doing takeout still as a heads up, but for us that doesn't matter since we get them as a treat on our way back home from things in that area.“

It was fresh not hoarded with msg, sauce not overly salty, really enjoyed it with rice. This is a order and pick up place, not a sit and dine restaurant. However there is a set of tables to sit and eat if desired, wich is what I did. It was my first time and will return again.“

Consistently happy with the quality of the food, made by the same family for years running, and they're always willing to modify a dish to the request. Originally written in 2019, updating this in 2026 to note that this still remains a 5-star place, with incredibly consistent food quality for 7+ years! Everything is homemade, including eggrolls.“
