“The Comus Inn is outstanding. It is a great atmosphere that offers great food and ambiance. Whether you are downstairs in the Beer Garden or upstairs in Sammy D's Dining Room, you will have an outstanding experience. The staff is friendly, professional and really attentive.Downstairs, the Beer Garden is a lot of fun. Family friendly and a great place to kick back and listen to the live music. Sunsets can be outstanding and in the fall sitting by the fire is really relaxing. The food is outstanding. Great menu of appetizers, pizzas, salads and handheld entrees. The kids menu is extensive and has lots of options. I have had the Pizzas, the loaded BBQ nachos (great for sharing) and the award-winning Monster BLT (pictured below). Thursday nights can be really entertaining with trivia as well.Upstairs is Chef Sammy D's Dining Room. Chef Sammy D is an outstanding culinary expert and his food is always plentiful and delicious. Recently I had the Peaches and Cream starter which was flavorful and excellent. The Crab Dip was shared by others at the table, and they loved it. For my entree I had the Steak and Baked and had plenty left over for the next day. Amazing. For dessert I always get the Toasted Almond Cake and it is one of my favorites. Good selection of wines.My hats off to Doug Yurechko who has transformed this location into a must visit place.
