“First time at Marta's for the three of us. Tried three appetizers (sheep's milk ricotta with butter, octopus caciattore and the arancini milanese) and we all enjoyed them with a nice bottle of Ruvet Barbera d'Alba which was a perfect pairing to stand up to the richness of our entrees (Bronzini and honey glazed sea bass with a delightful caviar and lobster sauce). We will be back for sure! And next time we'll be sampling what looked like a wonderful collections of pasta!“
“Alexander Tervan's expertise and professionalism are unparalleled in Baltimore. From the moment we began working with him, it was clear he had a deep understanding of our needs and the local market. His guidance was invaluable in making informed decisions, and his attentiveness made us feel like we were his only clients. Highly recommended for anyone needing top-notch service in the area!“
“First time here and so glad I went! Cozy friendly place, super nice and helpful staff! I think my cocktail was a butterfly pea flower infused tequila concoction that was amazing. I had the pickle brined chicken sandwich and it was enormous and delicious!“
“Great panoramic views here to go with some scrumptious cocktails. Staff was personable, friendly, and knowledgeable. Appetizers and entrees were what one would expect for the price and nicely presented. Mushroom soup appetizer and the lobster with squid ink pasta entree, along with the seabass, were underwhelming. The ricotta appetizer, along with duck and short ribs entrees was delicious.“
“We’ve been coming here for years, and they’ve always been pleasant, fast, and accurate. Their menu is regularly updated, and they also do a good job with all the staples. They have gluten-friendly pizza, too, which allows us to keep coming back. When we dine in, we appreciate the interior which is far more upscale than your typical pizza/pasta joint.Dietary restrictions: Gluten-friendly pizza!“
“My wife and I walked in without a reservation. Just looking for a happy hour place to get drinks and snacks. They sat us at the chef’s counter. It was a very pleasant surprise. The staff was friendly. Watching the chefs make the food, they kept everything clean and organized and they looked very professional. The food was delicious, we got the shrimp crostini, beet carpaccio and the fried chicken Thursday special which is a must order in my opinion. Cocktails were yummy. And price was reasonable. Will def go back and take my wife here for another date!“
“My mom and I went flea market shopping and when hunger struck, we turned to Google for breakfast recommendations. Spoon restaurant exceeded our expectations with its amazing food. We were promptly seated around 10:00 AM, and I'm already planning to return next Saturday.“
“We had a large dinner party at Gunther and Co and the consensus of the group was that we would all be back. The food was so delicious! Even the simple dishes were done so well. We ordered the pork chop and the halibut, but everyone got something different. The apps and cocktails were also well crafted and delicious. And our server took our app and dinner orders at the same time to make sure everything came out in a timely manner. There was a never a moment where we were wondering where the food was. She was knowledgeable about the dishes and the drinks and was so kind. This place was immaculate from start to finish and we can’t wait to go back!“
“We ate here last year and it was really amazingThe Copper Burger is mouth watering heaven, lolThe staff here was really awesome sauce as wellWe really enjoyed our time here and we will most definitely stop here again if we are ever in Baltimore in the future“
“I liked the personal attention and the entire staff made us feel so important the moment we stepped in! The food was good, no condiments. I thought this would be a good time to let the cooks shine, well, needed some seasoning.Over all, GREAT PLACE!Don't be shy, ask for salt and pepper.“
“I have always wanted to try this place but for whatever reason kept pushing it off and I'm mad I did. I went for date night and there was no happy hour but that wont stop me from going back!Steamed shrimp was perfect! Beer cold, service-good, sliders-great, Buffalo wings had the best sauce ever, celery not limp and was fresh.Arrive early because its small and will get packed quick.“
“I had dinner last night at Gertrude's before the candlelight concert in the theater. The service was excellent. I ordered the seafood salad and the salad was so fresh and delicious. The Maryland crab soup was flavorful and a little spicy. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming. It's definitely a great place for a date night or an intimate dinner. Love it. Def recommend. I will be back.“
“It's the best burger in Federal Hill and comes with the most amazing potatoes and a green salad. Friend ordered the same and both of our burgers we're cooked perfectly to the temperature we asked. Everything about Sobo is welcoming and the food is always delicious.“
“Great Bar food! Shared the rhino chasers which never disappoint. We both got wings. My son got shottis sauce which were very good. I got the garlic Parmesan of which were tasty but holy garlic. Both wings were cooked perfect. Sever/bartender was great and very friendly. Ambiance is that of a Baltimore row home bar. Very time.“
“I have lived in the area since 2008. I would drive by this place for years and say "I need to stop by there and try that place out!" Well, I finally did in 2023! Great hometown diner spot! It's got a home type of feel, and the restaurant looks like it probably did back in the 1970s! Prices are very reasonable. The food is good! I was surprised that the Burger here is HUGE and has that classic char grilled taste! The Chicken Monterrey is very good! They have a well priced Country Fried Steak. The Cream of Crab Soup here is EXCELLENT when they have it available. Good Sandwiches, and the waitresses refill my Iced Tea without having to ask! :) I come here like every other week now for lunch! Highly recommend!“
“10/10 would recommend! This is such a cute restaurant in an adorable neighborhood in Baltimore. The atmosphere and staff were very welcoming. The food was delicious and menu was different - had the best pig ears I've ever had! The coolest thing is the menu is rotating so you'll want to come back!“
“Sensational. Idk bout the reviews but it's a mom pop and son biz, if you were running a restaurant and everyone's multitasking you'd want grace, so give them grace, bc if it was you you'd understand. The mom is the cook, cleaner and all Around great person, she don't say much, but I feel the love, and why yall need to talk to her anyway she working. Bc I saw a few reviews talking about her cut it out. The food is authentic, energy authentic, everything authentic. The portions are crazy for carry out and even larger for dine in. I LOVE IT. Welcome to the area. . My 3rd time and I haven't been disappointed. If you got an issue they are quick to remedy it. It's all made with love. So be gentle“
“A legendary Baltimore bar dedicated to the local horror author Edgar Allan Poe. Features excellent craft cocktails in theme with Poe's stories, gourmet food with plenty of changing specials and a cozy (but macabre) aesthetic loved by locals and visitors alike.I recommend 'The Black Cat' cocktail for the best espresso martini you will ever taste.“
“Baby; I'll start off with the negative comment first, I waited maybe 5 mins too long but I understood why it took longer than expected once I received my food. I ordered the salmon which was cooked in a sauce. My sides were mash potatoes and vegetables. When I say delicious is an understatement, it is! The fish was cooked to perfection. The sauce was so good I nearly started to use my fingers to sop it up! The mash tasted as if it was prepared the same day. The vegetables on my dish were cooked perfectly. The food was not salty, it was just cooked with love and detail! I'll be back!Parking: Regular“
“We made reservations online in advance for our anniversary and were absolutely thrilled by our experience! From the professional, friendly staff to the cozy, small bistro atmosphere down to the excellent food and cocktails - we really enjoyed our experience and will be back!“
“Excellent shawarma and literally my favorite pizza in Baltimore. Great service, owned by kind people. They’re also halal so all of my students can enjoy pizza parties to the fullest.Vegetarian options: Lots of vegetarian optionsDietary restrictions: Halal-friendly“
“Eating at the Picantillo is always a wonderful experience. Whenever my husband and I visit my parents, this is one of our favorite spots to eat with them. The food is always great (my favorites being the smothered burrito and the chimichanga) and the service is always excellent.“
“Hands down the best tasting food I've had in Baltimore so far. For an upscale restaurant, the prices aren't that bad. I would say you can have a date for about $50. If you want an appetizer two entrees and a dessert it'll be closer to $80. But again, the food is so good that you'll want to have all your special occasion dining there. The space is pretty small, but the patio seating is nice and spacious during warm months.“
“The brussel sprouts were tasty, burger was thick, meaty, and the bread pudding dessert was just meh. Our service was quick, friendly, and responsive at the bar with the bartender... He had our backs, super kind dude.We saw some really nice dishes going to other patrons. We will definitely be back to try other dishes.“
“Stopped in for lunch while staying in a hotel in the neighborhood. Had an awesome lunch with some brews. We chatted with the bartender our entire time there, who ended up being the owner - super awesome and kind guy! The vibes here were immaculate, with great service and a fun atmosphere. We will be back next time we are in town.“
“Food was great and the atmosphere made the night even more enjoyable. Expect to spend a lot but in my experience, the food was worth it. Our waitress did NOT provide us with 18% worth of gratuity (But policy gave it to her automatically). In fact, her service was sub standard. We have had much MUCH better service at our local diner back home. Other then her, everyone else was pleasent and attentive, and if it wasn't for that, our waitress alone wouldve reduced the stars from 4 to 3.“
“Disappointing. Cream of Crab soup had tiny pieces of crab meat & no flavor.Too much flour.Got the shrimp egg rolls & they were either microwaved for too long or stale wontons. Too chewy. Skimpy on the shrimpCheeseburger good. Fries were the best.“
“My group and I had a wonderful experience at Tin Roof - I am pleasantly surprised! To preface, we had just come from a horrible experience trying Docks on the Harbor for drinks and knew we needed to find somewhere else to eat (don't go to Docks, y'all). I figured Tin Roof could be a good bet for quick bite and some beers with a group of 6. We walked in and got lucky with an open 6 top. You order at the bar, and the bartender could not have been nicer and cool with our large food and drink order - I wish I had his name. We ordered a ton of chicken tenders and sliders. I'm a chicken tender fanatic, and these were top notch. Two of the orders came our with the sauce ON the tenders instead of on the side, and our bartender/server went ahead and got us a fresh plate of tenders without us having to ask. (The tenders tossed in the BBQ sauce were actually delicious, so it was a win-win for us!) My friends said the sliders and the tator tots were great. We ended up staying for almost two more hours because the space was so great for catching up with friends. Service was attentive - someone was away coming by to refill our water pitcher and take away empty plates/glasses. (We were gone before the live music started up, so can't review what it's like during a show). I'm local to Baltimore and work in the Inner Harbor - I will definitely be back to Tin Roof!“
“My daughter and I started with beer, cocktail and appetizer of bread & butter with cheese which was good, but two medium size slices of bread for $8 is way over priced. We had the house burgers with a salad and french fries, which were very good. We both decided to get milkshakes to go. I got a white chocolate and she got an Oreo shake. They were small, not thick and I have had much better milk shakes. Definitely not worth the $8 a piece. Service was so so, but I believe the waitress was covering the whole restaurant. Under the circumstances she did a good job.“
“Lovely fresh food. Crab cakes were very fresh with a nice sear on both sides. The smoked crab cake was my favorite. I was able to chat with the owner for a long time and enjoyed the conversation. They have a Chinese / Lunar New Year special menu too!“
“Romano's is still a great place to eat. Best softball sized lump crab cakes (if your from Maryland you can appreciate), kids steak was delicious and definitely big enough for a adult to eat. If your not into seafood or steak, they have plenty of different options. Never had anything bad from here. Even the hot roast beef platter with mashed potatoes is a go to here.“
“Service is usually wonderful, great. Had large party today. Server was not great. Could not handle the group. It took an hour for drinks, 1.1/2 hours for bread we ask for several times. I was one of the first to order and the last to get my food. Had to get my food to go. Not sure when I'll visit there again.“
“Love this place. The food is always fresh and tasty. I have never been there before i always order door dash but I am assuming the service is great because they have never messed up my order. Ive had the following: Hot Panini SandwichesGrilled Shrimp, Shrimp PaniniSweet Kale Shrimp WrapShrimp Salad Sandwich“
“Had a wonderful lunch today at wicked sisters. Our server Maria was an absolute delight! ? She checked up on us often, indulged us in friendly banter, and was an all-around joy!The food was phenomenal! The McCabe Burger, with pretty much all the add-ons, was absolutely perfect. Would definitely recommend upgrading the side of fries to sweet potato fries!I'm not from the area, however, if I'm in Maryland again I might just be making my way back here. The food was on point!“
“I wrote a long, painstakingly detailed review and the page refreshed and deleted everything ? so just take my word for it—food’s good hahaHad the short rib birria tacos, honeycomb guac, and coconut margs. All delicious and service was great. The end.“
“My son found this place one day when we were looking for something different and decent to eat. Within the last two months, my son and I have eaten at Blessings Carryout more than a half a dozen times. I must say that I’m very picky about the food that I eat, but their food is delicious. It’s not far from John Hopkins hospital and right across the street from North East market place…They have a great lunch special menu. Today I got orange chicken with lo mein noodles, and shrimp egg foo yong with fried rice. My son and I shared both dishes and it was delicious as always. All for just $16.50.“
“I’ve been waiting a very long time to eat at Foraged and the food did not disappoint. Truly delicious and creative from start to finish. Our server wasn’t the most knowledgeable so we ended up proactively reaching out to other servers for help, all of whom were lovely and knowledgeable. Would definitely come back. The super fresh and creative cuisine more than made up for our servers incompetence. Highly recommended overall.“
“Love the ambience in the morning! Delicious food! I loved the avocado toast! With a side of bacon!! Kate was the best with her recommendations of chocolate latte! And the donuts and croissants were fabulous!!! Paired with a chocolate martini!!! Good morning Baltimore!!!! Fabulous customer service!!“
“not what i thought it would be, but i mean that in the best way possible! this unassuming establishment has great service and food. i ordered the fajita mix and chicken and waffles. outstanding value here! so much food for the price!!! and i was given my food with a smile!“
“I was visiting my husband and he told me I had to check Charmed out while I had some time waiting for him to get off work. I ordered the Mexican breakfast tacos and they were absolutely incredible. Best breakfast tacos I’ve ever had. Everyone in there was super nice and it was a great place to hang out for a while to do some work. Needless to say, we were back the next morning for round 2 of Mexican breakfast tacos! 100/10 recommend this place!!“
“Today was the second time i ordered food from Sakura 2 and they never fail. Perfect for a late night meal. I have ordered cheesesteak egg rolls for my friend and she said its the best she ever had. Its hot crispy and fresh. I ordered sushi which was good but the drunken noodles are amazing!!! I love this place! Thank you!“
“This is a place where you can order anything on the menu and know it will be delicious. They have staple items that are always there and change out other items with innovative dishes. The staff is friendly. The restaurant is cozy and always clean. And the food is something you just can't get anywhere else. Simply no place I'd rather go to in Canton.“
“Found this little gem nestled on the side of the Tempo Bar in Essex, Md.The beef is absolutely delicious ! Fresh roll, Thin cut Smokey flavor piled high. I can make 2 samitches out of one !Piled high Pulled Pork Samitch is the cats pajamas.Love the Turkey too.Plenty of side to choose from. The fries are fantastic and the beans the bomb. They have a fixin table under the big tent so you can dress up your viddles as you like. The Owners are fantastic folks who appreciate your support of their local business. You gotta try the Meatmans Meat. It can't be beat.Peace and Enjoy.“
“I know if they had the $$$ to fix the building they would. Unfortunately it's more than that it's the entire dilapidated building upstairs is coded. But I'm always going to support they've been through alot even being physically hurt protecting their customers from the madness getting hurt cursed out torture ? ? but they are pleasent and still here strong ? ❤️.Parking: Boooooooo the state keeps making money with the state building & jail around“
“Enjoyed cocktails & dinner Sat night between 6-7:15 pm before heading to the Center Stage theater to see Mexodus. Our waitress was delightful and made great meal suggestions upon request. The atmosphere was lively and my “Lexington market” crab cakes, salmon & shrimp salad hit the spot. Always nice to find another good downtown restaurant option.“
“The talented bar staff is very friendly and attentive. Even though it was our first time there, we were treated like regulars by Davis and Anna. My husband and I really enjoyed our tasty cocktails and we are eager to try the food on our next visit. We will definitely be returning to this fantastic place.“
“My wife and I have been talking about stopping by Amber since it opened and just never got around to it.Last weekend we were walking by with the dogs and noticed they had happy hour all day on Sunday so figured we should check it out.Service was friendly enough, and they were accommodating to the dogs. We ordered drinks (a couple beers and a crush) as well as nachos, a fish sandwich, and a flatbread. The beers were a bit of a disappointment, for a place that made a big deal about their beer selection when they were opening, they didn't have anything especially exciting. What they did have was also a bit ambitiously priced, even during happy hr. These prices were reasonable $6-$7, but not much of a happy hour.My wife enjoyed her fish sandwich, and my flatbread was pretty good. For the price though I found the flatbread to be a bit on the tiny side. The nachos were also fine, but for the money the portion an the quality was a bit lacking...I would consider going back, but the money (~$70) I could have had a better more filling meal across the street at Wiley Gunter's.“
“A hidden gem in plain sight. We walked in thinking it was going to be a nice waterfront restaurant and what we got was a carribean experience in Maryland. The music, the food and the servers transport you to a cool resort on the carribean. We had the Mexican ceviche and the seafood pot, both were excellent. We got way more than we bargained for and it was all worth it.Kid-friendliness: A small playground is available for the little ones“
