“We were a little surprised to start the evening by ringing a doorbell to get in, but the warm welcome that followed put us at ease right away. The atmosphere is fantastically unique, quirky, and full of character. The bartenders were genuinely friendly and the service was quick.

We ordered the Mac ’n’ Cheese with Jerk Chicken, Yuca Bites, Chorizo con Arroz y Gandules and the Cinnamon Mini Donuts. Everything was perfectly seasoned (especially great if you enjoy a bit of heat like we do). The only downside was that the portions felt a bit on the smaller side.

It also looks like they host a lot of interesting events like book readings, sip-and-paints, comedy shows and more. We didn’t get a chance to attend one this time, but it definitely added to the charm and made us want to come back.“

“I've never been in the actual bar Part but if I have to go to a liquor store in the neighborhood it is by far the best one. Good selection, reasonable prices, tend to keep a lot of the riff Raff and beggars from hanging out. The owners and people that work there are very nice also. There's at least 12 liquor stores right here within walking distance and if they're open they're the ones that I spend my money with. Even late at night I feel safe going to the ATM here.“

“This is the epitome of a great neighborhood Baltimore bar. It’s got its regulars, but welcome to all. A great place to watch an Orioles game or a ravens game as well. It has been around for years and change ownership about five or so years ago, but the new owner is great and truly cares about the place and her patrons.It’s a national treasure and a must visit for everyone in the area.“

“Odie’s is a great local bar to hang out and soak up the atmosphere with good people. When you go, say a special hi to both Jamie and Ryan. They are always top notch on service and can make just about anything you’d want. I love coming here to watch sporting events, especially Football bc the screens are plentiful, clear and large in diameter. The best part is the food, which is amazing. My personal go to are the spicy peach wings. I think I’ve had them at least once for the past six weeks. This establishment was easy to locate, provided free parking, very clean, and had great tv's for sports viewing.

We were seated immediately upon arrival and greeted by Adam.
Adam had a great personality larger than life!!

Each and everything was great, except a double shot ordered at the table. It was smaller than a single shot. We didn't want to make a scene, so we dealt w it. But never again.

“Been going to highland inn for 2 plus years. Love the crowd and the price of drinks. I love the weekend music too but I do have a question. Friday and Saturday usually 1am music turn off and closed at 2am.
Recently the highland inn bar and grill has been closing Friday and Saturday at 1am and shutting down the music by 12.
Will this be a new permanent change now?“

“Mannnnnn!! This place was ?, it's a hidden gem. We stumbled upon it last Thursday and they had a live band. Wow, she covered Erykah Badu and I've never in my life heard anyone cover Badu, it was fantastic!! The owner and staff was great and the food was delicious. No,it's not a restaurant but they had a pop up chef selling Dinners...amazing food! Now let's talk about the drinks....the bartender was enjoyable, kind and she understood what I needed!!! We had an incredible time and will be going back Thursday...don't let the appearance fool you, very quaint with good energy!!“

It has a small group of regulars and if you know who I'm referring to then you're probably one of them. But outside of them most people just keep to themselves. “Checked out Sonoma’s for the first time and left really happy we did. The atmosphere is one of the first things that stood out. Open, comfortable, and laid out well, with plenty of TVs and seating whether you’re there to watch a game or just hang out. Service was on point from start to finish.

We sampled some of the food as the new owner starts putting his own spin on the menu, and it was a great first impression.
The honey sriracha wings were outstanding, great flavor and cooked perfectly, and the pierogies were also a solid hit. Add in affordable beer prices and a strong lineup of local drafts, and it checks a lot of boxes.

Found out later in the night that it was karaoke night, which sounded like a fun time, we couldn’t stay this round, but it’s definitely on the list for next visit. Sonoma’s feels like a place that’s heading in a really good direction, and we’ll be back soon.“
